Crispin's version of art is a lot bigger than most people's. When he performs, the point for him, is to have a big impact on the people observing him.
My brother and I, and a few friends, were supposed to grab a drink one night, after my brother attended a reading by Crispin Glover. One of his books.
We didn't think much of it, because that was in the afternoon, so when midnight comes and goes, and my brother is a no-show, I just assumed he flaked. Nope. Crispin just read his entire book in one sitting, getting progressively faster and louder as More people got up and left. For nearly 12 hours.
My brother was one of the few audience members who stayed for the full thing, just to see where it went.
this is my mum’s favourite video out of the entirety of the online and she shows it to everyone
I love River's Edge and honestly Crispen Glovers work all round but I have zero explanation for what the fuck I just watched.
Crispin Glover made a surrealist film shot in 12 days that took over a decade to edit and release. The entire cast is composed of people with Down Syndrome. It is the first in a planned trilogy.

When asked before the premiere about what the film is like, Glover stated "IT'S LIKE STAR WARS!"
I saw Rubin & Ed at a film festival screening and when Glover drank a cooler full of runoff from a dead frozen cat, it was the first - and to date, only - time I threw up in a theater.
I could watch this. But. I’d prefer not to.
BTW, this movie was dark af.
Wow. First of all, classic Letterman was great. Secondly by all accounts (unless he went method Joaquin Phoenix) that wigga's crazy. Finally, River's Edge (1986) is a great film.
crispin glover is a real one.
My roommate and I saw this when it aired and we were completely baffled by it.
