video that you're getting ready to watch this video is about the Crete carrier tractor purchase program we will cover the following areas in this video loan terms down payment requirements truck specs owner operator pay and then at the end we will add a few clips about the tractor purchase program from Crete carrier themselves and there will also be a clip if you were thinking about bringing your own truck onto Crete carrier about how to switch carriers and bring your truck to Crete let me start by saying that this is a finance deal this is a loan this is not some sort of walk away lease program the trucks are financed through capital casualty and a minimum down payment is required which we will cover in this video but your name goes on the title from day one this is a loan not a lease so let's get into this these trucks are sold on near or at wholesale price increase not trying to make a bunch of money off of the trucks they value you as a owner operator partner and a business partner they're not trying to make a lot of money off of the sell of a truck they are trying to help you get into business by selling these trucks at the rates that they're selling them at again this is not a walk away lease this is a loan through capital casualty the monthly payments on a 2014 or 2015 unit which are very very far and few to to choose from they are now starting to sell the 2016 s which we will go over the specs and all that on a 2016 truck later in this video along with the pricing those 2014 or 2015 units are selling at roughly 1400 to 1800 dollars if you could find one the down payment there is a minimum down payment required on all of the units of $3,000 minimum and that is could be more than that depending on your credit and the trucks are governed at 67 miles an hour while they while you are under loan so once your loan has been paid off and you're no longer under loan you can there is no governor requirements after that so if you bring your own truck to Crete as an owner-operator and you're bringing an outside truck there is no governor requirements there neither so 67 miles an hour while you are under loan with Crete and capital casualty the trucks will be your choice of a red or blue one depending on availability at the time that you make the deal the blue trucks were owed retired Shaffer trucks and the red ones were retired Crete trucks upon purchase agreement you'll be sent to a purchase location to be able to go and pick your unit out there are no balloon payments in these deals this is a loan once you make the blast payment you own the truck and your name goes on a title from day one just like a loan just like you went to a bank and you know that that is a big difference there's a huge difference between a walk away lease where your name is never on the title and a purchase in a purchase your building equity in this deal and you're not stuck at the end of these lease purchase deals where you have a huge balloon in order to buy out your truck at the end some of them say that you're doing a dollar buyout but then if you add up all the payments look and see what you actually paid for that truck and it is well above wholesale cost probably well above retail cost on that truck so on a purchase that you're buying a truck at or near wholesale pricing with a loan it is actually helping you build equity into that truck right from day one so now let's talk about the 2016 Freightliner Cascadia is with the manual transmission that a crete is selling right now at hotel or near wholesale cost and these these trucks are suspect with the DD 15 455 horse engine fourteen point eight liter with an even fuller ten speed 72 inch high-rise roof sleeper with a 230 inch wheelbase it has rear air slide suspension ABS Meritor brake system am/fm/cd mp3 premium radio new steers and recaps 22.5 Lowepro tires it has a 1200 watt perky inverter optimized idle and s bar heater or APU system which is like the partner spark park smart type system that is included in some of the afraid line of units when you buy them new it also has the on guard collision avoidance system and it's already prepped for alongs the purchase price is sixty eight thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars and that's based off the trunk having four hundred thousand miles and it includes the remaining original manufacturer or OAM warranty and then upon the OEM coverage expiration the buyer gets a two-year 250 thousand mile extended warranty policy provided by true north which is included in that price so that sixty eight thousand seven fifty actually includes the two-year warranty and those warranties to the best of my recollection are probably somewhere in the thirty-five hundred to five thousand dollar range which puts the actual price of the truck somewhere around 63 to 64 thousand I actually looked on the truck paper and you can find trucks with comparable miles in the 372 400 range for about 72 to 74 thousand you can't find them for 68,000 but they have a little five hundred thousand to five hundred fifty even five hundred seventy thousand miles at the sixty eight thousand mile price mark now the the down payment can be as low as three thousand dollars which we told you guys earlier in this video there's a three thousand dollar downpayment minimum for qualified buyers approximate monthly principal and interest payment on these two thousand six teens are going to be between nineteen hundred and twenty three hundred dollars and that's based off of 7% to 9% interest rate the loan term is thirty to thirty six months and a maintenance escrow is required of fifteen to twenty cents per per truck per mile basically fifteen to twenty cents per mile will be required for that maintenance escrow which is your money to use and and be able to repair the trunk and things like that with and then tax service is available through a TBS that is an optional you don't have to do that now what is required on these trucks is of a service every twenty five thousand miles or sooner you must grease the truck have grease the chassis check the fluids and have a mini inspection and then the B service is required every 50,000 miles or sooner which includes an inspection all change grease oil filter water filter if needed and then the qualifications the tractor must be leased on to Crete carrier or Shaffer trucking so you can't take the truck to another carrier until you've paid at all so during the process of that loan that truck must stay at Crete carrier for the whole time now financing funding is available to qualified drivers and owner operators through capital casualty company the applicant must meet credit and safety production standards and if you got any questions you can contact Crete carrier we are going to put some clips at the end of this video so that you guys can contact them if you want some more information about the 2016 trucks which they have available now so now let's talk about pay rates deductions and discounts keeping in mind that Crete carrier pace on the practical routed mile which is the route more in line with what you would drive as a truck driver everyday throughout your day a lot of carriers pay short mile hhg mileage which short changes you somewhere between eight to ten percent Crete doesn't do that they pay you on the practical routed mile so let's get into the pay for runs that are 250 to 700 miles on the OTR division for Crete you'll be looking at one dollar and eighteen cents per mile and on the Shaffer side you'll be looking at one dollar and 21 cents per mile plus fuel surcharge and practical routed model on runs between one mile and 150 miles on the Crete side you'll be looking at one dollar and sixty-three cents per mile and on the Shaffer side you'll be looking at one dollar is 66 cents per mile plus fuel surcharge now they also offer a weekly home time option and on that option you will be looking at one dollar and eight cents per mile plus fuel surcharge now on the deductions the the following deductions or the deductions that we were able to get to help better serve you as to what you can maybe come up with as to what your settlement might be weekly or the deductions you'd be looking at weekly if you released all de Crete the plates will run you forty four dollars per week up to a 16 hundred and fifty dollar cap which is what the plate cost the escrow is $50 per week up to 750 dollars cap bobtail insurance is going to run you $9 per week and the physical damage it really depends on your truck's value so we don't have a estimated number in there and then again your maintenance escrow which is 15 to 20 cents per mile as we talked about earlier in this video one way to look at that is you don't have to set back and rob Peter to pay Paul to make truck repairs that money is sitting in that account for you if you need it you should always be setting back for maintenance crete requires you to set back if you do have one of those loans now if you were bringing your own truck a maintenance account is not required at Crete if you were bringing your own truck but it is required if you have one of the trucks on loan now let's talk about discounts on fuel discounts they say on average 40 cents per gallon off of the cash price now I was leased to Crete and I will tell you I averaged around 45 cents per gallon off of off of the cash price and there was a one instance where I have written down that I got sixty four cents off the cash price per gallon so when Crete tells you they're passing on their discounts they do actually pass on their discounts to you and that is something worth hanging your hat on because the people at Crete tell you what they say they mean what they say and they do what they mean and you know they they do exactly what they tell you they're going to do and they never gave me any false information when I was least on there so you can hang your hat on that you definitely are going to get told what to expect at Crete right up front right from the get-go so I hope you enjoyed the video here on the Crete carrier tractor purchase program if you don't mind be sure you hit that subscribe button before you leave here today join us on the Facebook group at truckers coach on Facebook groups be sure you hit that like button before you leave and give us that interaction and leave us a comment and let us know what you think about this video and what you think about the track to purchase program at Crete carrier and Shaffer trucking and stay tuned for the clips thanks for watching with Crete Shaffer we have an outright purchase program so it's similar to go in and buy in a car you put that down payment in your name's on the title from day one there's not a balloon payment at the end once last payments made it's your truck Creek has a good purchase price the last truck I bought I purchased from Crete because the interest rate was better and the price was better than anybody else the biggest difference between a loan and a lease purchase program is with the loan you'll have a minimal down payment upfront but then once that final payments made it's your truck the difference between that and your typical lease payment leases usually are zero down but there's such a large balloon payment at the end of that lease agreement that drivers really never owned their own truck with us you're building equity in that truck over that three to four year term that you're paying the truck off and eventually that truck is under your ownership if you're an owner operator at a different company coming on with Crete carrier first thing you need to do is get an approved application in through a recruiter at Crete carrier once you get that approved application in we're gonna give you a call set you up for orientation and really it's just a matter of your truck then passing a do t & a Creed inspection if you're interested in purchasing a truck from outside the company already have an existing truck there's really very few qualifications that we're looking for one make sure that truck can pass a DoD inspection to your trucks required to weigh no more than nineteen thousand five hundred pounds with a half a tank of fuel and three there's some simple documents that we would need to be able to get your lease agreements in shape your insurance paperwork and that sort of thing before you went to orientation my first truck I purchased from select trucks a freight liner it was just because of the price difference I got a better price from them Crete has a good purchase price the last truck I bought I purchased from pre
