Hello friend Welcome to my video In this video, I show you how to set up a Emulated Virtual Environment and create your first lab with EVE-NG First download EVE-NG from EVE-NG site We will use EVE-NG Community version free one From VMware browse your downloaded file and unzipp EVE-COMM-VM folder and you will see EVE-COMM-VM.ovf file in there Power ON your EVE VM and you should see login screen as above but do not think everything is installed as you see Login screen Log into the EVE using the default login root / eve. After login type your preferred root password for EVE, default is eve. default is eve Remember it for further use After that it should start installation Like above we should see VM IP Address Now from your LAN you will be able to access EVE-NG from web browser Login to EVE-NG with "admin/eve" Above you can find a Windows client side pack that will install everything necessary for running telnet, vnc, wireshark, rdp applications when working on or building labs on EVE-NG Next download and install WinSCP We use WinSCP to upload the necessary files to EVE This section will help you to add Windows 7 Host to eve-ng in simplest way You download the Windows 7 image from the link in the description of this video Login with the given credentials Go to the path opt/unetlab/addons/qemu on the remote machine Navigate to folder from local to remote machine and upload Upload the downloaded image to the EVE using WinSCP to path as above Open the Eve-ng in browser. Create a new lab then hover your mouse over ‘add an object’ and select the images Next YNext, you add switches and routers to your lab Go to the path opt/unetlab/addons/iol/bin on the remote machine Upload the downloaded image to the EVE using WinSCP to path as above. IOL images must end with the “.bin” extension License must be stored under the same path. Google for how to create iourc license file Type following command to fix permissions Open the Eve-ng in browser Add a switch and a router to your lab Next Connect the nodes together We will practice a simple example like above You will configure the router so that the computer can connect to the internet First set the IP address for the interfaces on the router Then configure static routing on Cisco router Next, set a static ip address for the computer and check the results Next, set a static ip address for the computer and check the results The computer cannot connect to the internet yet, so you need one more step You need one more step, configure static route on your router Configure static route on your router Then try again the results the computer is connected to the internet I hope this video helped you install EVE-NG and create your first lab As always If you found this post useful, then subscribe to my YouTube channel
