Create design component specs automatically in Figma

hello it's Nick and today I want to show you how to automatically create company design specification in figma this approach will save you a lot of time when you need to create a product documentation for your design system or you need to do design hand off to your engineering team I have a button company that I took from Microsoft fluent UI kit I will leave the link to this kit in description as you can see the button comes with a few properties such as style size State icon and label let's play with some some of the properties the plugin that I use to generate specification is called Eight shapes once we launch the plugin it allows us to generate the specs for the selected component so we need to select the component and choose the properties I will leave default selection so let's create the specs let's see what we've got the anatomy of the component content icon and text then properties that we covered before such as Style size state icon and layout and spacing these are horizontal sizing and paddings for this button hope it was helpful thank you
