Create AI Art inside Photoshop with Stable Diffusion | Free Plugin & Tutorial

in this video I will teach you how to use the AI to draw these amazing images from scratch in Photoshop the plugin I am using is all Cade art version 0.4 I am using Photoshop 2023 but the plugin also supports Photoshop 2022. if your Photoshop is an older one you should probably upgrade your Photoshop first there are four panels on top of the plugin the create panel is where you interact with the AI for creating new artworks or doing some Recreation the history panel memorizes all past events that you have done within the plugin the explore panel is like a search engine that links your mind with a mega art database on cloud you can search by prompts or search by image the last one gives information about the plugin rules and helpful links now let's dig into each basic function in arcade art AI uses text descriptions AKA prompts as the main input to draw pictures so a good prompt is the key for a good painting but writing prompts starting from nothing is difficult for beginners even for pros that is why we have the explore panel open the explore panel on the top you can find a text input box this is the place you can do keyword prompt search to open your mind and get the very initial prompt let's say if I want to design a poster for Christmas just type in Christmas and click search all related ideas will be retrieved scroll down the list to find the one that inspires you most for this Christmas poster case I prefer this design having a cat wearing a Christmas hat looks very cute and would be a nice idea so let's refine the keywords by adding cat and Christmas hat and search again also you can do image search import your image to photoshop and select the target area that you are interested in searching for and click the upload button you don't need to input any keywords the search engine can find all similar images with their corresponding prompts the data set behind the search engine is a 1 million data set collected from the internet and is growing feel free to use the explore function for new ideas all these are collected from the internet and all publicly available after finding the right one to start with click the resume text button these prompts and its corresponding parameters will be loaded to the create panel let's switch to the create panel to start our painting The Prompt has been successfully loaded select and Target area to paint then click the generate button for text to image generation the AI will generate a painting based on your text description make sure the random seed is empty or zero so that you can get different results every time AI paints the results are shown on the bottom history box click the image to import the result to a new layer where you could click the alt text button to import all results the resume button is for reloading the input values and seed for generating this particular image and the variant button is for getting similar images based on the given image you could also import the image first and change the prompt guidance and use the variant button to get more similar images you could tune the strength input value larger strength means the results will be closer to the prompt descriptions but may also lead to some bad artifacts one of the most useful features of this plugin is the complete button it is also known as image and painting and image out painting given a selected box any areas with transparent background will be automatically filled your prompts acts as a hint for the AI to fill these missing areas so make sure your prompts can well descript the missing Concepts to be completed the complete function is very helpful because you can use an eraser to erase any unwanted areas and use this function to redraw it with more detailed prompt descriptions now let's look at some Advanced features the method menu is for choosing different AI models the sampler menu is for choosing different Samplers though different Samplers may not have much difference but is useful for rare cases the gradient scales measure how strong the text guidance should be the higher the gradient scales the stronger the correlation between the text prompts and the output image there is a feature called prompt notebook where you can edit your own prompts there are some items that exist in the notebook as examples such as the hand enhancer if you click this button it will add some positive prompts and negative prompts for better painting quality these prompts will be appended to the text box when you click it click the edit button to edit the prompt notebook or add your own prompt note let's talk about the prompts input text box prompts is how you would like AI to draw the picture but you can also tell the AI not to draw something for example not to include sky in your image for this use case use the negative description by clicking the negative button and type in the concepts not to appear in the results anything inside the negative prompts description will be suppressed while painting the up button is for super resolution AKA image upscale for any selected area this button will add details to the selected area make it sharper and due to noising the upscale function only takes the selected image as input and thus all these inputs won't affect the upscale results also you could let the AI automatically do an upscale after each generation by selecting the post processor that's all for the basic functions of allcade art Photoshop plugin it does not require a local GPU it is free for download and free to use no need to set any
