so I just took this image from Pinterest what I want to do is just to this image I want to recreate this in SketchUp and enscape the first thing that I want to do is I just want to set up the composition and all the details from the start so I just want to get started with the modeling of the kitchen first so right here I'm going to create a rectangle shape here I'm gonna do 240 by 60 and then for the height we're going to do 93 centimeters and then I'm not sure if I want to divide the kitchen the same way that it is divided here for example I know that this is going to be a 60 for sure so uh 93 by 60. this is one of them and then obviously we just copy the same line for uh 1.5 centimeters here we also will have to create the counter top right here which will be just three centimeters I'm going to increase it this way something like uh let's say 2.5 centimeters would be fine I can copy this and then just move it for about 35 centimeters seems fine and then the other one for about 65 and then just another one for another 35 centimeters and now what I want to do is also divide this section through this line so this will be a whole new Surface and then I will extrude it to the top uh do something around this we will also create the underneath part so this should be eight centimeters so I'm going to continue with this I'm going to continue in this way because this doesn't matter that much we don't have a lot of the composition review from this one and then what I'm going to do is I'm just going to go and create another rectangle from here up to the end I'm going to continue with this upper side so [Music] I think I'll first off want to place the stove in here because I can kind of get the idea better on how to place the cabinets while it I know that there's one that is perfectly squared and then the dimensions of these one I totally forgot to put them in so I'm just going to go in the sketch Warehouse I'm going to search for stove so let me just import this one and I'm going to delete some of the parts that we won't actually need so we'll continue we'll push this all the way through what we will also do is create a section like this and then fit over here as well and then we will create this wooden part of the cabinets so I'm going to create a quick dividing section of the surface like this I'll actually just shoot this and then push it this will need to be put backwards as it is in the image it actually does play a different so let me just divide this section first push it forward and then delete this line and let's like this for a tingular line put this forward delete this okay I'm just going to try and move a little bit more forward and faster with the modeling [Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] okay so let me see if I can get a good composition angle from this kitchen we also will need to add a floor so I will just screw this out uh first thing you want to do is make sure that the projection is set at two point perspective and then I just want to make sure I turn the sub brightness of zero and then what I will also want to do is make the fillerudes something like 60 move a little bit backwards I'm just going to create a real quick and then later on we can adjust it so it's not a big deal now what we're going to do is I'm going to try and find a dining table in the SketchUp Warehouse [Music] and then what we will need is some pendant lighting so I'm just going to use these ones these ones I believe will work fine let's move this a little bit upwards and then this one a little bit closer and now we have uh the three lights almost in the same configuration as in the image and now what I want to make sure we get correct before even moving with image I'm going to open the material editor I'm going to choose this one I'm going to make it self-illuminated let me turn this up a little bit something like this is all right I guess let me just move on and find the flooring material here uh in enscape let me try to use the herringbone one so good 13 it is I'm going to apply it onto the floor I would like to change the color uh between uh the woods on the floor as well as on the table I want to make uh the wood on the floor a bit lighter for the wood on the table I'm going to go ahead on the Escape material Library once again and I will choose this one I will make it metal on here all metal but all black and then let's see the configuration on this yes so it's freaking all right now uh let me check if I can do just a little bit of lighting configuration let's let him be a little bit upwards something like this a little bit on the left let's turn on the Luminous power turn it backwards I will also try to use some spotlights um and try to switch between the spotlights and the rectangular light in the century image so we're going to do five eggs that and then we're going to do four more vertically [Music] a little bit backwards change the angle make the beam angle as wide as possible and then let's just try and turn on the intensity so something like this I think will look all right so now we're just going to continue adding the materials onto our image let's just add a plaster because that is pretty standard we can find it pretty easily in the Escape material Library we're going to go right here I like to use plaster 04 sometimes and then we'll just apply it on this surface and on this surface uh the displacement is a little bit too much though so maybe not on the ceiling maybe for the ceiling I will try to use the plaster 03 so for the kitchen cabinets I'm not sure the exact color that is used but what I will try to do is I'll try to find a solo one and then through the material editor I will try to actually match it so right here I will need to create another surface delete it and then push it backwards so actually this now I'm just going to go ahead and apply the material all the way around [Music] foreign [Music] now we're also going to try and find another wood texture I'm actually going to go to ambiancg.com and try to find a texture on there because I feel like the wood textures and Landscape are not the best as of now let me just go and scroll through this by the way a lot of people think that I'm um I sponsor like ambient CG and a lot of these other sides that I always recommend to you guys but I was never even contacted by them or anything like that so I'm not sponsored by ambient CG or any other thing like that this one seems a little bit more suitable so let me just go and download it as a 2K jpeg now we'll import a new material in SketchUp I will go where I just put it in take this and then I'm going to apply it to these parts so okay so for this one it is much better now we definitely need to change the color of it let's make it a little bit wider let's get a little bit this side make a little bit more inches so something like this looks okay uh what we'll definitely do is we'll also add the maps on the reflections we will add the displacement real quick this is way too much let's do 0.5 oh I think we're getting closer to what we want to achieve here I believe that the image will turn out well I think I want to move on to importing off some more acetone I'm just going to go in the sketch warehouse and I'm going to import a kitchen sink I'm just going to take this one let's just give this dial I will create a gap where the sink is we'll push this part down and then what I will also try and do is let me just try and find so this one is perfect for what we need here let's rotate it over here so this is much better and then we just need finally a ventilator okay so this one is much better let's just go a little closer I'm going to pick this color and then what I will do is I'll do the metallic slider 100 and this at 40 that will go to the answer material Library once again I'm gonna go to tiles these are quite similar to the ones that are here so let's just try them real quick move them a little bit upwards something like this I will also need to change the color because obviously there's no way I will keep them that dark and this looks much better I think this looks much much better what I need to do also is turn up the specular option and maybe tone down the roughness let's try and do the normal map or maybe a displacement this placement is way too much so so like this I think I will leave them like this this is definitely better than what we had previously I will also want to make some changes on the floor material let me try the Chevron one so the Widow six let me just delete this and then apply the windows 6 from landscape I'm gonna try and make it a little bit brighter uh this doesn't look that bad actually I kind of like this one now what I will want to do is I will go and find some kitchen accessories [Music] I think there's some nice ones here uh let's go for these ones I'm going to try and find some accessories from the enscape asset Library maybe some blades something similar to that maybe just these ones so [Music] thank you [Music] now what we have to take care of is the lighting so first off why I know for sure that we will need to add on is this line light over here this will be a little bit more forward and then I'll just copy it so let's do 8x I can move this to the edge that way we don't have a better reflection and then for these lights what I like to do is I like to apply one of the colors that is here so this is warmer and it just looks nicer all along these lights what I also want to do now is I want to apply the same wood material on these chairs I also want to fade them away a little bit because the texture is just way too hard and now I want to also add a plant on this side so let me just try and choose this one and see how this will act in our scene let me just move it a little bit backwards [Music] what I want to do is maybe tone down the leaf like I don't want the leave material to be this vibrant this looks a little bit more balanced let's try to change it for this one as well 30 on this one and then I think there's a final one here this plant here is giving it a little bit more life but I think it's getting too much attention so I'm gonna put a little bit here that way it is a little bit more subtle so this will provide some shadows and some depth which I think is good uh let me try and do this rectangular light a little bit more forward and let me just see if I can change the Luminous intensity I think I want to change a little bit of the visual settings and then we will pretty much be done here the running quality will go up to ultra it will make the image in Auto contrast or we can turn on the highlights a little bit more tone down the Shadows but maybe turn up the Shadows which looks much better I think this has a more contrast and it looks better we'll do the saturation at 107. uh maybe the Shadows orbital temperature is fine at default we'll turn all of these at zero zero zero the vignette will keep it adds a little bit of more dramatic kind of subscribe to it I want to turn down this nice guy bradness Shadow sharpness we want the shadows as soft as possible I will also turn off the ambient brightness and this is pretty much it in terms of the visual setting I'm gonna go ahead in the Sketcher warehouse and I will search in recess lighting something like this works fine and then I will make white because black is just uh it just takes too much attention so let me just turn this back up I think this looks much better not what I would also believe would look good is if I had a carpet underneath the dining table I'll go to the unescape ask the fibrian once again and I will search for rug I haven't tried this one yet I think this is a new acid that they put this would look fine I guess I'll just move a little bit over here that way it doesn't catch too much attention and I believe the scene looks much better all right
