CPU Thermal Ghost - Part 2

okay follow up a video I've got uh thanks to someone in the comments of the previous video mentioned this AMD rise and master um software and check my TDC and EDC figures and you can see temperatures fine like you know 77 degrees that new thermal paste seems to be doing uh the business no problems whatsoever everything else is the green CPU power is only 86 Watts um soc10 TDC which he said does one of the things to be worried about that's like under eight percent consistently of a thousand amps anyway 100 of 180 amps where I'm like hovering consistently over 95 here I render in uh or transcoding three different videos with handbrake at the moment have been for the last 10 minutes or so um but it hasn't it hasn't restarted so yeah although I do have the cover off the side this time but um anyway oh and I did change the fan profile by the way but the fan doesn't seem to be going I'm not sure if the Fan's going faster I'd have to actually have a look at the fan uh let me have a go here but oh just to run the program yes start um does this tell me fan speed I don't know not used to this uh but yeah anyway EDC that is 100 you know 95 they're consistently over 95 so that's uh what have I got here sensor status uh just tell me my fan speed um CPU yes 78 so that matches yeah 77.5 78 degrees so no problems there oh they're they're the two fans there you go shazi one and uh CPU there so yeah 13.99 it's the same RPM so changing that fan profile didn't uh really do anything so meh and sure enough if I turn off rendering I just switched it off and we're back down to uh 10 so yeah this um EDC thing whatever the heck that is is there any help peak current limit of CPU so yeah I guess 180 amps it's the peak current so you know I I wouldn't necessarily rule out a power supply thing I mean it looks like uh the thermal paste was actually an issue because I was getting above like the 90 uh percent 90 degrees maximum uh temperature before so now I'm not um so that that's certainly made a difference but um I'm not able to reproduce it right now but I was able to after repasting it I was able to reproduce of course um the same reboot problem so yeah possibly um it's a peak current power supply thing you know aging a bit in there and their power supplies aging a bit and it can't delete you know it's X you know caps are drying out and the Ripple exceeds the uh you know the acceptable limit at the peak current or whatever so anyway I don't know tell me is that normal to be up near 100 when it's um actually going like and it's not even like CPU power it was only 80 Watts I mean it's not like it was you know it's not like doing a couple hundred Watts or something um so yeah I don't know leave it in the comments down below again no real feel for um you know what's good or bad here yeah catch you next time
