Count's Kustoms Reveals a 1970 Chevelle at SEMA 2022!

thank you thank you you guys ready everybody ready all right all right we got we got your car and uh what's really cool about this I gotta say this is true and and ghetto will tell you this too you came to us with a terrific vision and you really done your homework it came to us with a spreadsheet a dude pictures yes paragraphs and we thank you for trusting us with your vision and then you allowed us to embellish and run with it right your car's sitting right around the corner let's go we're here at SEMA this seems like he's like I have to say this yeah because we've been doing this a long time yeah we deal with tons of clients they're all great they're all wonderful in their own way amen I would build another car for this man tomorrow if he said this this is the truth we were just talking about this at the shop the other day working with you has been absolutely wonderful and I I agree you say when you want to do something else we're all over it working with you has been fantastic now hopefully you'll be smiling when you see the car I have to say that now right just in case he doesn't like it right right I'm confident about it at all because see I also went through that binder and yeah and it's all there plus do you have the spreadsheets I didn't bring them today but I do have access to them Hurst compressors we work with Hearst compressors they're phenomenal and uh the car is hiding this week 1970 SS convertible how y'all doing amen amen everybody this is Mike and Kate Warner this is their 1970 Chevelle SS convertible they have not seen this car yet we built this car from the ground up at counts Customs every bit of it when you get an opportunity please check it out not only do I recommend looking at it from the top down but there's some nice carpet there to lay on because you got to look at it from the bottom up as well check this thing out here in a minute but regardless I hope you all enjoy I can't say enough nice things about my team accounts awesome I can't wait to see this out in the sun oh man it's fantastic there's a wow the Pearl that was done on this you wanted it a little extra sparkly and it's it's a lot extra sparkly in the Sun Ryan you made it Timeless it's beautiful look at the body line just look at them I can't say enough next my fab shop especially a cat named Irish Mike yeah check out all your gaps all your lines all the all the custom touches on it all done in the Fab shop is mind-blowing scarring is so lined up straight solid time I love what you do to the interior did you do that Bob oh yeah oh man oh yeah I'm sure you saw in the passenger side already too right I had that was to say oh I'm making sure I want to see how detailed your list is versus mine sure right okay all right there you go oh my God this is beautiful man how's your lipstick oh yeah it was on the list it was on the list all right you want to tell me more about this car okay here's where we're at well first off let's start let's start with the chassis you got full Roadster shop frame and Chassis under this car so so it it looks like a 70 Chevelle but it's really a brand new modern car so your chassis is 100 brand new updated you got a fully independent suspension rear end fully independent rear end obviously the front's independent you got giant bare brakes on it the car will stop turn Corner everything that the old muscle cars were which was straight line and hang on tight this car will go like crazy but it drives like a new car you got an LS3 under the hood turn the key drive it every day you're pushing a little over 500 horsepower out of this thing now okay backed up by a 4l80 automatic overdrive transmission it's the big heavy duty trains can take all that power so your setup is something and on top of it having more horsepower than it ever had before yeah it's also a lot less weight the chassis is lighter the engine the drivetrain everything is much lighter so on top of more horses on top of better handling on top of all that it's a lighter car so it's going to go lay stem you've got rest on my air conditioning in it so all of your Creature Comforts in the inside run so much better what do we got we got Dakota Digital or the dash oh my Lord we got we got uh what Alpine kicker running stereo we've got uh we've got borlas yeah wait how many watts uh four thousand Watts there a thousand Watts let's go yeah come on Kate come on Katie come on darling get you out of here there you go absolutely absolutely check it out oh and it says Sapphire that's right oh look at that that's right oh my God brand new modern turn the key rock and roll yeah 500 horse Plus run all day long the whole engine compartment done up just like the car all your inner Fender Wells all the custom plates everything love the Chrome hinges absolutely perfect absolutely beautiful that's what we talked about should we open the trunk let's do the trunk you guys see the trunk yes fantastic you can also see how much we've tucked the bumpers right and you hit the monitors everything's hidden all of this is completed right front rear everything the lines all cut in perfect and of course Sapphire yes when I was looking for the color blue to describe Sapphire kept coming up right I said you know what this car has really become the story of our Journeys and that's why I wanted to name it that's beautiful how you feeling I'm feeling great still good everything that was on the list is on the list you got to see how it feels thank you is this all the way back yeah it's all brand new I don't know if it's all the way back okay no it goes back Mom all right cool but you don't need to go that far now what's really nice is as a tall guy yeah the placement of the seats you're down in the car you're not you're not yeah and especially with the modern seats because usually they're too big too puffy you're gonna love the placement of this you're down in it well I can already say it you can already see it yeah we were saying we were we weren't allowed to start it but what the heck [Music] [Applause] they calm down now give it a little love let's hear this [Music] No More Love I was going to ask if my neighbors were going to hear me right now thank you you know again thank you we thank you guys for trusting us with this project yeah it's your car it's your vision it's your dream we're so proud of this cool um man we got it 20 by Nine Inch reels on the front 20 by 11's on the back and everything fits and I don't know if you feel like getting down but let's get down sure this whole chassis this whole suspension everything about this thing is absolutely just gorgeous yeah we should put it up on a rack that's what I'm saying yeah that's what I'm saying this car needs to be seen in the air as much as it does on the ground okay where does the exhaust stand because I know it's it's here it just cuts off right here in the back got it yep yeah it looks beautiful it's completely hidden back there yeah thoughts I love it all right where are you gonna go with well I heard it's going to live on the beach trying to live on the beach it should this car is going to be uh it's the spring summer or an early fall car in Ocean City New Jersey and that's where she's going to reside get down brother yeah get down yeah a lot of riding around with the top down looks like a show car but it's a real car yeah the stitching is great what what is the what is the material you're used here Bob it's a European leather European leather okay and the top is this color Yes okay okay perfect oyster roaster yeah yeah one of the winter samples and uh Santa Barbara so everything everything had a beach name a beach color right a beach found right it has to this is the ocean and that is the sand that's right it took me five years to kind of think about what car it was going to be and then you know it took about a year and a half to put it together for me yeah and then you guys who are the light amen well I think you've got great taste when you came to us initially and laid out what you were looking for everything was like I love it and so for us to get behind the vision of what you see this has been this has been a fantastic build for us great we appreciate the fact that you brought your talent to it and did it so amen what do you drive it wait till you drive it I mean because it really it drives like it looks Ryan fantastic job in the sun literally the Body Lines almost turned black and all the the leading edges are super bright oh yeah super sparkly it looks like I put a bunch of Fades in it and I only did one fade I only did one fade on it and that's into the engine compartment on the top of the hood the edges of the hood I wanted that little bit of that Sapphire that one of the other samples I sent you just because it messed with your head a little bit and then the water drops yeah and then the coral drops that I did around that still in the SS format okay then you got a little cow cross right there yeah see I didn't notice these effects oh yeah when we were walking around the car on the light that makes it even jump more right yeah it's what I call the tractor beam effects you know I get people to come over to the car from across the parking lot and then they start seeing more details that way they didn't waste the trip but it literally looks like everything's kind of stacked yeah yeah it's in it yeah see the affect their Coral yeah but the whole thing just twinkles that's beautiful the edges on this car the lines the edges everything is so perfect our body shops sharpen those all the Body Lines right it's perfect we've got ceramic coat we've got Sarah coat on a lot of the parts the sill plates are cerakoted so that it's a gun coating on there so they're near indestructible it's ready for the beach yes hey everybody check this thing out check it out when you get a chance again I I want to say how proud I am of the whole team accounts Customs enjoy check it
