deadpool is going to be released on saturday and this is a drop many of us are excited for so today i'm going to share with you my market strategy for this drop and some things that you need to be thinking about starting talking about my market strategy and understanding what to look at when it comes to drops and potentially where their price could go this not only allows me to learn more about the market trends and how they move but also helps you become smarter as an investor or a collector in this space all right deadpool is coming on saturday we've seen the drops we've seen what's going to be happening we want to understand more about the character as a whole if he's popular if we should go for it what his prize could look like and more can see the deadpool as popular as a character even in the comic book world as well talking about primarily because he's so special and unique he's different than most other characters he's quirky and despite all the brutality and dark humor of his stories he's a good guy and very likable fans love characters and it's only natural that he's quite popular among comic book fans we can also see that deadpool's manga is the world's most popular marvel comic in 2021 surpassing one million views each in chapter 7 the most recent chapter that was released by the time this article was announced on march 10th of this year it had 658 000 reads already and compare that to the best-selling american marvel comic of 2020 which was wolverine won it had an estimated 196 000 copies to the shops in north america which is less than a third of what deadpool had sold this just goes to show how popular of a character deadpool really is in the comic book world but what about the movie world as well because we've seen two movies that deadpool has been a part of so far in this marvel universe so it's amazing to see that both movies were able to easily gross over 700 million each in the worldwide box office with deadpool 1 reaching 782 million in deadpool 2 with 734 million these are absolute giants and this does fit in within the top 10 of 20th century fox's best ever movies when it comes to the money that is made within a franchise for it so far this not only reiterates how popular of a character deadpool is but what we could see in this popularity when it comes to the vv drop itself someone that we're going to compare this to within this video and what we're talking about in terms of popularity is captain america now captain america's three solo movies that had released gained a 745 million worldwide box office we're speaking out deadpool 2 with one of its movies this to me not only shows that there's a massive demand for deadpool as a whole but as a character a lot of people resonate more with him when it comes to that as a character than captain america with three of the films just surpassing deadpool 2 and worldwide box office numbers let's take a look at the drop then and what we've actually got coming up on saturday well we can see that deadpool is in the christmas theme and with what we're getting and it's in a blind box format costing 50 gems for each drop now deadpool with the common has 18 666 and we can go down from here from 13 666 it's rare being 8 666 once we get to the animated one we come to 3666 and finally with the ultra animated we have the 1666 editions that is what we're looking at when it comes to deadpool when we compare this to the captain america drops we can see that 22 000 commons were made and with the secret there there were only a thousand secret errors made so there are more commons in that front but there are less secret rares when it comes to this and we're going to try to work out pricing with what i'm looking at for my strategy the first thing i want you to take note of here is what they are as characters captain america's series here isn't actually his first appearance that goes to steve rogers and the marvel mighty series so right away this captain america although in the collectible format that most of us have been used to when it comes to vv isn't actually his first appearance whereas deadpool is and when it comes to the common in what we're looking at here the commons have seen significant love as of recently with people seeing that being as the first men of what it is deadpool is not only the first appearance but the common in this drop is the only one where he has his full suit on without the christmas jumper that deadpool has you can see it's appearing in all of the rest of them other than the common even though it has the most additions here this to me is one of the most sought after the one that i'll probably be focusing on the most of even though i want to get all of these in the drop actually sold my mickey hat in order to have the gems liquid for this this is probably the one i'm going to be focusing on the most and here's why because there's so many mints for this drop people often underestimate the power of what something like this can do 18 666 months seems like a lot but when we come to 1.3 million active users it isn't that much and if we're taking the same trend as what basically every collectible has taken since the start of ebay especially when they started to sell out in under a second what we find is that in the beginning people wildly underestimate what this character can go for and sell off pretty cheap we can see this in one of the most recent examples when it comes to wonder woman with me being able to pick one up for 120 gems 15 minutes after the market had opened after the drop after that none of us have seen 120 gems since then and that's because people underestimate because of addition size even though they don't realize that 1.3 million people are on this app and there's probably about a hundred thousand going for each drop that's happening this will also be because there's four other deadpools that are being released at the same time as this common so even though there are more people are still going to underestimate that even further i see this price really plummeting down quite quickly before sharply rising back up after that this is of course if it's taking the same trends as we've seen time and time again with this i'm using past data in order to help me try to understand where this could potentially go i could be completely wrong but i'm trying to help you become a better investor in this sense and actually understand why the market does what it does what i see happening is because the common as it's full suit the only one that does have that on without the christmas jumper this one could potentially be one of the most sought after maybe even surpassing the uncommon and the rare just like spider-man common has done a few times so far with a price estimate of this i find it quite hard to do but i could see them dropping to around 90 to 100 gems quite quickly and then sharply rising back up to 200 300 over the next coming months if the trends stay the same way i want to make sure you know i don't actually know how this price is going to go i'm using these videos to help increase my knowledge and know that i've got something to look back on to see how did this actually go what were my thought processes before and if they actually followed the same trends as they had previously and this is where i take you to my favorite website of them all and that is a call me wiki now we're going to have a look at some of the other secret rares that have been released recently to see maybe where their price goes and why it potentially goes that way first off let's have a look at captain america's secret rare again we've talked about having not actually been the first ever appearance of captain america which i feel has taken him back a little bit and why his price is sitting out where he's at now in the beginning we can see it shoots up in price to around 3200 gems before decreasing heavily just under a month or so to about 1800 for price has seen a high of 2600 in november the 21st and that was just after the disney drops had happened and the market started to shoot up again we're seeing another dip before him slowly rising again to around 2200 in price when it comes to storm we've seen she started around 1450 but has slowly declined to around 910 gems after the progression has happened and if we look at spider-man we can see that when data started being collected on october the 19th spider-man has risen from around 12 999 to up to about 25 000 of the four price now remember spider-man was released on august the 7th so he has a lot more time to consolidate his price and actually start to rise supply gets driven out as more demand happens for the spider-man what i'm going to do instead is take you to thompson's spreadsheet where he can show you actually how the price moved now what we saw in the beginning with the captain america and the storm is the price shot up and then shot down after a while now it happened the same with spider-man started 2700 went down to two one two three one nine one eight one three and then people start to realize what is prices it going up to two one to nine and then we saw the shoot up from five two to seven nine and that was just over a month or so from when he was released so these trends seem to be telling us the same thing that things often shoot up and then for a couple weeks we'll slowly go down before rising again consolidating at the price storm has not been released as long as captain america can see the storm is probably acting around this area right now and maybe we'll take a sharp increase before taking another decrease in rising again we could potentially see this happening as she has took a steady decrease from her 1450 high all the way down to 910. a sharp increase from maybe about 100 to 200 with her before going back down again and then maybe starting to slowly rise just purely because there's more people buying her and less people selling her what do i think this will do when it comes to deadpool then well we can see that storm sits at around 910 gems captain america about 2200 and spider-man at 25 000 now storm and spider-man are both fa but storm really isn't as popular it feels more popular than captain america when it comes to the box office and comic books but probably less popular when it comes to spider-man as a worldwide superhero so i can see deadpool's secret rare sitting in between the middle of these two maybe consolidating around four to six k gems in the beginning and then slowly rising from there but again i could be wrong from all this analysis it does seem that deadpool is an extremely popular character and for me personally i'm gonna be trying to get the whole set in the coming weeks after this release and especially with the release of coca-cola we may even see a quick sell-off of those to make sure they have the gems ready for the coca-cola drop happening next week and this could be one of your best ways to get into deadpool at the best price that you possibly can if you're looking to do so i'm more likely going to be focusing on the common after i've purchased all the rest of the set because that one has the full suit and is often the one they make the most sought after because it is potentially the coolest looking if that's the way you want to put it we have fa deadpool over 1.4 billion in worldwide box office and one of the most popular comic book characters that there are especially in 2021 so could we be seen one of the most popular characters being dropped on saturday i
