Cort Sends a Guitar to This Street Musician

oh hi one person who watches all my videos it's me one person who makes all the videos that you're watching i have no i have no idea where this came from but i found it in my po box there was no letter or secret message with it but i decided to wear it for today's unboxing video this is a box and inside of it you know what it is it's a guitar [Music] it travels very long and very far and i'm very interested in trying this out it came from court with respect for tradition and history we look toward the future share our vision dot dot dot dot dot so court and i they got we got in touch with each other and they're like hey we have this guitar it's a cool guitar you want to try it out and play it on the street and i'm like hmm i'll try it out i look at the specs on the website very good specs and the guitar itself is under 1 000 and i'm like really you put all these good specs in the guitar under 1 000 because normally when you like uh to get those kind of specs the price goes up okay it's a second box environment first protect a sea turtle get rid of your car today so since i'm basically a street musician i'm like okay that could be a cool cool thing you know a very versatile good spec guitar for under a thousand dollar and there are very many other street musicians in the world that could benefit from knowing of the existence of such guitar how about i be a test out person to test out such such guitar and now we're gonna see it and then we're gonna hear it on the street not in the studio not on the couch not in a laboratory environment but we're going to make music with an instrument where it truly matters on the street i think that's the ultimate test of any kind of musical instrument can you make people stop and listen can you capture their attention with a guitar guitar it's light i see a tremolo arm we are in give me the tremolo arm oh and screws to adjust it this is perfect okay oh no i'm throwing debris around this is what happens when you live in the florida jungle where do you put anything so i'll put this i'll put this next to my working desk and this is my office here i'm a florida street musician living in florida jungle so okay this is nice dude this is great this is it's five-way switch it's two hum buckers but it has five-way switch check this out these are these are seymour duncan pickups in the neck and in the bridge seymour duncan and here we are in the street did you like that transition so i just got done playing on the street one of those nights and i was playing this song this i was playing this guitar okay listen it's almost midnight okay and i played on the street for a very many hours very many songs for very few people and with this guitar this is court uh seven x seven hundred duality i think that's the official name and i don't know how i'm gonna edit this video so i don't know if you already heard me play it or you about to hear me play it uh with this guitar but i'm really impressed i'm i'm really impressed okay i i deliberately looked for a guitar with these specs by any of the other companies any of the other companies that i've worked in the past or am familiar with or i know that they produce quality instruments or whatever i literally and help me out in the comments if you can find something like this under one thousand dollars i couldn't find it and here are the list of specs in combination that i could not find at this price point to get this much of a guitar stainless steel frets 24 frets recess tremolo the angled headstock which enables you not to have string trees if you have a tremolo that is not locking nut you need not to have string trees because it reduces friction points locking tuners okay and uh and uh two humbuckers with five-way switch and you'll hear in the playing bit where i'm switching between the pickups so in this position in the neck position this humbucker right here two outer coils i think i could be if i'm mixing it up check out the description in the middle two humbuckers the second position two inner coils or the other way around okay and then the first position is the bridge pickup volume tone i can do a dive bomb okay i'll lubed the nut i changed the strings i took the the the truss round adjuster plate off because i adjusted the truss rod i changed the strings from it came with tens i put nines on i lowered the action i lowered the saddles this bridge is like closely resembles what you'll see on the usa stratocaster which is like mind-blowing you know it's like and i can do a full dive bomb look look at these strings i can go i can go up and it's still in tune i mean maybe it's not very audible for you right now but it's going to be in the video so court man i'm really surprised i'm i'm really impressed this is like literally their flagship they like threw everything together in one guitar all the spec wise because i couldn't find it the closest one was chevelle but chevelle has string trees and it's always a problem with teeing to have string trees okay and they threw all all the specs then not only they had you know the the courage to through all the best specs it's unique finish they have the courage to do something different like this unique line sort of like flame maple blue here and then like transparent natural maple i mean i have you seen a guitar like that pretty
