Corn planting 2021 #1

well we're finally getting something done with ground working alex she's leaving right now to go chisel plow she doesn't even know i'm recording her alex you got anything to say before you [Music] start i still got some other stuff to do on mine and i'll head down later but she's going she's full of fuel everything's set up and we'll start working some ground [Music] i finally got mine all ready and a couple last things to fix on it um got it fueled up now we're headed to inusburg where alex is at didn't even get to clean up my windows whatever well we've been chiseling for good hours maybe not an hour i don't know we've been going around the outside of one second of course there you go alex he's over there we kind of went around the field i think four times and then uh i kind of made my own line up the middle and then we kind of just bring it over to the exact same way as the plants try to at least and that's how we do it a little chisel flow it's not the biggest you wonder why it's so small because they were cheap and uh we only have to work ground for like six to seven days out of the whole year so out of six to seven days of the year these two little chisels do just good enough for us it gets the job done okay i'm trying to record and i can't stay following my line really splitting the field up she's doing her own thing now she's waving we're pottering along well looks like i'm getting kicked out of this tractor um if you can see the little 84 is over there and when we get over there i'll show you why but we got most of this done anyways right here on this side just a little couple things right there are right there that's a better way to point alex no i don't want to give my comments it's a bad day second tractor of the day second tractor of the day well the 82. i know that one's fine but yeah it's fine but that was nothing serious but it's not my fault though if you really like you know you said too much when you left this morning i did i did i was like it's going way too good anyways um she was chis-a-plowing back there at the very end and then it started puffing blue smoke out from here and um what ended up happening is you have your exhaust and muffler all crap in here and right here on the 90 where this little pipe comes through i need a flashlight it blew a hole [Music] it blew a hole right there oh shoot right there and that right there with running it hop with chisel plowing um heated up the heat guard right here and it melted the plastic because the plastic actually ended up sliding all the way down to here so i blew a hole through our tank and you got diesel right here and the diesel is getting so hot it started smoking blue luckily tractor didn't catch on fire all right so we got a bunch of work to do chris has bringing the 82 down we have to now take this home she was complaining that she'd have enough traction so now she's got duels i guess so we'll see no she's going to take mine because she doesn't want to drive the 82. she break three today oh there's something to my eye anyways we're gonna take the bucket bracket off and then we're gonna take this off and then we have to take the heat shield guard off and then we'll see what we got going on and maybe we can fix the tank somehow well i already bought some i already bought some repair stuff okay so we're going to try to fix the hole and then we also have to figure out how we're going to fix this in here because this all opens up fix the main problem so yeah we're about five hours into day one and got a five-hour project we've got a five-hour project on fixing the first tractor so nice and fun but yeah and then they'll be in yeah good thing this is day one and we're not going too serious we're trying to just test everything what we're testing but yeah i just gotta grab my trap out of the tractor you okay just cause the tractor's down don't mean you gotta hurt yourself but yeah she's gonna take my tractor yeah wish i wish she didn't chris sauce should be coming any minute so what alex she doesn't want to drive the 8250 but she doesn't want to drive it because she wants the cvt transmission yep yeah i love that i'm going to go off definitely the best transmission ever made see the big hands down no there's no debate is there a bad night at the it's all presets in this thing which is nice yeah it's just the top one and the first lever is uh up and down up and down and then all right we're going to wait for stop christos here with the tractor all kristoff he doesn't chisel plow really ever he always cleans but he's here right now and he's uh puttering on it yeah i gotta grab my stuff that wasn't my tractor so yeah the reason the fender's off of this on this side is because it gets very hot with the exhaust stuff there when it's chiseling and hairling mainly because she's running hot and he definitely runs hot here um taking it off it pretty it runs pretty good it doesn't really get hot anymore because the air can flow into the engine bay and everything so we just take it off and yeah you'll be fine we ain't planting today [Music] [Music] so [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] uh [Music] it's [Applause] [Music] y'all you tracker right kristoff he's eating his butt [Laughter] he's really hammering the mcdonald's anyways we're going to show you something amazing this is this the fuel tank you're not supposed to be able to put your hand in there right yeah so this is our plan um they had to cut this out because it was all bubbly i'm guessing because i wasn't here yeah so they cut it out and now they're going to glue another piece of plastic here with some special glue it's a diesel resistant um glue so hopefully that works you can see right here like where it heated it up as well but we're gonna leave that alone yeah this is where our leaking was coming from so we're hoping we have to get more glue tomorrow we didn't they had a it had it on there but they didn't have enough so yeah they took it back off and then tomorrow they're gonna get more this right here this is uh this is kind of how it's at like i don't know one of these ways it was over here but there was this finger hole yeah it's supposed to be like a quarter inch thin but like everything melted down into like a blob well that's nice yeah so yeah our nice uh diesel tank is now like a nice hole and then this is just the first problem then we gotta fix the exhaust too but this is more important right now you can always straight bite it right you can always straight back you can always straighten it as long as it doesn't hit the tank anyways that'll get fixed in the morning hopefully that diesel glue will work because honestly we need the tractor we need the tractor all right so this is the heat shield that more actually burnt it but whatever that'll go back on after um [Music] we got all the niece and nephews here they're my parents yeah this is now off so the main hall is here i could stick my hand right in there so that's it was blowing because your exhaust comes from the engine here and then it was blowing out here instead of going up the muffler so yeah we'll have to fix that worst case scenario kristoff we straight pipe it and let her out chisel plow all right that'll be it for this video kill the next one hopefully we have better news in the next video
