berkeley council in west virginia we out there today county sheriff curtis keller for allowing us to give you this look into a day in the life of a law enforcement officer this episode will feature a traffic accident a traffic stop a search for a man with warrants and a violation of a protective order law enforcement oh we got multiple good calls in this one bro sit back relax y'all we about to get right into it let me move forward some [Music] and we're back with popular demands okay and um apparently this gentleman pulled in and parked and then opened his door really super hard and hit my car and then laughed and got back in his car and drove away to he is kind of crooked look how he part right now super crooked bro i can't stand the people who part cricket because if i pull in the parking spot and you next to me and you crooked all along i'm backing out that parking spot find it somewhere else because i know i'm gonna come outside to some madness what's that what you you can take a step over there for me man and um so then why would you leave why would you leave then come on man keep it real why would you leave exactly you knew what you did um so [Music] y'all see that damage right there to his car if that's from hitting her car bro that wasn't no light tap that's some damage that i'd be mad about too if that did that to his i'm waiting on this cop to move out the way so we can see what happened is this damage already here oh okay he said it was already there but it looked like a scratch on her joint too though all right [Music] you see like the streak right there and like his paintballing was like and i'm seeing he's like [Music] right there [Music] thank you all right do y'all believe that him saying he didn't realize he hit the car now that that can thing and they'll contact our sheriff's office get a copy of the report all right i never lived here well i don't want to put your address on there for him to have all of that will be attached on the cat so i don't have i don't have any of his phone number or anything his insurance his insurance [Music] now to my understanding i don't think she can get his information like that because they don't want you harassing that person so the sheriff's department will probably have all his information just in case he try to skip out or whatever but you have his insurance information you know what i'm saying so you can file your claim and do different things like that you know that's why i'm thinking why neither one of them get each other's information because somebody you know he could give him her information he could be pissed about this whole thing happening and run up to her house or her dress and you know what i'm saying and do something to her so you don't want to be giving out or divulging somebody's personal information to either party yeah just watch out behind you good [Applause] [Music] okay all right once again not trying to make you feel like oh you very much thank you very much and um i absolutely do not appreciate it at all um i parked the park there were empty spots all around me a man comes and parks next to me hits my car looks in laughs at my kids sits back in his car and goes out and my son who's 15 has to run on route 11 to catch him and bring him back and you treat me like i'm the criminal so you know what i absolutely did you i'm appalled at that you want me to explain my behavior or now you already did okay i was going to try to have a conversation with you that's hilarious go right ahead okay if if if it's going to be beneficial i will if you don't want to hear anything i have to say then and that's fine i'm just trying yo this came completely left field where did this all come from oh he said i did not i i caught wind of it earlier but i thought you know something quick go by this just exploded trying to talk to you and explain you why i did what i did is that something you want to see or no if not listen okay so i could tell that you're upset yes listen so she had to say a statement first and he was just free to listen but she wasn't that's why she's mad okay she has every right to eating you see that right yes he wasn't interrupting her but what makes you think that she's gonna interrupt him okay so i should have separated you from the beginning but as soon as i heard her statement i knew there was going to be disagreement between parties i knew there was going to be a scream i knew he wasn't going to agree with the way the situation went so i took him to the side and he gets into his side so no one who actually was a witness could justified i have three statements from you but only one from him how am i taking sides you had a daughter in the car yeah correct so then how am i taking sides i have more savings from y'all than him but what i'm saying is he couldn't have backed up anything he said because you took him over there and he heard our first name he couldn't back up what no that's all right oh do you understand how the the the secretary the statements are separate this is called discrimination and it's fine how do you figure it out i took your statements and i took his all right what wait he says you did has nothing to do aside and when i came over to listen because you gave him that luxury with my statement you told me to get over there like i was a damn criminal didn't yell at you oh my god give me a break and did i not come back over and ask him again while he was separated what happened did i not do that did i not afford him the same luxury the person who actually saw did i not afford him the same opportunity i did correct the point is is that you did not allow me to hear what he said happened okay i still don't know that how does that how does my car was involved in a accident that i did wasn't even that possible if you if you hear i and i agree with that oh my god i agree that you're not at fault and he was told that but how does you hearing what he has to say affect my investigation how does him hearing what i have to say affect your investigation that's why i took him back over there all right and i asked him again all right and i came back over here and i asked you all again okay if i'm the cop bro i'm just i'm done like he's not gonna get it through i kind of get what he was trying to do he was trying to defuse the situation it was late on it and he's you know what i mean he realized that but he was trying to defuse the situation by getting person on the other side and she felt like no you let him listen to our conversation why can't i hear his it's kind of like elementary when you think about it he hurt my side i didn't hear his you let him do this you didn't let me do this can we grow up is all i'm saying you know what i mean i get it tempers up it's let's let's get to a resolution get this call over with it should not be dragging out this long you know what i'm saying he's even taking the courtesy of explaining himself now y'all can both agree to disagree but what y'all are doing right now is not getting each other anywhere anywhere agree to disagree you file your complaint if you feel like the officer treated you unfairly that's what those complaints are for now whether or not they do something with the complaint it's still out of your control it's still out of your control so this is going nowhere though it's entertaining but it's going nowhere so you both had the opportunity to say what happened without each other being there did i not did i not you asked in front of both of us i for me for my statement doing the right thing even the person on the phone said did the guy try to leave a note no no he tried to drive away and my child had to run out into the middle of the road to catch him and you know what your answer to me was do you want to know what your answer to me was he did came my god he came back because he went again okay i can't so tell me what would have happened tell me what would have happened if my son didn't run after him right then okay what would have happened if you would have left you would have to call in give a vehicle description all right we find him and then he gets treated as a hit and run oh i'm sure now i i agree with her right there bro to be angry about that part you know what i'm saying for your child to have to run out in the street now i wouldn't have my child running out in the street number one for for that you know what i mean if you can get them get them if not then don't risk your safety to try to catch somebody for that you know what i'm saying now i do i think if he got away they'd have found him no because if you ain't got a tag or you somebody got a camera out there hopefully that they'll look at and they're probably not gonna find that person and she would've just had to contact her insurance company now i agree with her for that but the rest of it my bad okay so it's very sad to me that my children have to witness have had witness to this right here because for someone who was shopping in an aldi store my kid has to run in and say someone just hit your car and tried to run away and he gets treated like he's he's privacy and i get pushed back to the side sorry this isn't good bro she doesn't try to leave this at least she'll probably try to leave at least 10 times right now she doesn't close that door that front passenger door probably about 20 times like would you leave everybody gonna have to pay for what this cop just went through everybody next about to get it bro i hate it for the next people to get pulled over right about you're moving [Music] and i was already doing about 74. so it's fine you have your less registration insurance on you here's my license uh i just had the car details so that's less than this okay do you have any weapon firearms or anything like that in the vehicle okay if you'd like to no that's fine where's that don't don't grab for it just okay it's under there yeah okay i'm just number speed he was going it ain't like he hit him off of a radar or nothing so i didn't know they do that let's learn something new we have uh 50 off for all first responders at the pizza place up uh in cushwa uh there's a pizza place called rad pies it's in cushwa brewing which is up in williamsport okay uh i am the pizza shop there and uh all first responders get 15 off awesome [Music] from the ex-fiance now um now [Music] [Music] he went i know everybody is informed they don't call them so she slashed his tires or he slashed hers or both it sounded like she slashed his tires if i don't understand it's correct we just came in on the tail end of it there but yeah it sounds like there's some type of visible altercation and then she slashed his tires and then left sound like somebody said oh hello ma'am did you happen to see someone running through your yard within the last 10 or 15 minutes it's going to be a white male with gray shorts no um if you do which might give us a call sure i appreciate it yeah what direction from from up this end most likely between you and and their residents up there back back these woods just if you see them just call it appreciate it all right 29th this was last night well this was today at midnight don't have contact in it [Music] he was went to jail got out threatened me what are you going to jail for breaking the no contact order have you have you recorded any of that already or yeah okay yeah they all they know um my talk you know probably know the ray voice the money pretty much handled everything and then um got out [Music] threatened me the last couple days 18 hours later sent me a message pretty much calling you and i'll get you back but back to jail for a week got back out went on home confinement and people braced him on and left me alone for a while and then last night it's at this point now if they don't do something bro she could end up dead bro look how many times she didn't file uh a complaints restraints whatever whatever order she has to file kept documentation he's went to jail got out in a few hours went to jail got out in a week still doing the same thing like if they don't do something bro she could end up dead [Music] harassment pretty much harassment um and then he has another there's another charges in montgomery county for revenge oh [Applause] oh bro she got everything documented everything like that's the way it's supposed to be bro he on his way to jail i don't have a copy the last time i gave it the last thing when i spoke to him last questions they have it on file because they even the last copy [Music] i don't think so all right that's good thank y'all wow berkeley county sheriff's department live that was a great live bro i like that they should all officers should be willing to do this man ride along see what they go through on a day-to-day basis man see the type of calls they experience see what type of things they have to deal with you know what i mean and
