[Music] hi i'm phillip lemoyne and one of my favorite things to do on a saturday or sunday morning is to make a big breakfast for me and my family and that always includes eggs depending on our mood we might go for scrambled fried or even make an omelet or frittata no matter your mood or your favorite way to eat this great protein i'm here to show you how the ninja foodie never stick cookware is the perfect companion to help you get the perfect egg every time the beauty of these pans is that there is no need to add oil or butter the never stick technology ensures a never stick release every time so first i'm going to show you how to fry the perfect egg now i'm going to show you how to do this without any oil but if you'd like a little extra flavor adding a little bit of butter olive oil or vegetable oil is perfectly fine just steer clear of spray oils as those will stick to your pan and eventually make it sticky aerosol sprays burn at lower temperatures and the burning can leave invisible residue that can build up and lead to sticking so to start we're going to need the ninja foodie never stick 10 and a quarter inch fry pan and one large egg the line i'm using today is the ninja foodie never stick premium line but ninja offers many other lines that you can choose from to fit your cookware budget and needs place the pan on your stovetop burner and preheat on medium high heat preheat times vary depending on the type of oven range that you have if you have a gas stove top preheat your pan for two to three minutes have an electric burner four to five minutes should do the trick if you have an induction stovetop these pans will work for you too you want the pan hot but you don't want to let it sit empty on your stovetop for too long an easy way to check if your pan is ready is to sprinkle it with a few drops of water and you should hear a nice sizzle remember proper preheating is necessary to prevent sticking next crack the egg into the pan and let it cook for at least 1 minute and 30 seconds up to 2 minutes until most of the whites have set using a spatula carefully flip the egg over and cook it for an additional minute to set the whites this will give you a nice over easy runny yolk i love these pans because i can use any type of spatula to flip my egg even a metal spatula if you prefer a firmer yolk cook for an additional one to two minutes fried eggs are one of the most challenging proteins to cook because they can stick to the pan so easily that's why this ninja foodie never stick pan is so essential to getting that perfectly cooked egg again and again next let's talk scrambled eggs scrambled eggs are one of my favorites and i love to throw in a little cheese or veggie sometimes to add some extra flavor to start you're going to need the ninja foodie never stick ten and a quarter inch fry pan three large eggs and some kosher salt and ground black pepper place the pan on the burner and again we're going to preheat the pan on medium to medium high heat for about 3-4 minutes while your pan preheats whisk your eggs in a bowl until they are completely blended pour the whisked eggs into the preheated pan remember it's very important to add the eggs into a hot pan to achieve never stick results then use a rubber spatula to lift the solid edges of the eggs and push them towards the center tilt and swirl the pan around at a slight angle to expose the liquid egg to the hot surface repeat this frequently from different directions until there's no more liquefied egg then begin breaking up the scramble quickly turn the undercooked areas and keep the scramble moving to make sure all surfaces are cooked evenly remove the pan from the heat when the eggs are about 90 to 95 percent done or when the eggs appear to be almost dry this will yield a moist scramble you can cook for longer for your desired scramble a little bit of residue is normal to see in the pan but look how easy cleanup is if you're not in the mood for fried or scrambled eggs an omelette may be just what you're looking for now with this recipe we'll be using a little bit of butter to add another level of flavor to our eggs this also helps create that outer crust that's seen on most omelets this recipe will include a little bit of cheese in the middle but you can also add any of your favorite cooked meats or saute veggies to start you'll need the ninja foodie 10 and a quarter inch fry pan three eggs one tablespoon of water one tablespoon of unsalted butter and two tablespoons of shredded cheese you can use mozzarella cheese cheddar cheese or pepper jack but today i'm gonna go with cheddar we'll also have some kosher salt and black pepper to taste first make sure to preheat the pan place the pan on the stovetop over medium to high heat for 4 minutes next place the butter into the pan and let it melt in a shallow bowl whisk the eggs with the water and add kosher salt and pepper to taste once the butter is melted pour the whisked eggs into the preheated pan and let them cook for about 30 seconds using a rubber spatula lift the solid edges of the omelet and push them towards the center then tilt and swirl the pan at a slight angle to expose the liquid eggs to the hot surface repeat this frequently from different directions until there is no more liquefied egg let the omelet cook for about another minute untouched then top one half of the egg with your cheese using a spatula lift the edge of the omelet without the filling and fold it in half remove the pan from your soap top and slide or lift the omelet off the pan onto your serving plate now if you find that your eggs are sticking to your pan it's most likely that the pan wasn't preheated long enough before the eggs were added this pan has professional gauge aluminum for even cooking and heat retention which may lead to longer preheat times than you are used to however the result is a durable forgiving pan that cooks consistently again and again we think the weight is worth it and we hope you do too and thanks to the ninja foodie never stick cookware i can not only enjoy my eggs in many ways but cleanup is a breeze no stick on egg mess to worry about at all i can wipe the pan clean and fry up another egg and then give them a full clean by placing them directly in the dishwasher it's so simple it makes my busy life a lot less hectic with one less mess to clean
