hey there so in this tutorial I'm going to show you how you can convert excel data and import it into MS Access database first open your ms access then click on file tab and then click on blank out of this to click that change the name of file name here you can name it something like Excel import T and then save it somewhere where you want to find it click on create now you have your default table here you can close it now click on create tab and you have options for adding new table or table where you can use share purchased or design here on your own also there is option interact external data where you input from external sources like Excel another Access database and ODBC data will leave what we see for later for now click on Excel get external data Excel spreadsheet now I have this excel sheet on my desktop called addresses can check that one okay this is my addresses spreadsheet and I have this up to 13 entries into it let's go back to the exits and import this file now we have option for importing source data into tables in the current database or link to the data source by creating a link table for now we will just import it click on OK now we can check which is the heading by clicking on the column first row contains column headings we must first address city state and zip this looks exactly like our acceptable now you can click on next verify the field options check the data day if it wants to be indexed okay you can add primary key here so for future increase it will automatically increment it and you can map it for creating queries and manipulating this data let access and primary key keep this option on or you can create your own if you don't have this field you can pair it as customer ID okay or no primarykey you want to have the data assets and click on next in both to number one or you can have differently for now I'm using name as is click on finish and university will be in oddity now you can just select this or double click it okay all the data from the excel sheet here is successfully imported into your MS Access database so this is how the import for Excel - - axis works I hope you find this useful and if you have any questions regarding the steps or have any questions regarding William feel free to let me know and I will address them in future tutorials thank you
