Connect Your PS2 to a TV in 2023 | PS2 TO HDMI

so you want to play your ps2 on a modern tv you may have seen one of these it's a cheap ps2 to hdmi converter yeah this thing was like eight quid i'll show you how to set it up see if it works and the sort of picture quality you can expect right i need to get ps2 hang on [Music] so you just need to make sure you select the correct video mode if you're not able to connect your ps2 to a tv with a composite input i'll leave instructions in the description as to how you can select the correct mode without being able to see the screen and this is the dongle comes with a usb cable so you plug one end into the dongle and the other end into the front usb of your playstation and it fires right up brilliant so just test out a few games here i'm gonna go with the burnout first of all and it works great the interlacing will be dependent on your tv or monitor and as the image they sent either interlaced or progressive you can see coming artifacts here on the road in burnout and more evidently in dead or alive too i'll try this in 60hz as well check that out yeah so the combing artifacts here you can see across the entire image this clip here is with the insulating on so this is the raw capture but the interlaced as you can see it's perfect runs at 60 frames a second no complaints at all yeah i mean overall i'm pleasantly surprised um it's definitely worth eight quid it does the job the picture's obviously a bit fuzzy you know you've blown up a 480i 480p image to you know 1080p the picture is just a little bit dark you can make the adjustments on your tv and fix that no problem but one of the biggest issues and i'll show you hang on is the usb cable if you want to sit your playstation 2 up right like this look it sticks on the bottom here you know out the box you're gonna have to sit down like that which isn't ideal for everyone yeah i hope you found this video useful if you did give me a like subscribe to the channel i do other video game stuff not just ps2 adapters so have a look and you might find something you like all good everyone stay safe right i'm done [Music] you
