about your house if you're not registered to vote you can't sit on a jury you can't choose your mayor you can't choose your city council you can't even choose your district attorney you can't decide which measures will help your family and which will put them at risk democracy is not a sham it's a job it's our job and it took too long to get it to just let it fly you say vote because there are very critical dates as we here in georgia are preparing for a super important hypercritical senate runoff election in january is january the 5th that is the day y'all that is the day that we gotta flip one mo time that is the date of our senate runoff election and we need for you to have a plan to either have already voted on the 5th of january or to go vote on the 5th of january many of us are exhausted from this year but we just have one more push that we have to make so that we can flip this senate so i know that we can do it make your plan and go to blackchurchrocks.org once again that's limited series in this series i'm going to be sharing reflections of my experience that i had while on the 2020 souls to the polls bus tour this tour was hosted by michael mcbride and the black church pack and it was like going to church you guys your vote is not a gift to the elected official it is a gift to yourself and to your family to the people that you love for those of us who are concerned with freedom and liberation like yes protests yes i'm not willing to take any tool off of the table in pursuit of liberation and freedom for my people and for myself and my family and my community i want you to find your neighbor wherever you are family members i want you to remind them who they are i just want you to shout out somebody say neighbor i'd like to introduce myself tell them my name is victory come on everybody let's lift up that praise hey come on come on rock like a church why everybody come up we're taking it [Music] hey come on everybody say i've got evidence is everybody confidence come [Applause] my name is let everybody know who you are [Music] is my name is victory everybody is what's your name victory everybody [Music] most championships are one in the fourth quarter and that's where we are with just 24 hours left on the scoreboard it's not tied we're about to win we've got amazing leadership at the helm and i'm excited 2020 has blown atlanta away in terms of leadership look what we've lost we've lost the honorable john lewis reverend ct vivia we've lost uh dr lowry but look at what benjamin elijah may said for many years at morehouse strong men just keep on coming we've got two men who are coming to make a difference and make an impact the reality is all of us found out this year you can still make a touchdown after you've been tackled there's been a whole lot of blockers those who are trying to block us from getting stimulus block us from getting tested block us from getting health care but i'm so thankful that we've got two men who refuse to drop the ball on our community our nation and even on the next generation whatever it is that you have to do be mindful of what frederick douglass told us many years ago he said i got more prayers answered when i got off my knees the black church pack is not just praying but we're getting off our knees and we're marching to the polls here's what i need you to do get on the phone i need you to get on social media text every person you know and tell them tomorrow is the final play we've got to go vote we've got to make a difference we've got to improve our nation and i'm believing by faith that this time tomorrow we'll all be dancing in the end zone because america will be great for the first time hey look i recorded a song a while back that encouraged so many people and i really want to share it today it's a song that reminds us that in spite of what you're going through we serve a god that not only loves us but that can bring us back it's a song entitled broken recorded it live other people people people people heal me from people people help me forgive people people help me to serve people people help me to love people oh even crazy people people trolling people people self-righteous people people internal people people hating people coughing people disrespectful people but forgive me when i'm one of [Music] those [Music] me georgia we just came through let's do it again on january 5th for the country and for the culture here's what's at stake in these senate runoff elections one a new senate majority could give america a raise fifteen dollars an hour minimum wage nationwide coaching it's about time two a new senate majority can work to get cobit under control provide more support for black families and businesses and pass major economic relief three protect the planet literally new leaders in the senate can fight back on climate change and create good paying clean energy jobs stay focused georgia you got this voting starts december 14th and election day is january 5th vote early if you can [Music] so this next song is not my song but it's my song if you know what i mean it's something that i know to be true in my life and that is god
