that was crazy like i was gonna cry i'm like man you got to take it easy but i just for that reason alone is the reason why i feel like god sent me so that people will just not give up keep going and that he tells them to rest on the seventh day and to give them a sabbath because god doesn't need to rest but he does that so that they can understand something because what have they been doing for the last 400 years they've been working what is their identity wrapped up in working their whole identity is wrapped up in being a slave and even after they were removed from egypt they still had a slave mentality it took a minute for them to really understand what freedom look like see you can remove somebody from slavery in an instant but it takes a lifetime to get slavery out of the person so today we're talking about what freedom really looks like see i've been set free i'm no longer a slave to the old me i'm now free in christ [Music] we've been having fun all day and now i think it'll favor on my life that were throwing darts at me like crazy right they were just trying to tear me down any chance i get because he he added to the fire because he always was helping me and he was always like the hand of god is on your life the hand of god is on your life and blah blah and of course that just made them hate me more they were just like who does he think he is you know and he came out of nowhere he'd been playing baseball his whole life he can't sing like us he can't do like us we've been doing this thing forever and he just kept on pouring gasoline on me getting and i'm telling him i said man i'm not really from the church i want to whoop all of them period i flat out told him a million times i said man listen man if you don't get your people get your people man i'm gonna hurt him one at a time i was good with it and he's like man yeah you got to chill drew you got to chill out i said man listen man i said i don't know how to just pray yet i hadn't figured that part out i know that we can fight sort this thing out you know what i mean the lord is still working on me huh y'all be seeing me on the back it's just in case you hear what i'm trying to tell you i got a wife for kids i got to do what i got to do to protect this house you know what i'm saying father forgive me because i know not what i do yes i do okay i quit i quit but that that is really i didn't really delve into that part of the story but man that part that persecution was tough on me because i learned how to shut my mouth and allow god to take me where he was taking me to [Music] and he told me recently he said man i'm so proud of you because i even watch the way you respond to people now and it's different it's different i used to be so quick to just say man the only way to sort this out is violence i was so look he's not kidding i mean he know i'm not playing you know that was the only thing i knew you know my brother is in here somewhere my older brother and that's because he used to you know beat me up when you know and i was it's like i'm not taking this no more when i leave this house tori you in here somewhere he he he beat me up one time because i refused to clean his shoes when you know i had worn them out and then i got back and then i refused to clean them and and i said i'll clean i'm tired i'll clean him in a minute and he you know pumpkin head i gotta had a big forehead and he hit me punch me in the face all of that and and i never forgot it i said i'm not gonna be allowing that to happen to me i'd like to be on the other side of that thing so but i'm the reason why you can't obtain that thing that god said is because you've made up in your heart and in your mind that if god is going to do it he's going to do it like you think he's going to do it there was a man at the at the pool of bethesda 38 years 38 years of watching everybody get the thing he wanted the most coming to service after service musical after musical revival after revival watching somebody else get the thing his heart desires the most in one day his answer shows up jesus comes he sees this man in his condition and he says hey you the one that's been waiting 38 years for a miracle do you wanna i know you're shouting but do you wanna i know you crying but is is that because your neighbor is crying or do you still want it dude i know i know you coming to church i know you're serving i know you're watching online but do you still after all of these years do you still want it do you do you want to be made whole and instead of just saying yes yes lord i want to yeah yeah of course i want to be whole he gives hear me he gives an excuse for his condition instead of just saying yes he gives an excuse by the way for the way he is the way he is and when i read that i said man he had a lack of faith it was because he just couldn't believe and the lord said to me todd it wasn't the fact that he had a lack of faith because it doesn't take a whole lot of faith the bible says it takes the faith the size of a mustard seed can move it doesn't take a whole lot of faith his problem was doubt his issue was for 38 years he thought that if god is going to heal me it's gonna look like that if god is gonna deliver me it's gonna be me getting in this water and when i get out of the water i'll be whole but what if god wants to do it in your life another way [Music] if you are holding him to how he did it for your mama and he wants to do it for you differently you're going to miss it if you're going to hold him to how he did it for your neighbor last year you're going to miss it but what if god yes you sweetheart what if god wants to do it in your life like he's done it in no one else's life ever before what if god wants to do something in your marriage that he's never done in any other marriage but if you are holding him to an idea of how you think it should happen you are going to miss your opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime miracle i'm here to tell you today to take him out of that box that you put him in and to tell him god however you want to do it my response would just be yes if you want to heal me in the grocery store yes if you if you want to do it in the bathroom at my job yes if you want to do it in my living room while i'm watching on youtube yes whatever it looks like i take you out of every box i'll take you out of how i think it should happen i take you out god i know how you get it from my cousin i know how you did it for my nephew i know how you did it for my grandma but god do it in me and whatever that looks like my response will be yes yes yes can you just fill this room with yes yes lord yes lord yes lord it may hurt but yes it may be i may feel alone for a season but yes i may have to walk away y'all what the lord has done for us all right um we have we have about 200 clients a month already that want music recorded for them and i know that that's in this room the reason why i'm saying is that because it was mentioned earlier that some of you like were people that felt like you couldn't reach your destiny or like you're like i want to actually minister to people i want to write songs i doing is my band is actually going to be recording recording most of the songs for the different artists so you know they smack right isn't that crazy so okay so we i i'm going to tell you how it went down okay we were sitting at lunch me and aaron we were sitting at lunch and i started like i'm starting to get this idea of like i said dude everywhere that i go people are like todd how do like how do i do what you do and i was sitting there and i said bro i know all the producers across the world i know all the singers across the world why don't we just put something together that allows them to connect with all of these producers all of these band members and then we set it up so they record they don't have to think about anything they just share the vision with us we take it to the band the band plays it and then we send it back to them they record they send it to us we all of this happens from the house you understand and so um i'm offering that to you guys i want you guys to just on and said we'll do it and ever since then y'all hear them they big now they they got big names now everybody wanted but before they went nobody they is that they were so humble now they're not humble no more but i gotta pay them a lot now but i want to start right there and say thank you to them just because you guys are looking at them right now and then i also want to say thank you to my
