- Yo, what's up guys, welcome back. I just got back from a trip to Bermuda where we shot the trailer for the V3's, which I'm so, so stoked about. It's turning out amazing, I can't wait to show you guys. By the way, the deck launches on December 1st. Mark your calendars. I'll give you more information and details about the launch as we move forward, but basically what's gonna happen, what's gonna happen is that the neighbors are making more noise, but we're just gonna ignore that and sort of steamroll past that part of this video. There will be brick boxes, which are really dope, that we had made, so when you buy a brick, you get this brick box, and you're also gonna get a signed deck for a limited number of decks, just like last launch. And we'll fill you in on the rest of the details as we go forward. Don't forget to follow 1st Dot Shop on Instagram to keep up with all the details. All right, without any further ado, I haven't checked out Reddit in two weeks. You guys must be posting some really crazy stuff, so I can't wait to get into it. Let's have a look. All right, so here we go. This is the top of this week, let's have a look. A full deck vanish I've been practicing. Full deck vanish I've been practicing. That's kinda cool. Oh, does the rest vanish too? Oh, wow. Ha, and the last card. At one point, you kinda see there's something going on on the top of the deck and you kinda get a little bit of a flash there, but other than that, I think all the moves were extremely clean, so good job. Simple trick with the top card. Four diamonds. Oh okay, I was gonna say, that was gonna freak me out for a second. Wow, what? Hold up, that is insane. I don't see what's going on here. Did I miss something? Yo, what the hell is going on? I'm just gonna leave it at that. I could rewind a thousand times. You know what, good job. That was insane. (chuckles) (groans) Okay, okay. (groans) Chris Ramsay, the Russian rebel. Kristofer Ramsayonev, use of dark magic against the state. This looks like one of those Harry Potter prisoner of Azkaban posters. Strike vanish with coins, all right, let's see. Very nice. That was okay. Okay, okay, okay. Ooh, nice. Let's see it. Ah, what? That's actually pretty good. Damn it's hard but I'm almost there, what do you guys think? I don't know. You got four queens. Let's see. It's pretty clean. I love this sort of Leonard Green take to this, where he's very sloppy putting the cards down. Very good, my guy. That was actually very, very good. Magic Ack, ache, ack. 10 consecutive color changes. Let's see. 10 consecutive color, 10 consecutive color changes. That's one. Two. (chuckles) Three. Four, five. I wouldn't say that's consecutive. I would say that's five consecutive color changes. It's not bad. The only thing I would say here, if you're going to do so many color changes back to back to back to back to back to back, I would probably use different cards. Try to find a way where you can change that card to a different card. If you go back and forth, it kinda gives away the method to whoever's watching. Now I know that you're probably doing this for magicians, and you're like, "we know what's going on." But if anybody else sees this video, they might find out and figure out what's going on just because you keep changing it back and forth. You know what I mean? Nonetheless, great practice, good job. Here's a trick from Scott Robinson's new book, Pure Imagination called the Willy Wonka card trick. All right. Oh, cool. What? How does he bring 'em back? What? That was actually so sick. I gotta look into that, Willy Wonka card trick. Looks great, man. Love that vanish. I thought he was going for a color change between the cards, like the Bizarro twist. This just says damn. Damn. 'Kay, that looks satisfying. Friffle. How's he doing that second part? What? Looks a lot easier when you see it on video. You're like, "oh, it's just that." And then you find out, "oh, it's three weeks "of consecutive practice to even make it "look remotely good." Great job, that looks dope. I would love to learn that. What's that called? This guy, that just made me fail no nut November for the 18th time. Magical production, okay. Oh, this is cool. That's kinda cool, so physics, right? Very cool nonetheless. Good use of a bottle of water. I thought this looked nice, not sure what flair to use. Yeah, I should probably create a flair for deck displays. Very cool. Will this hat ever be available again? No, it will not. So the one thing about stuff like this, when I release a piece of clothing, like on 1st Dot Shop, they're always limited, they're always, just because we like to cycle in new stuff, we like to create new pieces for people to wear. It wouldn't be fair for me to bring that back for the people who bought it for the exclusivity, and that's kind of what I like about playing cards, and this new clothing line, is that you can get an exclusive piece that was really hard to find and you'll never see again, so it's kinda special to whoever bought it, and I gotta respect that. Playing around with a keyboard. What does this mean? (screams) That's so cool. Whoa, okay gamer. Oh, what's going on? Whoa! (chuckles) Gotta love the use of another object. You know, throw that together with playing cards, pretty sick. Pencil vanish, okay. What? What? What's happening? I don't know what's happening, whatever. (chuckles) Any thoughts or tips? Coin, that's nice. I'm not much of a coin guy, so it wouldn't be very noble of me to give you any tips. However, the one thing that I can say is, the vanish was insane, looked great. The production was a little bit sloppy. I would've produced it a different way than you vanished it, because you're throwing it into like a tenkai, it kinda looks like you're throwing it into a tenkai, which gives away how you vanished it. So I would've probably produced it in a way where you can do something like this, and I don't know, just change it up a little bit not to give it away. But other than that, definitely better than I could've done. Paintbrush shot during my fourth period class. (chuckles) Very nice. Simple and quick. Ooh, I've always liked that. That's so cool. Again, I love the use of another item, bringing it into playing cards. And a watch is cool 'cause it's a very available item, it's on your wrist already, so using that is pretty sick. Cool cardistry. This is that same kid that did it last time. What? That is cool. So much talent. Ivan Magical, go check him out. Sleighty kids from Philippine, what does that mean? Sleighty, sleighty kids, sleighty children. Definitely dope, I love that move. Doctor Manhattan change, nice. Very sick, dude these kids are chillin' in the Philippines, they're like, "hey, let's make a compilation "sleight of hand cardistry video." I think it's awesome, dude. That inspires me. I'm one to be inspired all the time, especially by this type of stuff, these montages, and this makes me wanna get out there with my friends and just shoot some cool videos. Ah, very cool. And well-shot, too. Oh, that was super clean. See there, he goes from a card to another card, and then to another card instead of going back. Whoa, ah, almost got it. Nice, nice, nice. Ah, what? These kids are insane. All right, if you guys wanna check that video out, the rest of it, feel free, it's on this subreddit. Will you wanna marry me? This is what this says, do you wanna marry me? - I have you recording. - Yeah. - Cards, I've shown the deck, right? - Right. - All right, say stop whenever you want. - Stop. - Save that card in your mind, so make sure I don't see it. Got it? - Yeah. - This is so cool, this guy's macking, dude. - Split it down the middle, all right? Now I gotta give it a good mix-up. Now look. That's not your card, right? - No. - All right, look. - (laughs) That's my card. - It's gonna go in the middle, right? Now if it's in the middle, it's not in the first or the second position. (snaps fingers) It's the top. - (laughs) That's crazy. - Give it a bend, right, now look. That's it, snap your fingers. (snaps fingers) Turn it around. - (laughs) No, you do it. - That's awesome. - Do you wanna marry me? (laughter) - Best reaction ever, you wanna marry me? It probably made that guy's day, that's awesome. The only thing I would've said there, you had control that entire time. These two girls were so enthralled with your performance. Obviously, they were giggling the whole time, so they were probably like, "oh, this guy's kinda cute with some magic." So take your time, dude, milk that moment. That last moment, especially with the snap. You're like, "snap your fingers, boom, boom," before they could even register what was going on, it kinda happened. I would've really milked that and made that even more. But regardless, good job for getting out there. You went out and performed some live magic, which I always appreciate and I always think it's dope. And you see from a guy like this, you know what I mean? These aren't crazy tricks that are incredibly hard. This guy practiced these tricks, got them down to a point where he can go out, feel comfortable and perform them, and he got great reactions. So it just goes to show you man, just get outside of your comfort zone a little bit sometimes and you never know who you might be married to after a card trick, so good job. Mail day, yeah baby. All right, maybe time for one more, let's see. This is some kind of, this is some of my favorite trick to do and I really hope you guys like it. (screams) Ew, what? (laughs) That looks insane. Oh cool, what? That's even wider, what? How? And the cards are there? Cool compilation, my dude. My favorite was definitely this thing with the missing hands, with the missing fingers. So cool, definitely something I would do. All right internet, that's enough out of you today. Thank you so much for everybody who dropped their submissions into the subreddit.
