hello all my name is Krish naak and welcome to my YouTube channel so guys one of the most awaited video as I had already informed today I will be uploading the road map to become a data analyst in 2024 and the most amazing thing will be that I'll be talking about free videos free materials handwritten notes along with that live sessions that are probably happening both in my channel and in uron also so all the links and everything along with all the materials everything will be available to you so just follow this road map uh as said I usually Mak the make this road map for everyone of you out there and uh I do provide all the free videos free materials because there are also people who are not capable to take uh courses and all and there are some people who are really smart and just by some amount of guidance they will be able to prepare and they will be able to clear any kind of interviews so please make sure that you watch this video till the end uh because I am going to cover each and everything properly show you the road map what all topics to discuss and many more things as such so let's go ahead and let me share my screen and let me go ahead with the road map so guys first of all before we go ahead and understand the entire data analyst road map for 2024 first of all you really need to understand what does a data analyst do and by this here is an amazing diagram in front of you to make you understand what does a data analyst do so initially whenever any data analytics or data science projects come so the first step is basically about requirement Gathering now in the requirement Gathering the domain expert along with the business analyst they will have a discussion they'll have a discussion about what all things needs to be implemented over here and with respect to that they will try to create stories and they'll divide that into Sprints so in every project currently you'll be able to see that there will be multiple Sprints and there will be multiple stories that will be divided into those Sprints then after these requirements are basically done right then what is happen this requirements are sent to the data analyst or data science team now considering this data science or data analyst team what is the next step that happens after this right so data analyst or data scientist team along with the domain expert or product owner okay they have a lot of discussions and then they try to understand for solving this project where do you where do they take the data from it may be dependent on third party apis it may be dependent on paid apis itself right so once they probably identify the data that is required to solve this project it can be from third party Cloud API it can be from internal database then you'll be able to see that they will also send it to the Big Data team right so at one place let's say mongod debit is stored so that that entire pipeline is created and whenever data is required from those pipeline it can be taken up so now we will probably start the life cycle of a data science project Now understand one thing when I say life cycle of a data science project most of the time data scientist is involved but where does data analyst fall in this terms so over here what happens is that as a data analyst we take this entire data we perform exploratory data analysis any kind of analysis it can be a detailed data analysis it can be lot of observations are basically taken from that and then we go ahead and doing the reportings reportings basically means we create some amazing reports right this kind of reports that you are able to see once these reports are created then these reports are sent to the stakeholders right now over here the stakeholder main thing will be that uh based on these reports the stakeholder make some crucial decisions right let's say whether this product needs to be launched in this city or which all offline centers we really need to up uh open let's say that we have a sales department what all product are getting sold uh every day I really want to see that how is the sales going ahead you know what are the outlier factors that is deriving the sales all those kind of reports are basically generated over here so this in cycle is basically done by the data analyst right and if I talk about data analyst uh if I talk about the skill sets it is very much easy and simple when compared to a data scientist you know so if I say around four to 5 months if you are dedicated giving around 4 to 5 hours daily all the things that I'm probably going to show you over here all the skill sets if you are probably following it that will be more than sufficient to become a data analyst but at the end of the day with respect to different different use cases this kind of things are we are doing right as a data analyst you take the data you clean the data you perform Eda then you create reportings with the help of some business intelligence tools like powerbi tblo and and you create these amazing reports and these reports every day sent to the stakeholder because let's imagine that I am I'm the sales head of my company I probably come in the morning in my office and I probably see the new report that are coming okay what happened in this particular month or what is today's sales or what is yesterday's sales you know what were the outlier factors how is the delivery mode that is going on I'm just giving some examples okay so you can consider it with respect to different different domains and use cases now to start with what all skill sets you specifically want as I said with respect to data scientist or data analyst one skill set that you specifically requires programming language and again in this you have two option Python and R programming language but again if you take my suggestion go always with Python programming language because why I say this because I've seen many data analysts also switching to data science so if you're probably from the non- tech background non-programming background this road map also works for you right and later on when you you want to move towards the data science this Python programming language can be very very handy okay now considering this right I have created both the playlist right why both the playlist both in English and Hindi so here you'll be able to see complete python playlist in English you just need to click the link once you click the link you'll be able to go to my YouTube channel then you have complete python playlist in Hindi so with respect to this also you will be able to find the entire playlist right and this two playlist will be more than sufficient you don't even have to learn modular coding so if you probably complete both half of the playlist if I probably show you over if you click over here in this specific link there are multiple videos you don't even have to go to the model programming part you just need to work till those libraries like pandas Matt plotti how do you do the visualization how do you perform Ed and all right so if you're good till that much that will be more than sufficient I'm not saying that you need to probably create an end to endend project do the deployment somewhere n no no no n right just make sure that you're good at Python programming language and you can perform lot of Eda exploor data analysis feature engineering like kind of stuff okay and always remember now as you know because of uh this amazing chat GP Google B your coding experience is becoming much more easier right you really need to be productive so always when you're practicing python with lot and lot of examples see over here I've given four to five examples but there will be scenario where you want 20 to 25 examples so from where you can actually take it you have to go ahead and refer for this chat GP or Google B there you just go ahead and ask hey I want to perform exploited data analysis can you show me how to handle the missing value in 10 different ways give me some examples where I can probably solve it will give you the examples it will give you the solution keep on practicing that is the main fun out there now one very important thing that I really want to cover is that what all topics you should definitely learn in Python for becoming a data analyst so here I've opened the playlist here you can probably see I've discussed about basic data structures like python list Boolean varibles set dictionary tuples numpy inbuilt function tutorials pandas data frame pandas reading CSV file reading Json file matplot lip cbon um then you have Eda then you have python functions positional and keyword uh functions python Lambda functions I until this list comprehension Advanced string formatting so much of the detailed DSA part I'll not say uh complicated DSA but at least knowing to understand that how you can use these amazing libraries like pandas matlot lip for performing till Eda so till tutorial 11 if you learn properly if you get to know about all the libraries that we are specifically using that will be more than sufficient but again understand you really need to practice so for practicing purpose see as a data scientif I say you need to learn everything that is probably over here right you need to learn each and everything that I actually created in this right but as a data analyst understand the importance of inbuilt data structures that are present in Python along with that some important libraries like numai pandas matl lip seon because this all will be helpful in performing ing Eda now not only Eda later on you perform feature engineering you perform statistical analysis you know there are lot of libraries that are specifically used with respect to that so here is what is there so you have to use chart GPT or Google B become productive become smart don't follow that old pattern of learning I would suggest follow this new pattern of learning and you are really smart trust me in this if you keep on asking different different questions so CH or Google B you will be able to do it now the final goal outcome from this particular module will be that you'll be learning you'll be able to understand basic to intermediate python with various knowledge of data structures like numpy pandas this this this knowledge of Performing Eda featuring creating visualization charts using Python and uh at least you can if you are interested make some kind of projects using flask which is not necessary or not compulsory but it'll be good for you right and always try to learn some about the new things that are probably coming in the pyth now coming to the second model and this is super important okay and I hardly think you'll be taking 15 to 20 days to Learn Python if you're practicing four to 5 hours daily now coming to statistics statistics is the most core important thing as a data analyst trust me statistics is the thing guys you definitely required a lot of things with respect to statistics here I've told that most of the time you really need to do reporting but before that when I said you need to perform EDF feature engineering along with that you also need to perform statistical analysis right and statistical analysis like hypothesis testing right what is z test T Test the two important things that you specifically learn with respect to statistics one is the descriptive statistics and one is the inferential statistics with the help of descriptive statistics you get to know about the summary of the data but with respect to inferential statistics you come to some kind of conclusions you apply some kind of hypothesis testing tomorrow do I need to come up with this specific product the vaccine that we have actually created is it good or bad right is it following the correct criteria we apply some kind of hypothesis testing over there right and lot many things and trust me I've created all these videos in my channel and I've divided this into main four important things right one is 7day statistics live session who wants to learn who who devoting let's say 3 to 4 hours and they want to quickly learn in this right just go and watch this 7 Days live session session every day 1 and a half hour session I've have actually created explained each and everything this has millions and millions of views over here you can see 52k views right and why I'm not creating this series again because this was more than sufficient many people are able to follow it very much amazingly if there are some new things that I really need to upload then I'll create more videos about it so if you're covering this 7 Days live session trust me more than sufficient you'll be able to understand each and everything because here we have discussed both descriptive stat inferential statistics what all things basically comes in descriptive statistics from histogram from bins size everything we have discussed right what are percentiles how do you calculate it have solve mathematical techniques what are different different sampling techniques what is population what is variance what is the importance of variance mean all the topics has basically covered but the most important thing will be in inferential statistics there we'll be learning about Z test T Test student test uh and different kind of distribution like uniform distribution ions right normal distribution Gan distribution standard normal distribution all these topics has been discussed like anything so if you are devoting that much that will be more than sufficient now there may be some people who wants to learn slowly so here also I've have created statistics in ml all in English in 43 videos so if you probably go over here and see right uh if you click that link I've not clicked this link if you click this link you'll be able to find out detail along with this some people are very much happy to learn in Hindi right so for those for those people right what I have actually done is that I've also created all the videos in Hindi right every tutorial there are around 20 to 25 tutorials there are some more videos that I need to put in this playlist and that I will do it in a week time right but if I talk about different distributions how it is basically used what are sample what are this population like just go ahead and see the topics and these are all with practical implementation right super amazing I'm telling you many people have used it many people have cleared any interviews and if I talk with respect to your interview they will definitely ask about statistics right so a good playlist both in English and Hindi with lot of information and knowledge okay so this is done as I said statistics you need to focus on two different things descriptive inferential cover all about hypothesis testing Z test T Test uh how do you see different different table test Kai Square test all these things are there understand the importance of those they'll ask you in the interview you should be able to answer that okay now coming to the next one Eda right as I said after learning all these things Python and statistics now it's time that you can use different different statistical analysis to perform the explor data analysis along with that feature engineering so for this also I've created all these videos 2020 videos are there if you probably see overc this is is the live session that I had actually taken in Eda playlist this is more step by step you specifically one I have created like this and this will be very good for understanding how do you probably do all these things right and by this your Basics will become much more stronger every time I'm telling use chat GPT and Google B so that your learning will be little bit faster right it'll become very very fast right productivity right you have to look for that so Ed and feature engineering is the next thing so the final goal will be that techniques to perform statistical analysis now in this feature engineering how do you do Z test T Test right how do you take a specific data how do you find out outliers you know uh how do you come up with different different conclusions right how do you perform hypothesis testing everything has been explained over here okay you just need to refer it now coming to the next one that is databases finished one programming language we made our base strong with respect to statistics now is databases now many people say that just learn SQL okay but again I'd suggest always try to learn one SQL database and one no SQL database my main a is that after becoming a data analyst I also want you all to switch towards data science right because whatever data scientist can do data analyst cannot do but whatever data analyst can do data scientist can do right so that is my main Vision tomorrow if you want to really upgrade I would suggest move from data analyst to data scientist so for that I've created this mongod maybe my SQL and all so here you'll be able to see this uh so here here is the entire SQL playlist a good SQL playist a lot of interview examples and along with that in in neuron what we have done is that we have divided the SQL topics into chunk Chun videos like 5 to 6 minutes videos so if you want to probably go through this completely from basic to Advanced they around 50 videos I would definitely say that please follow Inon Channel because there are lot of live session sessions every day that are happening right and with that without this live session trust me in this live session all this videos with respect to powerbi with respect to SQL everything and this is completely in Hindi also if you want to check it out right so all these videos are there this is in Hindi this is in English right in Hindi Channel also we are coming with with Hindi videos so here all the things that you probably require in SQL there around 44 videos which will be more than sufficient all those videos spans between 0 to 10es because one Topic at a time quickly practice it and quickly execute things right and this will be super beneficial for your interviews okay so please make sure that you follow ION channel here is the rink the I've written fresh my SQL series and then you can also learn about cassendra DB now coming to this once you good at databases because most of the interviews happens in databases so please use chat uh Google Chat GPT right sorry Google b or chat GPT and ask different different interviews and try to solve all those questions right just say that hey act like an interviewer and ask me different different questions from basic to intermediate with respect to my SQL and then you write the answer you ask them whether it is right or not okay so try to practice as much as possible as you can okay now coming to the most important thing that is business intelligence tool now whenever I talk about business intelligence tool I usually give an example of two rules on is powerbi and tblo but this time I'm just saying that go only with powerbi power bi has a lot of Scope when compared to tblo I'm not saying that with the help of tblo you'll not be able to get job but again at a time just focus on one so my choice will be powerbi now in powerbi also I have created uh a playlist already so here is one playlist where you'll find out all the tutorials uh and advanced things like Dax query and all right so there will be another link over here life power behind Hindi again in YouTube channel you'll be able to see all the Dax queries how things are happening is basically explained by this amazing Mentor which is called as sorv right his name is sorv he's having 20 plus years of experience and he's already teaching all these things in auron channel so I would suggest go ahead and watch this entire video step by step and all these videos are live all these videos are exactly live so everything you'll be able to understand out of it okay so my suggestion would be go ahead with powerbi and live powerbi in Hindi okay so one is in English and one is in Hindi so after you probably complete powerbi again again you can actually do a lot of end to endend projects and both this playlist lot of end to end projects is also given at the end of the day you really need to create some amazing reports which the stakeholder can easily understand now coming to the next one and this is for all those experienced people who really want to make a transition into the data analytics industry let's say you are somewhere around 8 plus years of experience having the knowledge about ETL tools is super important so let's take one very good example of Informatica so Informatica and there's one amazing link on this ETL if you read understand read from this like what is exactly ETL it is deals with three different things one is extract transform and load so extract basically means retries and verifies data from various sources transform means you basically need to perform some kind of processing and organize those data so that it can be reusable and all this data needs to be moved to some kind of data repository so this ETL is also created by a data analyst who are quite experienced and again for this I would suggest learn Informatica because Informatica is becoming very very much famous and what I've seen in the interviews that people uh talk about this kind of edl tools okay top ETL tools you can probably refer to top 14 uh ETL tools which are the different different ETL tools over here so uh again there are Talent Informatica integrate. but what I have seen from most of the companies they go ahead with Informatica okay so it is up to you whichever you want to learn please go ahead and learn that but at the end of the day you will be doing this three important step and this is usually for experienced people not for freshers or not for intermediate like 2 to three experience two to three years or not but it is good to know or have this specific knowledge Now quickly I want to announce uron course on data analytics boot camp is probably coming up and this is the entire course and this is uh uh currently coming up on 27 Jan 2024 the timing of the classes will be from 3: to 6:00 p.m. IST every Saturday and Sunday and here is the detailed syllabus that you have right course introduction uh data analysis jargon data sources MySQL SQL commands um you have lot of things then they also python but focus is more on powerbi Dax this this and at the end of the day you'll be also learning tblo so everything you can you can probably go ahead and see the syllabus and if you have any queries you can go ahead and contact this number and talk to our counselor okay and again whoever require this kind of course please go ahead and have a look okay now coming to the next thing after you probably learn all these things and practice see at the end of the day you really need to practice unless and until you don't practice things will not work out okay after practicing many people talk about jobs so here is where realtime internships will come into existence okay in uron we are happy to launch this internship portal where there are more than 500 plus projects in the field of data analytics so if you probably go ahead and sign in and see this entire internship portal right you can go ahead and select any project right you can go ahead and select any project you can go ahead and see to it and how to use this this you can probably click on start a new project you can select the tech over here what tech you really want let's say I want to go with with respect to business intelligence then let's say I want to go with different different domain let's say Finance insurance and Banking and I want to probably go ahead and select the next project let's say I want to analyze the depth statistics so this is the project itself as soon as you enroll in this right you also get an offer letter right so once you probably get an offer letter and your entire project has basically started you can see that you can get your offer letter over here right with respect to the internship reduce your reduce your so this is the entire internship offer letter right but the end date of the offer letter will be only given once you submit the project right if you want to go on to understand the project details go ahead and click over here then here is your description link here is the entire project details that you really need to do right so all these project details the World Bank the data set will be given what all task needs to be done everything is given over here and you just need to go ahead and Implement all those things after you complete this and that will only be possible when you know something about it you can put the hld document lld document the references of the document is given over there architecture y frame project code detail project report project demo video LinkedIn post once you submit it and then you will be getting one option over here to get the experience letter let's say if you take 6 months to complete this project once our team will verify that you have done everything properly and after 6 months you'll be probably getting that that basically means the experience letter that you'll be getting will be of 6 months okay so this is one very much important thing and without this trust me it is very much difficult um as a fresher definitely be difficult uh because this internships experience is super important because there you learn things you learn things you learn things how to implement new things over there how to implement a project itself so yes this was the all the details I would again suggest you please go ahead and subscribe the in intelligence Channel and you can Al support my channel that is all provided over here but all this information I will be providing in the description of this particular video at the end of the day I would suggest please Fork this repository because any update that will probably be coming up I will be uploading it over here so I hope I you like this particular video I will see you all in the next video have a great day ahead thank you one all take care bye-bye
