Complete Guide To The (Rust & Vengeance Quest) In Outward Definitive Edition

yeah boy so you've decided to try and complete the best quest in outward rust and Vengeance but it's confusing the heck out of you trust me you're not alone my first time completing this Quest I got lost constantly and couldn't even complete the dang thing but after well playing way too much I can now complete the entire thing in about an hour so here is the complete guide to rust and Vengeance as well as some extra secrets for you at the end there are two ways to start this Quest if you begin a faction Quest you'll automatically start it as soon as you travel to arbaton you get 100 days to finish the entire thing but this will only be 60 days if you're about done with the faction or you can opt to start it before your faction quest which just requires three power coils and talking to the broken Golem in town either way you decide to do it you'll get some dialogue about ah the rust glitch wants to end harmatten and you should fear him after this happens make sure to touch the Golem it gives you this runic Attunement which basically there are Gates blocking the entire dungeon system but once you have this they all open up now the goal of this Quest is to defeat a lich but because the scourge had broken in and the Golems are out of control he's been locked away you need to collect four keys to get to him gemstone key a b c and d you'll use a system called the runic train to travel around to different dungeons where Golems were created to stop the scourge there are multiple entrances to the runic train so you can enter and exit all over the map Definitive Edition also added these purple Maps near the trains to help you know where you're at there will be a purple or pink dot near the location where you are this map corresponds with your region map like I said you can enter at different locations and it's a huge puzzle with different keys in each dungeon however this somewhat complicated Adventure is a piece of cake to complete when you know what you're doing here I skipped 90 of the enemies and found every single item be aware that you should explore everything there's a lot of loot to be found and I'm not checking every nook and cranny in this footage but these areas have a lot of environmental storytelling you should not skip however for the sake of those getting lost during this Quest here is the exact path I would take to make it fast and efficient the living quarters will be located in the top left corner of your map this is the location I always start at now there's two reasons for this number one it's actually the easiest area to start in the only enemies you're going to be fighting are troglodytes and humans and in fact you can run past most of these now you need technically nothing here so if you want to go to other places you can this is not required whatsoever to complete this part of the game because originally in Old outward there was actually a train key that you needed to pick up this has been removed from the game entirely in Definitive Edition now you can also grab the troglodyte key to free the trog Merchant if you would like to do so the first thing you need to do is pull that lever there that I pulled and you come all the way down here I'm going to show you exactly where the Golem is that you used to have the key he's right behind these kazite right here see these red Golems these guys are always going to have the keys they essentially gave the keys to these Golems to protect so this one used to have a train key it does not exist anymore you don't need to worry about it if you are wanting to get the troglodyte key I made a video on this separately I'm not going to go over the quest here but this is where the key is just in case you were interested in finding it now to do this you need to go all the way back behind where these humans were they can be a pain in the butt especially since they do a lot of physical damage so do be careful around them you're going to go to the left here and this is where you start fighting a bunch of troglodytes now like I said this area isn't required and it's it's just one of the easiest locations to get into the trains because the trains are the primary place where you're going to be going to the other dungeons so you're gonna run past all these trogs here now I recommend actually killing them because I ran into a bit of trouble here where I didn't kill them and they ambushed me a little bit but that's okay um you also notice I'm using a sky Crown mace and the fabulous Palladium Shield both are a great combo excellent at killing anything in the game if you are having trouble killing anything that needs Elemental damage this is a fantastic setup it's going to do a lot of impact as well the first key that you're going to grab is the lower living quarters key this is the only one required here the only reason that you need it is to actually get to the train system there's a door that you'll unlock with this key what's cool is if you come through the train system to this location this door here will still be locked and you might be wondering oh well how do I get the key then if the troglodyte back there who the pink one drops it there's actually a pink troglodyte back behind the map over here that will drop one from this direction as well so now that we've cleared this entire area we're going to next go to the research laboratory the research laboratory will be the next one on the list I usually just go straight down the list it makes things pretty easy this is where the end of the quest is the very end but unfortunately you need the Four Keys to open up the Lich first so now we're gonna head to The Foundry the second on that list there Foundry is interesting okay it's a lot more maze-like a lot of these areas are pretty maze-like you're gonna find a lot of golems and a lot of scourge the best way to take care of this area is to get lightning varnishes and ethereal varnishes ethereal specifically will destroy the entire game um so you just run past here that lightning Golem there will be trouble dude be aware that he can bum rush you and deal a lot of damage quickly so we're gonna run all the way past through here I am using Master Trader set I throw on the full set I noticed a lack of impact resistance when I was playing with it luckily this Shield makes up for that a little bit fire enemies here will be an issue make sure you have water on you because if you burn yeah you're gonna die so again this uh what's interesting about this entire dungeon is I didn't realize you could run past all these enemies this is the first time I did this running pass because honestly this is one of my favorite quests because there's so much to fight you're constantly running up into a next enemy uh most of them aren't really that hard they're just giving you something to fight in to explore and really this dungeon is amazing due to its environmental storytelling if you actually take the time to scour every inch you'll find a lot of stuff so here you're gonna find the Golem that we need to kill this is the all these green and red colored Golems they have the keys if they're regular Golems they won't have the key this is the lower boundary key this is another key that is just used to unlock the next area a lot of the keys are like this you might get confused because you're gonna get a ton of these keys and you'll be like oh my word this is overwhelming most of them are like one time used things they just open up a door for the next area and force you to fight some of the enemies in here is the next key that we need this is one of the most important keys in the entire Quest do be careful as two Golems will rush you but they are broken so it's not too bad and like a you can see here I use confusion to just destroy them confusion is Crazy by the way if you're having trouble use confusion this Golem here has the next key this is the warehouse key okay the warehouse key is extremely important because it blocks off an entire part of one of the dungeons if you don't have this you can't access it so grab the warehouse key I'm going to show you where to take that later after we finish this part of the dungeon pull that lever and you're gonna go back out this way and this will let you get to the second part of this dungeon we're almost done with this one actually this one is not the only reason this dungeon exists is for the warehouse key that is it it has the warehouse key it doesn't have gemstone keys in fact all of the gemstones keys are locked behind more difficult enemies so you'll know if you don't have a gemstone key there won't be any two enemies that are too bad there uh watch out for the rock mantis he likes to hide here you'll be able to easily see him if you're paying attention but if you get jumped by him he can deal some pretty good damage to you also watch out for the golems in the area I noticed this later on in the run if you get hit by too many Gall or Golem hits too many times you'll get pain inflicted and then just die instantly it's pretty crazy all right this is the back of the dungeon so you're gonna run back to this little hallway here there's going to be a Golem again you don't need to kill this guy it's unnecessary but I'm showing you where all the keys are the key that this guy drops unlocks a shortcut to the back part of the dungeons you already completed so you'll see right here you open up this Rusty Golem here it is The Foundry assembly line key go ahead and grab it and you're gonna walk out the room to the left open that up and you can get back into the dungeon now we don't actually want to do that because where we want to go is out of this dungeon we don't need to get back on the train we want to go exit up here and we're gonna head to the warehouse I'm going to show you where the warehouse is because it's actually the easiest one to miss if you're in the center of the antique Plateau which is where the clock tower puzzle is you can follow my path here around this structure of buildings and watch out for gollums here because there might be two just be careful and you're gonna go all the way back to the right corner of this area there is a giant building here underneath it is the entrance to the warehouse now be aware this is my uh favorite dungeon to do last because it's the hardest one it really is it has the most immaculates the toughest enemies but I did it progression wise here because it is more efficient we just got the warehouse key we're now in the warehouse so you've used it and you know exactly what key goes where what's cool about the warehouse is there's a boss at the end so I'm going to describe how to uh somewhat beat that boss efficiently if you'd like and the good thing to note about this dungeon is that there are a like I said a ton of immaculates so if you want to deal with them efficiently lightning and Views are going to be great lightning damage from other sources like the win schedule would be great as well here is the hardest one the two immaculates together those can be really rough be careful there I've died plenty of times you're gonna head up this ramp you'd don't need to head up this ramp but it unlocks a shortcut that if you happen to die you could just skip right back through here another thing to note is that these immaculates love to have elemental friends um these Elementals aren't bad they're actually pretty easy to take down but they are also snipers so if you're fighting another enemy they will trash you it's very annoying actually so do watch out for them like I said I didn't kill any of these guys and I do recommend there's an elevator behind that Immaculate I'd check that out if you were just messing around it's a very cool little area that shows off the scourge a bit more and you get a ornate chest down here is the boss this is going to be the MK Gollum it's one of the bosses in the game that people struggle with constantly and ask me for advice all the time you can actually set up how to fight him give him his own stuff I always choose the Rusted Hive it doesn't matter that much you just don't want to choose the one that gives them a lot of impact I like the tent on Hammer then on Hammer is the easiest because it deals the least amount of damage to you at least I feel that way it does a lot of impact but it does the least amount of damage the corruption events are the best here as well because you should have prepped and got corruption potions to cure and heat and cold will actually hurt you in battle whereas the corruption won't at least not in this battle so this is the MK Gollum this is one of the most feared enemies for people he's tough he does a lot of impact he can stun lock you do a lot of damage but what's his weakness brace brace is his weakness it's the best skill in the game easily it gives you the most amazing opening you're just gonna stun the Enemy by 50 and then get in there and do some damage so make sure to have brace and use that immediately and then you're going to impact him hence why I have the sky Crown mace and a fabulous blading Shields are really good about dealing impact with Shield charge and Sky Crown maze is the best one-handed weapon for impact with its speed it's absolutely fantastic you'll notice that he does a lot of heavy hitting attacks here your window for dodging is pretty lenient so be aware of that this is the first gemstone key that we will be getting it is the gemstone key a this is one of the Four Keys that you need to unlock the rust Lich now I believe there used to be a bug where this key would not be given to you so they have dropped the key in front of here as well just in case it doesn't drop in your inventory so if you're wondering why on Earth do I have two gemstone key A's is because it used to be a bit bugged and sometimes people wouldn't get it so now they have one extra just in case after this guy you're going to head past here through this door there's a train at the end luckily at the end of this they have the runic train we're gonna get on it and we're going to go to the next location but before doing so do make sure to come over here and pull this lever this will open up another shortcut so that if you want to get back to the runic train system easily you can do that a lot of these areas do this they have a very long part of the dungeon and then they'll have a shortcut just so if you want to get back on the runic train easily you can because sometimes you may need to backtrack if you get lost or something now next area we're going to go to is the manufacturing facility manufacturing facility is where they manufacture the Golems you can actually see this it's very cool every one of these dungeons is aptly named it's all about building up the Golems you'll notice I went up here this is not necessary I don't know why I went up here I got a little bit lost here so I always come up there to kill the enemies so I was like oh I need to go kill these guys but I wasn't killing anything you're gonna come back here down the ramp this area is full of scourge uh you could mostly ignore These Guys these illuminators are not that bad honestly I never have issues with them but they can hit you multiple times if they hit you at all so do be aware of that and you're just going to be pulling a lever over here once you pull this lever it opens up the doorway to the next area a lot of these things are like there's a lot of levers a lot of keys stuff like this but it's actually pretty self-explanatory in fact most of these areas are very linear so if you ever get lost you can either backtrack or just know you need to go ahead there's a lot of extra areas for you to explore like I said earlier it's all about the environmental storytelling about how this rust Lich uh tried to make these Golems to stop the scourge and stuff like that so there's all that stuff around here but you don't need to explore if you don't want to if you're trying to you know Rush this uh which is what I'm doing here the second gemstone is in this specific dungeon now this one is not locked behind a boss instead it is locked behind a door and a few enemies in fact it's the easiest gemstone to get to funnily enough I don't know why they didn't put a boss here um so there's going to be a lever back here this lever will open up a door that hides the gemstone behind it this is often where people get lost because they'll pull a lever or put a key into something and then they won't realize what it did so at the very end of this hallway it opened up the door there you might have seen that run all the way back down there and there's the door open right there there's also a door on the right that will exit to later uh but we want to go through this door right now this is going to have the gemstone key do beware there are three Scourge enemies behind here I buffed the lightning and I used the flash Onslaught skill because it does insane high damage immediately and if these guys gang up on you it will deal a lot of damage to you especially with the little Scourge dudes dealing with that green corruption damage all over the place this is gemstone Key C I didn't go in order from gemstone a b c and d because it's not the easiest way to do this you can do that if you would like but gemstone C is the one I usually get second as it is very very easy to get You're Going to exit out this exit here into the antique Plateau the reason to do this is because this is another shortcut that we're going to be opening up for ourselves if we ever want to come back here now this one you cannot get to is one of the locations that is completely inaccessible until you've been here you're gonna see a rope at the very end it'll let the Rope down once that ropes down you can go back up and come back down at Free Will until that point this rope won't be there because obviously you have to put it down for yourself to get back up so that's why we have to come all the way over here next we are going to go all the way down to the bottom right part of the map to the Mana Lake you should know it on your map it's the only pinkish area pretty much in the entire game actually and this is another pretty challenging dungeon not because of the enemies there aren't that many challenging enemies but there's a lot of enemies mostly trogs and Elementals but they'll gang up on you very very quickly there is the train key here now like I said earlier there was used to be two train keys and outward and now in Definitive Edition there's only one this is the one that you need it is required to access certain parts of these Dungeons and you'll need to get it for the next part that we're doing pull this lever it will open up the door on the other side that was previously blocked luckily they gave us a little shortcut here you can head up through this tube and jump back over there now this area I didn't show the fighting because it actually takes quite a while to do the fighting um there's a lot of trogs there's a lot of they just group up there's a ton of them they're just all over the place so be very careful take your time um and make sure to have poison uh curing potions train key a seal it's named a because it used to be two A and B um tranky a is very important to have that will let you access the I believe it was the Mana transfer station I can't remember the exact name of it right now but we're gonna head all the way back down here where we were a little bit of re-running through these areas it's a good idea to kill these Elementals because otherwise they might shoot you on your way back watch out for fire this area is hot if you're worried about heat and cold this area is both hot up top and then once we go down the elevator it will be freezing cold if you're not there for a long it shouldn't matter too much but be aware if you're doing some exploration you may want to bring a second set of clothing or armor um the Golem right here is required it's the only Golem that is blue and that is a regular color Golem that has a key um I don't know why actually kind of funny I believe it is the only one in the entire game that has a key that is the regular Golem weird this is another key that's not very important it is just so that you can access the Next Room the lower test chamber key this will allow you to unlock a door here and you can move on in the Next Room we have a frozen Gollum I don't remember the exact name of him it's like an Arcane Golem I believe these guys are tough these guys are pretty tough and this one is more tough than usual as he is a mini boss or a unique enemy um impact is great here Elemental uh spear varnish will be fantastic he also drops a lower test chamber key you do not need this this is if you come through here the back way you're able to access that door we just opened where the main system for the trains are this is where there's two separate ways you can get on and off go to different directions this used to be more important in Old outward when you needed to be going specific directions now you can kind of just go to whatever location you want to whenever but you're going to come over here there's going to be three enemies together again this dungeon isn't hard because none of the enemies are tough but they always throw a bunch of them at you at the same time so be careful train key a will be used at this console it unlocks you'll see that right there turned green went from red to Green it unlocks that door allowing the train to move in that direction otherwise the train can't go there that completely blocks off an entire section of the map now that's open we're good we can go there we're gonna get back on the train and we're gonna go to our next destination [Music] now this is the location with all of this the corruption you're gonna need to be very careful here I recommend having corruption curing potions before you come here otherwise you will get corrupted unless you have like 90 corruption resist you'll be in it for a long time that's basically this entire area uh this is another area where there's a lot to explore here there really is it's very interesting there's all this elevator stuff but in all reality you don't need to do much of it there's a red Golem down here that has a key loading docks elevator key this is another key that is not important for the quest but will activate the elevator allowing you to go up so go back up the stairs head back all the way around here we're gonna go to the very back here it's going to be another console where we simply activate the elevator just walk all the way back here watch out for the Golems there's some two broken uh Beast gollums back here activate the console right here and the elevators should now be working allowing you to go all the way up I was originally not going to talk over or do a voiceover for this but I decided honestly there's a lot I have to talk about this area is my favorite area in the game I think it was excellently excellently done it's fantastic there's so much to do so much to look around I just remember my first time in this dungeon and getting so lost just having no idea what I was doing with my brother is very very confused but the more you learn about it the more you figure it out it's like oh it's like this massive puzzle with all this stuff that you have to do it's very cool and the fact that the lore works really well with it is just the lore behind this part is amazing it's really cool be careful when you come into this room there is a beast Gollum uh but he's broken you're like okay not bad there's actually a fixed Beast Gollum in the next room and he's supposed to be a little bit further back but I've noticed almost every time I do this dungeon he rushes me in fact every single time he'll come behind me and usually inflict me with pain before I realize it luckily I remembered this time and he didn't get me the next Golem we're going to come up against is once again a Golem with a key he is going to allow us to access the next area so like I said a lot of these keys that you're going to get are really one-time uses you don't need to worry about them too much the big ones are the gemstones you need the gemstones and the warehouse key because the warehouse key access is that entire dungeon so be aware that you really only need four keys in the end this is the loading docks key go ahead and grab it off of his body and move to the left out of the way past the ramp you'll once again get to the top of that elevator and you can access the key put it in the slot here and open up the doorway at this point it gets really easy you just follow the elevator go straight up there is a secondary system of elevators here which you'll see at the end here you can actually go from the top to the bottom instantly they have a secondary elevator system which I'll show off after the boss fight but once you go all the way up past this top part of the elevator you're going to see an area you can go straight to and there's a lever make sure that you go out or I guess there's not a lever but there's a area where you can go to make sure you go out here because you can access a plank once you put this down you can then come back from the open world through this location if you need to all of these little shortcuts aren't necessary for you if you're doing it the way I'm showing you because you're going from one location to the next but if you need to take a break throw off some loot then you know exactly where to come back to and you can get there pretty easily now once back inside this is the boss fight so this is also great if you need to go get some stuff that you're not ready for the fight itself you can go get some potions and come back make sure you sleep get your good buff buff up with lightning this guy's really weak to lightning he's actually pretty easy but he's a really cool boss fight essentially he's a giant who got infected by The Scourge it's pretty easy to tell because he has the exact animation that a giant would have that's pretty much it but he's also the only enemy in the game to have a backpack his backpack doesn't seem to carry anything though as it will fight for him like I said most things in the game if you're having trouble with them you can break them with impact this is another guy that's if you're really not able to take him down that easily you can get a good weapon that has a good impact like skycrone mace and just abuse him to death he can't really do much to you luckily if you do have a Decay Resistance potion or a Decay Boon on he doesn't actually do that much damage either which is great and if he took the her uh holy Mission faction Quest he actually does way less damage which is fantastic once the giant is down or the backpack is down kill the other the backpack is extremely easy has very low health so if you're thinking you're gonna have trouble with the giant go for the backpack first he's a piece of cake and if you've inflicted with confusion you can hit him one time to impact him it's hilarious this is how you get the porcelain fists the MK dropped the galvanic chakram earlier but is pretty useless I don't like that chakra there's way better chakrams so don't ever use that but the porcelain fists are fantastic the boss doesn't drop the key however you have to come out here and grab the gemstone key D this is the third gemstone key that we need so now we have all but one once we're done with that instead of leaving the dungeon like I said you can leave the dungeon through that bridge there we're gonna go all the way back down now you'll notice I thought about getting back on the elevator here and then I realized oh wait a second there's a secondary elevator system here all of these dungeons usually have a very easy way to get back to the beginning that way if you want to get back on the train you can to continue the quest now like I said you might want to stop off to get loot but I don't here because I'm showing you how to do this so you pull those levers those will bring an elevator all the way up to the top you cannot do this beforehand as these elevators are blocked off with corruption once you kill that Scourge guy these will be open to you so now you can go all the way back to the very bottom easily without getting on and off the elevator system just get on a different elevator system so once you're all the way back down here you just need to run out to the train it's pretty self-explanatory I'll let you watch this part for yourself [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] now that we are back into the out of the train we're in the next location and boy is this a fun one the frame rate killer actually before a current patch this area would completely break your PC and not allow you to play it because the frame rate would get so bad it has been at least somewhat fixed I never have issues with it anymore so that's good and you're going to mostly avoid enemies in this area there are a few you will have to fight here there is no getting around them as they block off uh actually you could technically get around them but they they kind of block your way so I usually try and kill them just in case they're gonna go all the way up these elevator systems just go straight up funny enough there's a entire ramp system that you can get up here secondary like just go a completely different way that area actually has enemies I don't know why they have that with the elevator system but if you want to go fight stuff you can do that you're gonna head all the way up here and grab the key make sure to do this before going anywhere else in this dungeon this is the Mana transfer elevator key this is extremely important and accesses the back part of this dungeon and if you don't grab it now you'll get to the back part and be like I don't know where to go and you get lost well you have to have this key once you have the key to go back down the elevator to the main floor don't go down both just go down the first elevator there you're going to see a couple of enemies here one of them is a shell horror the other is an elemental like I said usually the Elementals in this area they like to throw them in with another enemy the shell horror again this setup is amazing brace your way way so that you get 50 impact use your Shield charge you could inflict Elemental vulnerability with the shield and then beat him to death with skycrown maze this combo is nuts and with the infinite stamina we get from wearing Master Trader gear it's just perfect there's really nothing we don't have a lot of Defense Elemental or physical but that doesn't matter because we're going to be rarely getting hit uh with this build I also took mercenary that you might wondering why I'm going so fast and why I'd be able to move so quickly mercenary allows you to massively reduce how much stamina you're using and how much it increases your speed by 10 so it's really huge for stuff like this this is the giant shell uh Sublime shell Scourge be very careful here he's got a lot of high impact that's his main thing is impact actually luckily if you have flash Onslaught for confusion or you have I impact yourself it's not too bad and again lightning damage lighting damage and spirit varnish are the two things you're going to need for this entire entire Quest everything here is weak to it except for the humans in the very very beginning and they're not strong against it either so it still works here we have a unique enemy I love this enemy it's very very cool looking it is an elemental of every element thrown into wooden I love that they added this he is also very easy though as Elementals are not very difficult especially if you have high impact he does have very good loot make sure to grab that he could draw particles and a good potion the key that you're going to have come over here you'll see that there's these I tried to show this off here this is element these elevators here uh they go up and down so you can get back to the train once you activate this at this uh computer system you can go back and you'll see that it's moving up and down in case you want to go you can skip everything we just did if you go to the back of this room like I said the other gemstone key is here we need to get that first before we leave we need to go up this elevator system this is another area that's going to be filled with corruption you're just going to want to be prepped and prepared make sure that you have elemental or corruption fixing potions before you do this Quest you need at least five small or big it doesn't matter I like to have big ones you could buy them for The Alchemist in town they're not too bad this area is kind of a mess I guess it's supposed to be like a a battery type area they're it's but it also has all these vines in it it's kind of interesting The Scourge kind of have more control here I guess I'm not sure you're gonna go all the way back here and I usually fight these two enemies here since I'm not doing it this time I actually tried a new tactic if you crouch turn off your Lantern you can walk up to the gemstone key B the last one we need and not fight them they won't actually see you so maybe try this tactic if you don't want to fight these guys gemstone key B so now at this current point in the video we have all four keys if you were here for that you just want to know what the keys are you have them you can go back and fight the russellich now at that location what's really cool is there are some secrets that I'm going to show you at the end of this video the last part of the dungeon actually has a few locations you might not know about um so here I'm going around this you don't need to do this I got lost a little bit there's an exit here that I never ever take because it's most of the time this is the last place I go and if it's the last place you go you need to get back on the train and so I wanted to show you guys the exit here but I had to find it so the exit's actually right here it'll open up after you pull that lever up there you need to exit here just in case you want to come back in there's really no reason to come back in here not really so this one isn't that big of a deal but it might be an easy way to get from the top of the map to the bottom that could be something you could use it for foreign 's back inside you make it all the way back to the runic train and then go to the secondary location where you can open up the rust Ledger that we did earlier put in all four Keys pull the lever here talk to the rustless for a bit and the door will be opened this is the entire Quest next up you'll fight the boss you'll get to him by fighting golems and other enemies but I want to show you some Secrets before we end the video this stuff is pretty hard to find if you get this to that little light right there you could pull a chain that chain will open up this wall this wall will be completely just filled in it'll open this up you can go back here and check it out if you are interested in the lore of this dungeon the lore of this Quest the rust Lich harmatten uh The Scourge outbreak and what happened with the Golems this is the stuff that you need each one of these Secret locations has very interesting lore um about the guy who created all of it why he created all of it why he kind of went mad why he hates our Madden all that stuff it's very very interesting I highly recommend you check it out uh this is another area that's completely covered in corruption that's why I said you need those potions it's just gonna be a good idea to have killing enemies will grant you potions occasionally so just be aware of that I'm into the wrist room here and you'll get a second secret if you go over to this little uh block here in the corner this bronze part there's a button interact with the button it will go in it's very hard to see but you can activate it make it go in come back to where you were you actually have to backtrack for some of these this wall will now be open something I did not realize but other people told me about is if you die in this part of the dungeon this could be a possible destinario you'll show up in here and be able to push a button in here to open the door I didn't realize that I thought that was kind of cool now that we found that one that's that's two secrets so far so two secrets so far I'm gonna show you where each and every one is some of them are very tricky to find I spent probably a half an hour to 45 minutes on stream one time just trying to find one of them uh the lower laboratory key this is another key that is not necessary or at all it's just a key that unlocks the next area it'll unlock this right here but that Sublime shell is a very interesting enemy um he's a completely different color I think he's supposed to be unique as well it's very cool you can head all the way up here now I gotta warn you at this point in the video the rest of the dungeon is a pain in the butt at Gollum wise there are a ton of these golems and they will just gang up on you they don't throw one Golem at you and then another they throw two or three at you at the same time so be prepared for that Spirit varnish your way through this next entire part with this enemy defeated turn around go to the corner see this little torch right here pull it or interact with it push it I guess it opens up the wall there you see that icon that was on the wall it's like a chakram looking icon anywhere that you see that icon there's a secret wall I believe there was five of them in total uh but like I said I'm gonna show you all of them there is a secret area behind each and every one of those icons so if you're looking for these secrets you're like oh I can't remember what Sheen said I can't remember where they were at just know if you see the icon you know it's at least close the the mechanism that opens it is at least somewhere near that come up here pull this lever this will open up the door to the teleporter so you can go up at this point in the dungeon the idea is you're going up uh you start very low underground and you're just going to keep going up level by level this is the hardest part of the entire dungeon be very very careful uh there is a sword Golem and two boobies Golems um these guys have killed me several several times probably more than anything else in the game uh it's insane because two Beast Golems Alone by themselves are really really tough to deal with and the sore Golems is a beast once you have them taken care of come back here you can kill this sword Golem he's blocking a lever you'll need to grab the lever to open up the next part of the dungeon before we do that there is another secret here as well though I'm just making sure to show you this lever so you know where it's at um so once we grab this to defeat this guy which by the way sword Golem's high impact man holy cow they he was destroying me here I just kept blocking his attacks and then he would hit me after I braced him it was really annoying make sure to grab the misplaced lab lever will take you back over to the right there's another room with a bunch of vases you might be like this is weird to have faces in here the one in the corner is interactable interact with it it will move sideways and open up the next secret area backed by hand here in the library of sorts and this wall will be opened up this is actually the Catalyst area or wherever the Lich uh tried to turn people into a lich so they could control the Golems again very interesting lore and some of the books that are here if you want to read those come back out the lab lever that you just got uh make sure you place it here and you could open that that door there at the top of the stairs here this is another very challenging location because once again they throw two Beast Golems at you they really love to do this in this area and these guys are a pain in the butt also the terrain here will get you kill more than anything else these tables I've gotten stuck on them so many times it's not even funny man um just be very very careful spear varnish you should be fine and once you have them down do be aware there is another Secret in this room we're going to move on into the next room to find it though in here you will have a Golem and two Elementals be very careful they are going to deal a lot of Elemental damage to you and try to kill you quickly with them finished you come over to this bookcase here and you'll notice a book watch this interact with it it will move down very hard to find it was the only one I did not know about for the longest time I'm all the way back through this room in here go back into the other room and there you will have a secret wall that will have opened up again more lore more dead bodies trying to give you a type of environmental storytelling I don't know what this furnace is supposed to be not exactly sure why it's here uh maybe you can figure it out I don't know and that's the end of the dungeon guys that's it um I didn't show her with the rest because it's literally just walk up a ramp like I said these these areas are very linear so if you're kind of worried about missing small sections that I didn't walk to each area sometimes I tried to show almost everything other than walking down to the Mana Lake but they're all pretty linear so you should be able to figure it out and that's every key that you need this is the rustlich fight he's very very easy actually if you know what you're doing first time he's pretty he's pretty tough if you don't know what you're doing um but with the spirit varnish he's one of the easiest bosses of the game just because he doesn't have a lot of health and it takes a lot of damage and do be aware that there's another secret after this that's why I'm still showing you the footage because there's uh the Czar gauntlets if you're interested in getting those there's one last secret that you need I have time stamps down in the bottom if you were wanting to not see the rustletch fight till after you've done it all that stuff I will have that down there once you have all these Golems dealt with go over beat up the wrestlitch as much as you can make sure you destroy his filactory if you don't destroy his file actor he will come back every seven days and you can fight him again some people say he gets harder I fought him five times in a row and I wasn't harder at all for me um but then again if you have a good enough build it's hard to tell because this is a very easy boss in terms of his health so he might get harder I don't know but you need to destroy his file accurate to get the last secret um otherwise the Tsar gauntlets are blocked make sure you destroy this here you'll get the rust Lich set you'll also be able to check out a very cool map of the entire dungeon that we just went through up to the boss door interact with the picture here interact with the picture this is the secret mechanism to open up the door I like how they did this they had all these secret mechanisms to open this stuff up it's very cool so go back through you get a bunch of loot way more lore and these are gauntlets so thank you for watching Everybody hopefully you enjoyed hopefully this was helpful for you and I'll
