Coming in Clutch!! Working hard to get 500 plus hp

Mario's back there tying up his hot rod this Prelude is gorgeous give me erase the psca this weekend looking forward to seeing him fly oh you're good all right so we tuned this one about a year ago May of last year and we made how much power then will may last year was 250 May this year was 413 ok so this is the second tune this year all right so Mario is here to get a little more power for the race this weekend just put in bigger injectors put in 22 hundreds of walbro 450 pump and this is a GTX 3582 right yep cool it's looking good I'm injectors in it's a new fuel system now dial it in and try to make more power definitely should be able to do that this is also a pretty old bill to in it because you bought it with the engine all built and everything you just upgraded like clutch and other kind of stuff not like the transmission clutch are still the same ones okay so it's still a single disc clutch and stuff I have no idea what coaches in this you don't okay yeah yeah I know you have you're always at the track always running pretty good so we'll go ahead and get on it see if we can't mix power [Music] Mario's buddies drift team that's them how do you pronounce that Yong Yong ki Zuko that's what we're gonna say it is very cool but you got a clutch that's what Mario's alright we're gonna make a base pull real quick and see where tiny No that's great the steering wheel at were 397 we're pretty close to where we were yeah what kind of Duty are you seeing right now just so we know that that makes some of our issue 40 yet this all right here we were like 95% of all Florida had same boost about the same power you know within ten horsepower right here so the injectors that we change did solve that issue itself right on and keep trimming and then we can throw some booze daddy heck yeah man so what was it 47% okay so same boost you know we're within about ten horsepower and we're only at like forty-seven percent duty cycle so there's the smile 4:07 you picked up on the back burner you picked up on the back I got to see what that was but that's about it lost some on the front yeah week off pretty good yeah all right so we're still dialing in the fuel there's some booze changes made and we're gonna see how she performs oh my god [Applause] that booze cut already a little too much sauce there boss we're just trying to boost cut up there you go Cindy raised it a little bit shooting for some power goals let's more handle it I smell it now had to back it all back down all right so I was mowing through the clutch that pole so what I did was I pulled some quick spool out or build up out of it and then I applied a little more on top but still pulled some out from where I had it just so maybe I can use centrifugal force to keep the car clamped we fight I just took it out right there you heard it revving up but you see the losing power is just slipping through the clutch [Music] you no look at the power curve come down I think I burned through a bro put it back on gate and see what it does like pull off put it back on gay well red is always new so Mario's clutch step I said by shuttering super hard ain't gonna hold any power Jamie had a stage four in stock Mayra said let's do it because I want to race this weekend so it's me yeah so we moved it Derrick's is back on down over here include that later and we got Mario's on the lift so we're gonna go ahead and help him out and bust out a cluster job real quick and then get it back on the dyno and get this thing rolling start the wheels get the axles off the side move around take bolts off as I go get to this side pop the axle out do all the underneath stuff bellhousing drop the pull the clutch put it all back together and get er done let's go alright transmissions on the ground I already get this clutch off get the new one on stab it back in there roll again I think we're gonna eat first right Mario [Music] [Applause] go coming going like coming again we will study around here we got Brent yeah all right we got Mario's car back on the dyno clutch has changed time to try to make some power it's getting late so we're probably just gonna put those boot settings that we had earlier back in it make some stink get into the track and then we can dial in more there at the pse a race so all right let's get this thing Rocking all right Jimmy's gonna spread the tires real quick then we're gonna make a rig drink tighten the wheel they tighten the wheel okay [Music] [Music] there you go I think the clutch was holding you back quite a bit lots bro 562 [Music] [Applause] it came in like with a vengeance at the end even yeah what was the duty cycle on that one if you say the injector duty % but I do need after you okay that's no and then we're just shipping okay so are you gonna make another poll or no okay definitely a lot more car than it was so this was when he left last time it has been racing for thirteen Tom made 562 yeah that's a big difference clutch and springs and retainers six percent duty cycle and I'm putting in 53 right now so then the rest if we need to dial it back in at the track to get more than we know we can so do you guys went above and beyond today man like like can't believe it I thought I wasn't gonna race Friday you have to raise Friday and the biggest feeling not fun right we sponsor the race I cannot have a race or not show up bro but what a deal turned out fun week needs a little bit of love but we'll do it at the track and then if there's another moment we're all free we can put on the roller and we can dial
