COLLEGE MOVE IN VLOG // Virginia Tech 2019

all right not the best lighting but whatever welcome back to my vlog my name is Kendall if you're new here feel free to subscribe down below today we're doing a move-in vlog I'm moving back to school this is my junior year yeah so first year I get a vlog move in basically I'm just going to bring you guys along for the whole day and you'll probably get a sneak peak of my constant apartment and all that so right now we don't even know what time it is all the way in the bathroom okay it is 7:20 we are aiming to leave by like 8:00 so we can get down there it's like a four-hour drive so we're gonna try to get down there at noon I still need to put some concealer on just like both but otherwise yeah so I need to like tidy up my room a lot little light shipping so it looks nice when I come home there's a couple things I need two last-minute pack but I think we'll be good so yes basically this is what's going on this is stuff that I kind of forgot to pack this stuff right here and then I just need to like clean up this a bit I meant to try all these overalls on but I never did we need to just figure out what to do with those make my bed and such so yes this is what I'm wearing but matters Lululemon shorts on my favorite texture it's it's super soft and it's move-in is in the name of comfort so yeah that's not tall enough I'll just see when we get down here oh you're just gonna nail that whatever for those who don't know I but those who don't know I go to Virginia Tech I'm gonna be a junior and yeah so basically the living situation I'm living in a two-bedroom two-and-a-half-bath lake house type of thing so it's two floors one floor is like the living spaces the in all areas and then the second floor has our bedrooms and I'm really excited it's supposed to be really cute renovated and like white counters and all that stuff I don't think anything is gonna I like a race that we're not all perfect guys yeah I have some serious bags and under-eye issues the bags aren't always that bad but the under eyes it's like the skin is super thin so you can like see the vein and you just can't fix that like I mean except with like concealer you can't like be that go away [Music] okay so you got you got it yay good boy good boy oh do you know where you're going Cody doesn't get to go to college but that's okay you gets to go to pick his favorite place I can't say the word yet yeah look at him go now Cody stay in here yeah good point all there is all right mom's turn um can I sit here are you gonna go to Tech with Kindle ha are you but buddy you're my seat okay I guess I need to sit down oh you're gonna come on back to mommy that was so smart Wow first time ever he's minded ever I was actually pretty good alright we are ready to start driving out to tech for hours like I said earlier that's froggy by the way my mom put in there it's just kind of chilling but yes Daddy I think it's gonna rain like on and off for the whole trip so I hope that goes okay and I guess I don't need these but yeah also we just dropped Cody off at the kennel so I get bored and he's so excited like he was swagging a sale so much and he's not super like expressive like he doesn't get that excited about things he was like wagging his tail so much it was crazy like he could not contain himself and it was really cute makes me happy to drop him off when I know he's gonna have fun so yeah my mom is driving with me and she really wants to be in the vlog so everyone be nice to her just kidding obviously it would be okay this is tripping on the oh it's raining now for hours officially moving back to school great great just there's the red whole building we are an hour and a half away from tech oh wait oh when you have a passenger Oh ragi you keep it putting on it then I got my matcha almond milk latte a half sweet it's still pretty sweet but it's good and what did he ask you he was like do you want like like classic for Kate and I was like boy as I finally get there's like classic sugar or whatever they put it the classic like sweetener and then there's sugar which they use really paste he brings what have a stupid it is classic questions don't know probably just like at least is not Mumford yeah or like they've got it I mean how Bobby's gonna divorce yeah no anyway it's TV is fall Superboy what wait a minute I am your copilot Superboy wait we solved the mystery of Marilyn Monroe although actually we have done we tend more effort we've been listening to a podcast about the death of Marilyn Monroe I also I showed mom the artist lil Dicky what did you think it was actually it was actually really funny yeah it was so funny I showed her a couple like the white crimes yeah like I said we're sneaking candy into I wait to the 7-eleven every beautiful genius for cookies before I went to the movies the other day and it was so expensive and I was like this defeats the point of committing this crime if you're just gonna charge me at the 7-eleven but then I went in the key individual can you really $8 there or something absurd I know and I got to know if you go to CVS they're legit a dollar above scapula same sanity yeah what is the thing he's like too close to that it thinks that there's a base pair so it thinks it needs to be there you find repair the okay whatever so it stopped raining that's good yeah and I wish this would had it packed beautifully with these like super organized containers Kindle my repacked okay are you ready it is actually optimized and I can totally see on the back but it it's a little lot handmade different themes oh my gosh and I'm also I was not good at spelling and so avoided a bag runs in the family I was knockin it's spelling at all and so all of my webkinz had like different names but they were usually like spelled wrong well they were usually like kind of they were related to the type of animal they were but I spelled them also cryptic little doggy looks like he's on yeah alright friends so I just waited in it in an hour and a half line to get my key but I finally got it so it's time to move in also check out my dad just like sleeping in that car can't really tell but yeah it finally time to move in and that was just like the least organized studying in which sex occurred whatever it's over so let's go [Applause] hello wait how do you guys get it a lot are you kidding look at all these pots and pans like you guys are gonna be doing so much cooking so much I don't so much chefs yeah I can't wait for the first the first recipe is going to be gum in the oven got a head start yeah I don't think I have enough light like zoom in on the gum situation in there but it's early but it is in oh we don't even know what it is but I'm just hoping this go that's case so crazy I am such a good videographer yes let's see what's going on oh my god they're still hard at work wait what's happening tell me what your ideas are for the kitchen okay so if you you know okay I'm coming on yeah so you see we have this space here hold on and we're trying to maximize wait let me zoom in yeah okay it's a black we are blank wall so we're trying to utilize the space we have right so maximize this wall to the academics guys one is do we need more power space or to be anymore or we give you like a counter with that okay let's let's assess the storage right now oh yes yeah I probably mm-hmm I think you're overloaded well let's check let's check here oh my gosh yes there's no way you're gonna survive I think you might wait wait oh oh my god how do you have so much you're getting I'm gonna slam this thing but I'll never get into a fight we got do it again wait you guys know how about the ER Tendo or how about the dietary restricted refrigerator like you can only open it 70% look yeah kitchen air it only gets you 70% so you like yeah portion control it is it's right it's right sized however no no even worse all right so what's happening here they should pay for the pillow situation oh he's taking hold of [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] alright guys so finally everyone's done right now because Emma is off to my roommate is off to eat dinner and the parents are gone so it's sad but I haven't been able to film a lot and like talk through it because like I want respect people aren't always wanting to be filmed so yeah I'm gonna show you a little bit of my progress basically my mirrors here I did make my bed when she saw a clip of and then I have that is upside down but those are hung and I that this thing is hung my desk I saw some of this stuff to take care of and like that got to get my TV working the router like our Wi-Fi is not working math needs to be organized my closet is organized so it's like kind of just organized chaos to be honest but and then there's the light in it which is good so yeah and then it's actually really okay so our AC is broken it's like not working so all our windows are open and thank God it's like 60 degrees right now which is kind of weird it was like hot yesterday and now it's like 60 degrees and overcast and chilly so all the windows have been open and it's like actually cold in here so that's been really nice I'm about to go to Kroger I'm about to go to Kroger because I have literally no groceries and yeah but I will show you what we did outside so far so this is my room right and then this is my bathroom it's across right there off the hall and then Emma's room is first the back so we have our dining table and stuff and then we have some decor we still need to hang and in our living room we have a work-in-progress still but looking good and our kitchen love the white countertops in the backsplash and you have our little like station thing here which I don't know I'm going to the store I'm gonna get an insta pot or I know it's loud the windows are open but I'm gonna get stuff for my insta pops I'm gonna cook dinner and I really need to that's Emma's shelf but I need to do mine and then I don't really know it's kind of awkward to split up but yeah so that's the progress it's cold like it is actually cold outside and I won't like a jacket which is dumb because I didn't bring any jackets to school I didn't think it would be cold but yeah so I'm going to go and do that and then probably fight with the people about the air conditioning and then fight with them again about the Wi-Fi so my whole talk to you guys later and almost end to the moving blog but
