College Football 25 Road to Glory Episode 1

finally college football is back with EA Sports college football 25 after a decade of waiting for a new college football game it is finally here which means the start of not only my new Road to Glory series which this is going to be but also dynasties a stream Dynasty on Twitch we got a lot going on so make sure to subscribe if you're interested make sure you like what you see first though but hopefully you will and we have to decide which type of recruit we actually want to be you have Elite five star you get a mental ability five skill points 79 overall to start Blue Chip 75 overall four star mental ability one skill points four and then underneath that no mental abilities contributor is just a three star and then the underdog is a two star recruit we have to decide who we want to be and while I can appreciate the grind of an underdog I think contributor is going to be where I want to start it's the most balanced you're a three star 67 overall you will have a chance to earn that starting job soonish but we're not to come in as a maxed out fstar or even a fourstar top you know 100 200 to 300 commit in the country we're going to be a three star no mental abilities to start I have all the mental abilities I need right here and then three skill points to upgrade and we will also be choosing a quarterback for those familiar with my channel you know I typically don't do me as the main character in a Road to Glory or a career mode as fun as it would be to see a skinny white guy career where I get water for the starters we're going to choose somebody else and I'm throwing it way back to one of my first and actually maybe my main first NCAA series on this channel the Ozark State Outlaws Scrambler quarterback Colby Spencer I mean he was a monster back in N 14 for me mobile quarterback transfer I cannot believe that series is like 6 years old at this point yes he was a fourstar player but as a transfer so we're starting out from high school at this point 611 180 from lrange Georgia this is kobby Spencer and the reason why I'm explaining all this is cuz I already know I'm going to get people who Skip around and then go to the comments that doesn't look like you think we're going over the top two for the release and here is Kobe Spencer three mental abilities below are controlled by individual meters that you can upgrade by completing objectives it will continue to weigh your options which of these is the most important competing for a national championship getting on the field early playing in a prestigious conference or finding a program that will develop me interesting well you know what Colby Spencer was a team leader he was a transfer to Ozark State and the ultimate goal was always to win a National Championship that's why you play the game we want nil deal opportunities state-of-the-art athletic facilities or a coaching staff with significant experience well kobby is a star and needs to be treated and paid as such give us the nil deals let's make some actual money and we want to play I don't care if people know who the coach is we want to play we want to get on the field and make a difference make an impact get us out there Donna okay so here on Signing Day we have a number of different options I really haven't thought very much about this where do we want to play so we play is that Tate raker yeah be transferred from FSU to Southern Miss So currently he's projected to be the starter do we want to play somewhere where we are the starter right away I mean you could go anywhere right and and just be on the team either as a preferred walk-on uh or you know on the bench obviously Texas is no interest and I'm a big Texas guy hook him Kobe Spencer probably not going to play at Texas Trey Owens is a 79 off the bat goodness we could also always transfer I kind of like kenesa State we can be the starter right away now low nil opportunities sure but if we play well and bring Kennesaw State to the promised land we could transfer and leave them in the dust and go play for a winner we're going to sign with kosau State okay we just got three skill points here let's go ahead and throw down so the top stories are nothing right now but we can up our player three skill points to start is already nice so we have power here throw power Trucking strength stiff arm and jumping 85 throw power off the bat isn't great but it could be worse elusiveness we have agility break sack change of Direction juke move break tackle and spin move a lot of these ratings actually don't look that bad already the accuracy is kind of in a not so great spot to be honest what about quickness only 80 speed ooh I mean I guess 80 is not terrible but I was hoping for like 85 maybe 84 cost 10 skill points to upgrade that well we play quarterback think an accuracy could be good I don't really think that this IQ stuff is going to be worth it and elusiveness I'd rather be quick for right now so we're just going to hold on to these for a minute so let's go ahead and Advance the week and get this road to glory underway Colby Spencer here we go so as you go through this you're you're going to want to try and keep everything as high as possible for the most part right right now we are completely clueless Kobe Spencer is a dumbass no leadership abilities but you know what he is healthy they say the best ability is availability I would argue that the best ability is ability but we don't really have a lot of that yet so Philip winners find yourself thrust into the starting role with Kennesaw State in your first Collegiate season what are you looking forward to most this year Well playing in front of the fans maybe Colby Spencer's mom's going to show up I don't know I don't know if the seats are going to be packed here at kosas State we got to we got a transfer I know we committed here yesterday we got to transfer already so we got to show that we're capable of being a Collegiate Superstar make plays get before it is not particularly difficult I think scramble survive could be interesting let's pop in see what we can do so here's what you have to do escape the pocket before it becomes a penalty Zone this is all about Mobility buy time until time to throw timer runs out it's going to be 3 and a half seconds then you throw to an open receiver it's easy you can run into hot spots you can throw touchdowns here we go it's all about getting out as quickly as possible and then of course not getting sacked trying to get as many extra points as possible and oh no oh no somebody get open here am I missing somebody RB open please intercepted okay if my first throw a college football 25 wasn't a pick you guys would think this is a fake video so you know what that's just how it's going to be sometimes got to find somebody open a little bit earlier and there it's going to be that's a touchdown we're going to be back we're still going to get gold or we won't those are kind of the options I'm going to need like every plus 500 here okay seems kind of fast we should be able to throw a touchdown across here RB open on the money not intercepted now we're on fire can't be stopped I don't know I just I didn't know where to look the first time around all right Spencer fast enough we can get out here somebody get open to the corner stay in drag the foot we're in so that's bronze the interception is actually extremely tough that really hurts our chances of getting gold here but you know what not every practice is going to be your best one why are you fast oh my goodness plee offensive line please pick up the block oh my goodness all right we're back up give me The Hot Zone nope how do we still have energy crossbody set plant touchdown is that gold I think that's gold somehow we managed to do it 21,200 points it didn't look especially pretty but we got the job done and that's all that matters sometimes right Johnny Football wasn't a superstar player CU he sat in the pocket and made good throws right the guy played like a maniac got it done if you can be flashy and still accomplish all your goals that's what's going to take kobby Spencer up to Superstar level and we have to play Florida State no we don't we are not Georgia de why are they showing me that I don't care what they're up to in the ACCC don't care okay weekly agenda here what do we want to do we have six energy points well we've been examined 8 weeks we got to study a little bit right and we gain coach trust by doing that three energy remaining we should also get some XP rocking because we need to just be a better player and I think also let's try to get a little bit of leadership that really didn't do a whole lot but okay that's our energy for the week I think we allocated it fairly well it's a bye but we probably have to get ready for game number one how much preseason action is there going to be the meter looked like it was going the wrong way that I didn't like that at all first game is going to be at UTSA we're going to practice I don't think that we're going to upgrade our player yet I want more skill points let's hit up the weekly agenda First Health we're doing like pretty fine not really worried about much of that although minus one to throw power isn't actually great we already don't have the best arm in the world let's go for bore XP get another skill point and then leadership we don't need to be leader it's day one whatever we're going to study we're going to hit the books the exams in 7 weeks if we fail we might be academically ineligible so we got to stay above a two GPA but ideally if we can get a three that'd be cool that's how I know it's a video game oh no we got a where did all this we hair come from minus five throw power minus six even overall and the no the right it's going to what is the throw power on Kobe Spencer right now six the there's so many negatives to throw power we already don't have a good arm I have no energy okay possible bonus points for touchdowns we work him up field yes we can that should be a touchdown all right playmaker might be the way to do this just holding the right stick up I didn't look at any of the routes for the first time I had no idea what we were doing and we'll see if these guys can work after catch we have time we're not going to throw a touchdown every play necessarily we can't hot route which makes sense uh I don't know I don't know where to go with the football Corner work to work to the ball all right we're playing with a bunch of idiots ball probably should have come out earlier I get that I knew I'm throw picks welcome to the series I will be launching interceptions and we we have no throw power I okay there's another one the no throw power thing is kind of tough the ball's going to have to come out really early we're going to have to throw with a lot of anticipation which a lot of college quarterbacks just don't do in general we have a noodle for an arm right now and with his health things are in a really really really bad spot just get the ball out early beat the safety touchdown okay uh we're not doing well at all but who knows maybe we can turn it around here running back wide open yeah step out of bounds Jesus up the seam that could be a touchdown get to the end zone okay we we got bronze is there a way we can get silver here probably not I tried to get the ball out early very much did not work that could be a touchdown though it's not going to be we're going to get bronze here yeah I knew a pocket drill in me was going to be a pretty terrible mix you better get to the end zone here oh I mean we weren't even close to Silver not even close but we did level up the health is in a bad spot that's something we're actually really going to have to focus on but we got to jump into a game Kobe Spencer might actually die on the field as we try to take on the UTSA road runners who are in 83 overall compared to our 71 I don't think it's going to go especially well but hopefully we just got the interceptions out of our system and we're going to be ready to go for Game Time tiesman difficulty my expectations are they're fairly low UTSA takes the field and Colby Spencer high risk of injury oh my God we'll see what we can do there he is out there make a play three this is a good call take the ball out of the hands of Kobe Spencer give it to the running back also I probably will want to back up but this is like the more Road to Glory type camera so maybe we will stay in there running back takes it up the middle changes Direction really not the way you want to run that inside own play but he's looking for space can't find any second and long run it these offensive coordinators man they don't they don't want it outside run completely swallowed up maybe that's why we don't run on second and long cuz now it's third and long what are our chances of converting here I don't love it I might have to end up changing this camera angle and 10 I mean their front actually says that we might be able to run on them Let's see we don't we're not blocking at all I mean not even a little bit and then play action on second and 10 that'll fool him cuz we ran on second and long last time we're going to have to try to buy time and ideally hit one of these posts the inside one I think is going to be open based on where the defense is lining up we're under pressure and Sack where's the offensive line kobby Spencer is going to die on the field Step Up make a play nope fourth and 20 blaze it we need a quick hitter just get us in the zone here oh no I accidentally zoomed out a little bit so I can see what I'm doing just hand it off that's a play that's a great read from Colby Spencer that's a team leading type play we'll keep it on the ground RPO might be the way to go though all right they have what is that four five six seven maybe even eight in the box if you count that outside corner that's close I don't know about this one yeah but I don't have the authority to change anything at the line and then we're going to run on second and 11 this offensive coordinator is an idiot oh shocker it didn't work throw a block oh we get some coach trust for that okay third and 11 we can we can actually change no bannan can't even hear us it's UTSA we're not in Tuscaloosa you can hear me get it out Colby miss the throw it's dead and we lose coach trust for that minus 10 for an incompletion oh W first and goal ball on the one defense came up clutch and that's a touchdown we didn't really do much but if Colby Spencer booted the snap I mean that touchdown never would have happened so uh we're going to count that touchdown for kobby Spencer one in the books we are on the board UTSA is yet to score so our defense is actually playing very well the problem is our offense is not and I'll tell you what yeah maybe some of it is me some of it is the play calling dude but these RPO runs actually seem to be pretty good the other stuff is not working oh no power option okay we'll see if we want to keep this thing get out there get up the field it's a decent job actually by the contained player so not really able to make a ton happen there but I think a screen actually could be extremely effective with how they've been getting after the quarterback all day we got blockers out in front speed to the outside and finally a first down nice I don't love the design runs though it seems like they're ready for it every time where are you going get up the field north south he's running backwards you're not Barry Sanders brother all right second and 13 I'd love to not run the ball here but it actually that's an incredible move from the back to get three yards it man it look like so many more we got to use the legs of Colby Spencer swim move on the outside broken tackle and we had a yard maybe I think we I think it was third and 10 I think we lost couple all right it's an offensive coordinator problem it's not a skill issue the offensive coordinator is killing us this is going to work well play action get out there get up the field sacked I'm trying to playmaker up the field and he's just not moving this is the least mobile scrambling quarterback I've ever used in any game third and 15 screen yeah maybe this will work we'll see we barely can even get the ball out there but it's not that bad of a play we get 10 back can we go hurry up they're not going to let us all right that makes sense severe risk of injury now we have no accuracy speed throw power this is not great we got to really really worry about our health that's something we're learning let's get finer up the field here and hopefully they're in his own defense that'll let us make a play nope okay this it's got to be at least a little bit of an o line problem right broken tackle we got to make something happen off this just nope not going to happen what if we actually Tred to sit in the pocket and make a throw yeah that's what I thought severe risk of injury we're not even to the end of the first half yet I do worry a little bit about Colby Spencer he has no accuracy that's actually caught turn up the field he I don't even know if he knew he caught that he was completely in shock deer in headlights had the football in his hands though get out get out not fast enough I really feel like you know Colby should be a little bit more agile it's it's not happening third and long we get the ball out there that's actually a great throw and it's intercepted so great that it was picked I mean third and long you know you're going to take some type of a shot try to pick it up I mean these are horrific numbers but we haven't had a lot of help and now we're down by seven we're going to run the ball to end the first half K's because of his health and overall skill is not in any position to make a comeback at all hopefully the second half goes better offensively but here's my prediction it won't it won't here we go second half got the football let's see if our offense is capable of doing anything I like that read Get Up the field throw a block Kobe he just got punched in the face he got ko'ed okay oh man didn't know that was a thing but that's why you see the quarterbacks usually get out of the way and not try to throw blocks my offensive line is just a bunch of morons it's a good play though that's a good play good cut from the back there it is the Run game is working when we have misdirection the design runs really not going all that well okay all go it's a bad play call and I'll tell you why the guys do not get any Separation on vertical routes they don't I mean actually none just going to try to dump it off to the back who had no idea that he was even involved in the progression at all third and long I hate this team already hate them we made a mistake oh you're wide open get up the field finally a successful passing play third down conversion is successful and we're knocking on the door tie in this game up I'd love to hit him off play action UTSA really keeps having so many defenders in the Box let's run towards the strong side of our formation yeah not great I could see the jet touch pass being good use their aggression against them this time fewer guys in the Box they have more contained players that I could see being a problem see if we can actually get out there and run and you had it to the outside dude third and seven running Slants get up the field a successful run Spencer first down finally we were able to run didn't slide even though Spencer's risk of injury is it's beyond severe his body is made of glass I would like to try and punch this in though we have to score jet touch pass again yeah CU it went so well the first time receiver in motion this actually could be extremely successful okay got a few yards there sets up third and goal on the three play action hit uh hit Kent in the corner for a touchdown get the ball out dude I'm spamming pass we should go for it here taking the field goal is stupid trust Colby Spencer now it was probably the right move oh now we have the ball on our own four let's see how this is going to go I bet badly please don't get saftied are we get to the outside but not really got two yards second and eight we I mean he keeps getting outside the problem is you're not getting any yards and now we're going to run play action from our own five I really don't like the idea of this we're going to pull it back and we're just going to let it fly Spencer got it broken tackle huge play down the field on third nine okay I didn't really expect that but if you get the ball out early good things can happen it's actually possible working off play play action again on the Move we don't have the arm to throw where I want it I actually don't mind the second and 10 run I can see this being effective I can see this being effective and there goes the back benafield over 50 on the day that's not very impressive it's the fourth quarter another RPO yeah I think we just keep it there it is I mean don't look now but this is a potential game-winning Drive let's flip this to the other side I like that up the middle got a few back third and four will they trust us to throw they will I don't trust to slot fade I think it might end up being a check down we're going to read Y and B here B's open you got to get the first we're going to be short but we're going hurry up fourth and one got to have it no question we're getting on the Move there's space a block from five would have been nice and I can see Benfield being wide open here that's a possibility we're going to get on the Move we're actually just going to dump it down I think that's a smarter play second and three up the middle no b no up up the Middle where are you going read option could be good we need that that look at where the corner is we need him to crash down hard if this is going to be successful run he's not going to which means the back's got to get it and he did not get enough fourth and one it says I have three Play Changes remaining I don't really want to run here but oh my God not a pitch dude not a pitch H they they taking the ball out of Kobe Spencer's hands is a mistake there's the pitch the back actually made a move Benfield still on his feet inside the five oh my goodness do you believe in miracles unreal here's a run back shut down we're on the 10 now all right we're going to have to get fancy here third and goal obvious four down territory this does not need to be to the end zone space up the middle Spencer moving stiff arming still on his feet down at the one oh my goodness we do have three timeouts so if we don't get this the game's not over if the defense can make a stand but I like the way things look here on the field one yard to go we have a levels concept basically we have a mesh with the back in the tight end this could be good to the running back didn't get it uh so here's what I'm learning about the running back is he's an idiot with simply no idea when the ball's being thrown to him I mean literally none and that ends up being the game we're going to get dropped at the hands of the UTSA road runners 1410 Luke Macau that's not his name that's that's a former NFL QB it is Josh P son Owen I'll tell you it was a little bit difficult we didn't really get the blocks that I was looking for mostly and um we ended up going 9 for 19 for 122 no touchdowns in a pick it could have been worse to be honest we ran the ball a little bit I mean averaging less than a yard per carry is never good 11 attempts for negative -2 yards the running back was not much better it was overall kind of a tough game well that all of that doesn't look great so we're going to have to work on health that is clearly going to be an emphasis uh point a point of emphasis for us going forward because uh we were simply incapable of doing anything at some points in the game there so I would say that that actually might be the most important thing all right academic advisor if you ignore studying your GPA will plummet come exam week but if you finish each of your first three years with at least a 3.7 you can graduate early and not have to worry about grades when you're a senior that's I don't think that's going to be worth it to be honest so I think we we're going to say thank you we're polite sounds good but listen we didn't come here to play school came here to play football so right Ricky slicks Barber Shop nil offer record a video of you getting a haircut here and put it on your social
