speak how are we all hi Creator holic hi Karen Taylor sorry I just literally some going to walk through the door in a sec um how are we all it's Friday good morning it's beautiful beautiful it's it's crisp it's cool it's cold it's the weekend it's the weekend how are we all feeling how are we all doing let me just turn Nick for Ferrari off he does go on doesn't he morning Faith Goodman we're going to do we're going to rapidly run through quiz of the week um not entirely sure if there's going to be a coffee moaning papers tomorrow so just pre-warning you but there will be a live no-name Sunday show on Sunday morning Sandy morning everyone morning faith hope you're all well so what are we going to be chatting about today let's let's run straight in there should we get get FR just get fridy by a Coller and slam him around a bit um we we're going to be talking about OJ Simpson got these glasses I can't seem to OJ Simpson my God OJ Simpson that seems so seems so long ago and in many regards it was it was 28 years ago 1995 OJ Simpson am I imagining it or was OJ Simpson for a while like a sort of movie star was he was he the one in the Naked Gun Who falls down the stairs in the in the in a motorized wheelchair and then is fired into the middle distance is that right you remember the car chase hi there you right just live all good um yeah OJ said it's weird he sort of became a comedy character and then there was the whole there was the whole court case uh I kind of think he was guilty he was found innocent this is the weird thing he was he was cleared wasn't he was acquitted as I remember it around the idea that his the gloves were too small was that right there's a whole B wasn't he represented by Kim Kardashian's dad isn't there the suggestion that he's had a romantic diance with someone somewhere isn't there isn't there is there there's that part of the whole um so yeah so he was he was acquitted of any criminal charges but he was found guilty of civil charges wasn't he so he was so isn't that weird how you can be found guilty of something in a civil case which usually involves money and all that kind of stuff but not in a in a criminal case so yeah he's died at the age of 76 surrounded by his kids he died he he died after a battle it's that word again battle with cancer apparently not that long ago um he was back in 2008 he was imprisoned again for nine years for armed robbery and kidnapping at a Las Vegas hotel I mean you know you know it was a bit of a you know and the the the the nature of the he was an American footballer wasn't he wasn't the nature of the the the murder the death of the poor woman and her boyfriend was it or her husband um wasn't it just awful Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend that's right Ronald Goodman um so he was found responsible for civil case so anyway so obviously he's died you know he's one of those sort of notorious characters isn't he there was that wasn't there the um the ser by God what's the name of that [ __ ] annoying guy who does American Horror Story he does American Crime Story what's the name of the producer oh bloody H forgotten his name he does all that sort of stuff um he's everything he makes is the same program he did nurse ratchet and all that kind of stuff anyway and and he was played by that I'm doing really well here AR I he was played by God who the Cuba Gooding was he played by Cuba Gooding Jr I think he was I think it was it also had um Sarah Paulson in it didn't it um these glasses are no good maybe it's my eye I can't [ __ ] see it everything's blurry and milky and Misty and um Ryan whatever his name is Ryan something or other I saw the autopsy photos Mr Cardinal of Nicole made me puke her head was nearly chopped it was Savage it was visceral it was awful it was um just so so awful so yeah um yeah Mr K awful put your amga man which one of my amga man glasses are they these ones or the other ones um OJ loved the attention so yes he got yes anyway so he died but anyway Caitlyn Jenna uh whose ex-wife obviously Chris Jenna was a close friend of the footballer I don't know what that means uh said bluntly good riddance in response to OJ's death um and the uh speaking to Sky News the Goldman family's lawyer David Cook uh said he still believes Simpson was a murderer and the fact he died doesn't change it so no love lost there whatsoever and I think he had wasn't he was he defended by duritz Alan duritz he had a hell of a c how did he manage to pull together such a good team was it was it quite something um but was he I sometimes get confused with OJ Simpson on the one hand on the one hand um was was he sort of seen as a sort of not a not a champion was he not seen as a kind of hero in some way was he a sort of anti-hero when he won the case I mean he carried people with him didn't he I mean people were split down the middle in terms of he wasn't just all bad he wasn't just considered a baddy was he or was he I don't know it's a very odd one was he was he might have been rich but was he that rich I don't know she wasn't friend of Simpson Chris was the friend of his ex Nicole um so was anyone found guilty of the murders no he was just found guilty in a civil case that's interesting isn't it it's like well if he didn't who did um case was an indictment of LAPD I me I have to say the the ra what's the name of the producer Ryan Murphy I it Ryan Murphy he produced the show is it was a good show we watched it we liked it um the wigs were bad but it but it was good so that's big news today OJ Simpson um k stas going nuclear I just want to pop this up really I just want us all just for a minute just to sit and just look we are am if you please we are if you don't please you are those eyes those dark deep Soulful expressive humanitarian feeling empathetic eyes is there anything in there I mean obviously there's something in there there's gry matter he's bright he's sharp is get used to that we're going to have to look at that geiza that's how Geer for the next five years that's how Geer anyway what why am I talking about him I just I kept I found this photo and I just find I find it alarming sometimes how little there can be behind people's eyes you know you look at someone's eyes and there's just nothing there and it's the shark attack eyes it's the let me just move this way so the light is a bit better um it's the it's the shark attack his eyes are inexpressive it's just I sorry I I just we are if you please put we are so what's the what's the name of the animal was it in Jungle Book the Snake look at me and it does the kind of they're hardly magn they're hardly mag they're hardly ins snaring or kind of you know magical but this I I think what's alarming me the reason I keep plopping up a photo of his stupid face is I can't get over how there's nothing in those eyes sorry sorry I just just wanted to share that with you um but anyway so K starma he's pledged to uh maintain he's going to spend two and a half% of GDP uh he's going to make he's going to build nuclear weapons he's going to keep the nuclear deterrent going look let's face it who believes in the nuclear deterrent I mean I mean okay so look everyone in the world's like we won't find one at you I mean I think if Putin knew that no one else had one I think he would have used them I think there is there is a thing called a nu nuclear deterrent Faith nuclear missile I think is not right idea as we will never have as many as Russia yeah and this is my point you're absolutely right Faith so it's literally boys with their toys isn't it it's like let's we've got three or four as we've discovered when we fire them they go in the wrong direction or they plop they literally go and they land in the sea so we've got no guarantee that we're going to be able to use them and if we use them we've got no guarantee they're not going to land in New York or possibly the aisle of white um so I you know it's all well and good saying we're going to have nuclear let's make sure it's a nuclear deterrent that goes in the right direction but the problem is is even if we had 20 of the [ __ ] that all went in the right direction at the right time um Russia's got so many more uh I I was watching the beginning of a new series on Prime which we're going to I'm going to watch and Review called Fallout and uh there was a moment at the beginning there where it's no spoiler there are about 1 2 3 four five nuclear explosions Russia could take us out in six seconds apparently we've got enough ammunition to last 4 days or possibly four hours we're rubbish but I'm not saying that like we need to be better I mean at the end of the I think what we have to accept existentially is if someone decides to take us and let's face it who wouldn't want the Alla white if someone tries to take us I think I think we just go all right all right guys all right it's notional that's Scotland that's Wales we're England just have it I think the best approach would be just say go on all right all right what can you do for us can you I mean if they could guarantee that the uh you know London Underground ran properly and the Oyster card was reliable I I you know get my V morning Lee Daren late get to the back of the class just talking about this guy uh lee look look I am if you please there he is what charma what charma charma starma sta he's a starma charma anyway kiss starma God Almighty can you believe it we're going have to listen to his whining voice for years now um I'm not saying I'd rather not have anyone but the Tories but he's he's shot himself not only in his foot but in his left shoulder too for me where his approached to G can never ever unsee it in those cold inexpressive eyes Okay so yesterday uh there was a piece I think nad's discussed this yesterday about having a baby at 41 um uh being selfish Rachel burden apparently on uh BBC bre uh BBC broadcaster uh she said that having a child in your 40s is selfish disgust do you agree I think Nadia said the same is but is we've talked a lot about this actually we've talked about this quite a bit in a more sort of impressionistic fashion and yes there's the age aspect I don't necessarily think having a child at 40 is too old now um but is having I I think when we used to do Confessions of a modern parent we the one of the big most interesting conversations I think we had and I think it speaks to a number of things that we don't like to ever talk about is you know when kids say I never asked to be here and we as adults go that's a really [ __ ] stupid thing to say uh it's a you know of course you what do you mean you didn't ask to be it can't be angry well maybe youngsters in this generation do have a right to be slightly angry about saying we didn't ask to be here because you know at the end of the day having kids is selfish in so far as it's inherently selfish in so far as why do we actually I mean okay let's Okay I want you to answer this why do we actually have children why do we actually why do you think we actually have children Sandy doesn't think it's selfish at all I mean don't you know look I love my kids and I'm so pleased I've got them all four beautiful daughters but why do you think uh what's the difference well yes I mean when you start to get into that Sean Thomas you're absolutely right you start say well 42 okay well 39 3 years what are we looking at here I mean you know the idea that I mean n had Kiki 42 so she'll be yeah she'll be 60 61 when she's 18 uh that kid is your responsibility for 18 years well Mr Cardinal there in is lies an interesting fact your kids are never your responsibility for 18 years they're your responsibility for life in so far as emotionally you're caring for them emotionally you're worrying them to make ah Wonder Woman has summed it up other neatly to make our lives happier interesting interesting that simple phrase to make our lives happier speaks a thousand problematic things I was thinking the other day just going off on a side tangent because my ADHD brain is doing that today if any does anyone know the shinger cat uh is it a nuclear astrophysicist philosophical thing the idea that if there's a cat in a box but you can't see The Cat In The Box is there a cat in the Box maybe there isn't a c but I think that's a gross simplification I was thinking we should call it not Shing as C but we should call it schrdinger Hamas because it's the same policy Israel use there might be a Hamas person in that building so let's blow it up I'm calling it shring as Hass um but no being serious [ __ ] serious but being kind of interesting not me but you wonder woman I think that to make our lives happier so that is selfish but is selfish I think this is what NY was driving at is selfish or why is selfish always seen as a bad thing if you look at it selfish I want to be more about self myself I want to be more selfish I think people who just take take take and don't care for anyone else and are willing to nudge people out the way and don't care if other people struggle or suffer I think that's I think that's where you start to get into selfishness but come on guys give us iong for a baby took a long while excuse me sorry uh Sandy uh I was 34 36 9 when I had our babies yeah no look I think having babies is is a lovely I mean I have to conf I say that but you know babies I mean I like babies but they boring I mean let's be honest babies are Bor boring toddlers are terrifying on mass don't don't stop me on my there needs to be a new category of toddler phobia but toddlers on mass in a group I was saying to one of my girls the other day I said you know there if you were to put put your hand if you not that you should and I'm not advocating this but if you were to know push a toddler in the face get away from me it would be so sticky wouldn't it and the other thing is is that toddlers have the capacity to ask those questions that sociopaths ask which is you know they they'll come up to you and they'll look at you and they'll say something like why have you got long hairs coming out of your whatever and they just stare at you so it's like why have you got long hairs coming out of your nose why are your ears so big and nearly touching the ground and you're left as a grown-up thinking I want to hurt you in a weird way because you're really rude but you don't CU they're Toddlers and they're supposed to be sweet toddlers on mask they scare me toddler there needs to be a toddler apocalypse zombie movie I'm telling you right now but anyway babies bore me they're boring you know everyone comes cing oh who look I mean don't get me wrong I like their little kind of prawny fingers you know prawn fingers and prawn toes go oh my God that's so but they always look like by and large they look like I don't know they a lot of them look like Tradesman with no hair they it's like that's Bill and he's going to fix your table or that's spurt and he's going to sort out your your end when they're babies it's easy well it is if they don't if they stop crying and if they go to sleep you know what I mean so why do we have babies I used to think babies were boring says anarie shalad I used until I realized they copy everything we do my four-week old niece copies my blinking cutest thing ever that does sound cute I'm yeah you know n Says Baby TV yeah kind of I get it it's nice I mean um Natasha you know you've got a the most beautiful Crystal got beautiful baby I I get scared I you know I'm I'm it's been so long since I held a baby My worry is is that I'll start to kind of use it like a toy gun or something so don't don't give me a baby to hold cuz i' I've lost the I've lost The Knack um but why why okay no one's given me a strong argument it's programmed into us as humans says Ross so when we shout people down saying you can't say it's selfish I think it is about here's the thing if you stand in a in a playground certainly at some of the schools that our kids have gone to and you look at the parents and their kids they're all there it's not really about the kid it's about the posturing with other parents and saying how that kid is an extension of them and proudly sort of only banging on I mean all kids are an extension of their parents because they're the biggest influence but to sort of proudly just stand there going yeah look at him just like me Bo just cut chop was is it chip off the old block I think it I think I think we have babies if we were to drill into it in a meaningfully philosophical fashion I don't think the answers are good that's all I'm saying I don't think they're half as good anyway let's talk about Brian Johnson does anyone know who Brian Johnson is would anyone here like to live forever does anyone here want to look younger I think we'd all like to look younger wouldn't we but um okay well look check this out this is Brian John Brian Johnson is the guy who spent something like two million a year is it trying to look look young um and he shared some images of his face online and then very bravely on Twitter uh X formerly Twitter said um I'm transitioning which image and then he asks them to say in which do I look the youngest I mean you don't cour controversy if you're trying to prove the plastic man says Lee Daren okay so what we're going to do now is I'm going to show you uh this is him that's him in 2018 [Music] um this is him in 2023 looks a bit scared looks like he's holding on for dear life there and then just a year on from that this is him here so you know his his hair is the same is bit more I think he the irony of all of this is I think he kind of looks younger in 2018 he looks ill he looks like he needs a good breakfast he looks scared he looks like a character from Blake 7 a 1970s Sci-Fi show uh he definitely looks like and then of course someone found this image of him when he was much younger which I think I think he looks the youngest there I think he looks really well 2016 it's not working is it James I thought he looked best in 2016 he does a press up on the air he he's just crazy he's just crazy [Music] um oh many responses underneath his images say that he looked better in the earli vision of himself um someone said he's tried to stop aging and he's proceeded to age quickly I don't know I don't know you can't stop aging Just go with it I know it's weird isn't it does anyone remember that Death Becomes a where they kind of like were dead and then they kind of kept sort of like having you know um uh what was the other thing I was going to do well we've done everything that's brilliant because we've only got time for quiz of the week let's do quiz of the week okay guys so it was a quick one today so let's get to quiz of the week get your pens and pencils ready let's get cracking let's do it um we are going to be doing over the weekend we are going to be
