Clusters Of Incendiary And Tactical Grenades Go BOOM! | Deep Rock Galactic Survivor

welcome back for some more Deep Rock Galactic Survivor and we are going to try a grenade run and let's do it on you know what let's do it on Juggernaut Juggernaut Gunner Hazard 3 on the magma core we're slowly working our way through getting every they unlock so it's taking a bit of time there's a lot of meta progress to get through as far as unlocking overclocks but that's the the plan here we're starting with this pistol but we're not we're not going to be using this thing much the focus is grenades probably incendiary and the Tactical lead Buster and I'm hoping to get them both maxed out I haven't even looked at the overclocks on those two grenades yet so this is going to be all new for me um we're going to go with luck this is a rare treat we want to make sure that we get lots of gold because we're going to be doing rolls Theo let's get all right we'll be doing a lot of rerolling uh to try and get upgrades that we want I'm going to be wasting wasting money is basically what's level five hits we're I need gold before I hit level five uh-oh can I find some gold because I want to have enough gold that I can roll my weapons I don't think I'm going to have enough gold it's probably going to put me over the top I think we have just enough gold that we can roll oh we don't have to nice we're going to go incendiary grenades incendiary grenades for a dwarf like me and I I know that there's cry grenades as well but I haven't got the overclock on them unlocked yet the drop is too Rocky so please clear it out they were in the they had those in the uh in the demo for the game so I had a lot of fun with the trial grenades back during the demo days all right now that we've done that we can focus on getting our caps cuz they're good for money yeah so I'm not going to roll right now but we probably I need will be spending a little bit on rrolling throughout the Run cuz I want to make sure that I get as much into the grenades as possible our last cap that's good money completed excellent job okay now we're now we're in the clear the thing with the grenades is we're not going to get a lot of kills early game right maybe I should have went with the other class taking damage is actually good on this character you get a damage buff and put more armor on them kind of a weird character right let's let's have a quick look at that the Juggernaut class so you get plus 10 armor plus 50 Max Health your weapons have less range when you take damage you gain 10% damage for 10 seconds and it Stacks up to five times so you can get some really nice damage Buffs going even though this is here we're not doing it we're going in on this this is it we're committed to the grenade run beautiful more grenades use I'll take the experience game this is my so first boss has arrived you know what we can take damage off of the lava on this and that will give us oh yeah that's actually really nice strategy for the Juggernaut class right cuz you can get those damage Buffs by taking very minimal damage and I'm going to take the uh there's a nice Synergy here that we can run where you get XP for taking damage right so we can run that um going roll once oh we're going to do it occasionally and and it's going to make people cringe but I really really want to level up the two the two grenades that we can hopefully get I'm very aware that it's not ideal to be spending money on re I'm aware of that okay well we'll grab some health we're going to have to do some healing alert Threat Level increasing I think there actually is a um unlock I don't know what it is maybe an artifact if for taking 2,000 damage in a run this might be the run that we do that on much better I'm hoping that the grenades scale nicely when we get them all the way up damage what do we have adds an additional explosion that deals kinetic damage uh the grenade now splits into three we weaker versions we're going to go weaker versions I'm clocking it to 11 here we go things are going to start to eat up now we're going to start going crazy get thead out come on give me the lead Buster give me the lead Buster that was a lot of money but we got the weapons that we wanted we've got the grenades I don't want to wait until my fourth weapon to get both grenades because then it's going to be a a real difficult thing to get them both maxed out to level 18 let's let's finish that yeah you're out of here completed get to the drop pod before it heads back to orbit got to have it okay time to go this is going to be fun once things really get going with these grenades it's going to be nuts especially the lead Buster I'm interested to see what it's going to be like when when it's overclock stage one completed well done taking you to guys let me know in the comments if there's specific runs or challenges you want to see me do we're still working our way through everything on the game not doing that I have enough to roll once though next nice looks beautiful like me so we can put there's some nice Buffs we can put on here right like longer lasting things we can get faster reloads on throwables more damage on throwables damn I forgot my lunch box all the mor kite we're going to need is right here that's nice objective complete nice excellent job I love it when the game uh game hands it to you like that and I don't have to worry about it for the rest of the run now if I could get something else with flame on it that would be really nice just for just for fun ready we're not worried about taking a little bit of damage and that's more than we want to take yeah give me I refuse to die I'm not going to I'm not going to throw it by getting greedy here look at that so every time we're going to prioritize getting the levels up there's better upgrades maybe but we could have taken this is where we want to be there's a lot of things that we can pick up early game it's not feeling great but it's I I I believe in the grenades I think it's going to it's going to turn around in a hurry supp Z is C please clear it out okay fire rate fire rate's really you want reload really is what we want oh you can put piercing on this or do we do fire we're going to do piercing this piercing bullets on that sounds nice a supply incom well done uh yeah gain so gain XP when you take damage we're taking lots of damage here what I need on this class I kind of want to go back up to where we were cuz there was lots of gold there's also a magnet that we could pick up try and kill some more Elites before we pick it up and then the second boss will be here I think we're I think we're pacing pretty good I think we'll be able to do this fire rate reload speed yeah reload speed is really what you want rable damage I can't enough of this damage so if you look at the stats on here right it doesn't have um it doesn't have a fire rate so it's reload time is the main thing that you really want to get down bosses might take a bit of work to kill on grenade build I don't know so reloads fantastic another weapon um let's take this Auto Cannon I've never used it Thunderhead heavy Auto Cannon heavy auton might be fun to run that and if we can if I if I have an opportunity I would happily uh unlock the overclock for that if it comes up but that's not the priority for this video I always try to lay out at the beginning what the goal is going to be for a video them uh yeah we'll take lifetime sometimes it's going to be something simple like uh we're just trying to beat Hazard 5 other times it's going to be like this well that's not nice um going roll once find throwable damage a little extra taking a bit more damage than we want to take my regen really good though cuzz I've I think I'm regening 10 every so often yeah scan is overloading Miner get a move on oh fine damage I'm going to go with this having having uh 10 regen is really really nice probal damage I think we can get them cuz we're at seven and nine that's not bad for this stage of the game we're going to have a lot more leveling to do it is taking a long time to kill the boss like it's not like I'm not trying to kill him they got your s Threat Level inre he's going to pop now take XP gain it's call to me finally Min get to the drop we got to try and be a little bit greedy here with our experience XP gain I'll take it beautiful see these every day I wonder if we can get a overclock on that uh we knew we could trust you to on the Tactical grenade that fires off more grenades that' be sick more damage I'm to try so we're going to roll more options roll I want another go this is very tempting I I can do that and one more roll nope try again reload speed I can use this well that wasn't that was that was actually a pretty decent shot I would think that you know we we upgraded a couple times we're up to 10 and 10 have youres probably not going to get that overclock unlocked for the Thunderhead but that's fine and if you're still here at this stage of the video I rrolling here that was nice wonder if my computer's going to be able to handle all the explosions stay tuned to find out if my computer can hold up it didn't like it during the demo with the four exploding cryog grenades I really was not a fan of those oh boy that's that's working I mean we are only on Hazard 3 D mind we're not on like Hazard 5 or anything like that but right now we're doing okay more damage okay now what do we have explosion radius so there's a class I think the driller has one that gives more explosion radius or no maybe it's the engineer maybe the engineer would be a good one to do this on um an additional explosion an additional kinetic explosion or larger explosions maybe we should do an additional explosion no we'll go larger 30% bigger booms more damage couldn't quite get it he I have to get some heals playing way too loose go fire ratees oh yeah there we go so you can get clusters on this as well okay so we now we're throwing out four we're getting four grenade or eight grenades total now is what we're chucking XP gain oh my God that is awesome holy [ __ ] this is it I don't have much on status damage we'll do crit chance this did I pick this up I did not um we'll take that I need to get health badly and some more morite damage XP gain again I don't know why the grenades just firing non-stop in the background I apologize for that reload on all throwables yeah I'm prioritizing some health and some more kite right we can find some red sugar oh the boss is almost dead [Music] uhoh I didn't even realize the boss was uh getting cooked well that was that's insane okay guys that that is that is insane I knew that it would be strong but this is another level holy it oh there's all this gold here GA up your beard and get onto that drop pod it's about to leave trying to Juke that guy little juke move on him there we go D Min a this might be my most fun run I've I've had this is this is a lot of fun we're almost maxed out on some of these um thr damage fire raate is not something that we need three roll oh you suck reload speed on all throwables oh boy I think so this will do now I do need to get some health or we're going to fail the run and that's going to suck get to work there's aliens to be killed and gold to be mined if I if I just play kind of safe now we should be able to easily win but we aren't at 18 on either of our grenades we may not get there one thing it's really hard to see what's going on with this many grenades like as far as where the enemies are there's so much visual clutter I will say that there is an awful lot of visual clutter with this many uh nades popping off what are we collecting more kite again there I baited them all in um luck again oh there goes my computer swarm detected get ready okay now we' now we've got this to 18 what's it do so 150% more damage the fire rate is garbage but the fire okay so the fire rate does matter on these right fire rate matters for this one greatly increases damage at the cost of fire rate so yeah right cuz if we look at the Tactical lead Buster it probably has a fire rate attached to it here yeah I guess that'll just affect the speed at which the grenade fires right okay but it's going to hit so damn hard now if we can we'll try and focus the other uh the Fire Grenade hey JB lesser thank you so much for subscribing to the channel if you that is a lot of that's a lot of killing I have to blow this up it's a little annoying I'm fine dropping this on its head I'm fine um I'll take the HP in the regen roll nothing [ __ ] I'm going the wrong way I know big greed damage on throwables okay now we're hooking back so much experience on the ground can we can we do this I'll this one time's taking Min move it not going to make it it's so far away it's so far away I lost greed drop pulling out my cond unbelievable that godamn drop didn't wait for me I'm an idiot but you know what this is going up on YouTube you guys can laugh at me
