CLEMSON FOOTBALL BANQUET

good morning everybody i am currently headed downstairs to make some breakfast for darien and i today is a very exciting day i've not filmed on a saturday in a really long time because obviously our season is done so my saturdays have just been doing like random stuff with my friends nothing really worth like filming but today they had a football banquet for the 2020 season so i thought it'd be fun to like bring you guys along to a little like behind the scenes clemson event i am getting ready with marissa at her house and it's just fun to like be able to dress up and stuff and obviously because of corona there was like a lot of events that they do every year that they were not able to do this year so i'm glad that we get to do this i am going to like i said make dairy and ice and breakfast i obviously need my coffee for the day as always i need to edit today i need to do some laundry i need to email some people back just random stuff and then around i'm guessing like four o'clock i don't really know how to talk to myself head over to her house and we will get ready i also got a super exciting package yesterday that i have been waiting to open so i could open it with you guys so i need to do that after breakfast as well i don't even know what i'm wearing yet so i'm gonna need y'all's help why does it hurt so bad [Music] are you a memory lucid dream [Music] welcome to the darian and mckenzie show why is it so weird okay now that we're done with breakfast i told them that i have a special package to open oh yeah i'm going to do that upstairs but i think what i wanted to ask you today i don't know why i'm being so weird what do you think's going to be different it's not gonna be any tables it'll be like all seats usually they have like a it's like a nice really like upscale event with food and a bar drinks not like alcoholic drinks yeah not alcoholic drinks but just kind of specify yeah but just like fancy drinks just like fancy drinks on a bulk and then a bunch of food there won't be that tonight okay what do you want me to wear i feel like you have an idea on your head just something like sometimes you wear like colors that aren't like like colors that's not neutral that aren't clunks and colors i don't wear like a green dress today okay i understood i was thinking actually i have this dress that i have that's kind of short but i'll think about wearing it with like a leather jacket like that could look cute or something like that i don't know y'all are gonna have to see and find out when are you leaving music it's kind of early it starts at 4. wait the banquet is four yeah four o'clock yeah i literally thought that it was at like seven no it's at four o'clock so that's the whole thing so people can't go eat afterwards except for four o'clock darian when were you planning on telling me that you seem like you knew already how how would i have known i literally thought that i was meeting marissa to start getting ready at four okay well now i'm in a rush now i can't do anything to i was planning on editing getting laundry done we gotta hurry i gotta show them my special package okay it's time to show you what i've been one of their bags are made in italy with luxury leather they have partnered with people that have worked with other luxury handbags to make sure that these are up to par but they are a lot less expensive luxury handbag than their other brands with the same exact quality the same exact quality leather and i think it's just cool to have like a handbag that was made in italy like that just sounds so cool and it like has like a weight to it so you can tell like the leather is just super nice they also have over like 600 bags to choose from let me open it up so you open it up by like pressing these up then you pop it open and they give you the option to have a little satchel situation it's honestly pretty big on the inside which i wasn't expecting i don't know if you can like really see but it's like boxy on the inside which i really like but it also has a side pocket it has two side pockets which i really like as well and this color is just beautiful it is going to look silky and it comes to like almost the end of my legs i don't know this is a shorter option it obviously has the same pattern and i would probably wear like a leather jacket with this i'd probably wear a fur jacket with that and then we have this this was in my recent instagram post obviously didn't actually wear i just wore it for the photo shoot so this would be my first time wearing it's actually my first time wearing any of these dresses so what do you think what do you think i should go with i like wow do you like brown i like the brown you don't need to be too short what do we say about jackets around here you have to wear one you can't get out cold all right so i'll wear the brown with a it's kind of like i don't know if it's brown it's a cream or something with a black leather jacket and some boots i say brown or black okay okay y'all are gonna have to stay and see what i choose i'm bringing a few different options to anderson as far as jacket goes i definitely am gonna wear the brown dress but i'm gonna have the girls help me decide on the jacket this cute little nike dior set is from by hails i'm going to link her instagram in the description in case you guys want to get anything from her it's super super soft and super cute so yeah off to anderson i go i really like to do this thing where i think i have a bunch of time so i just linger and linger and then by the time that it's time for me to leave i'm like 20 minutes behind yay gummy also my skin is breaking out so bad it's unbelievable [Music] okay here's the final outfit this is a forever 21 dress and then this white fur coat with my princess polly heels and then my earrings are also from brewery 21 they're just like small studded hoops okay i am ready we are on the way marissa is wearing a green dress these beautiful little earrings trying to look like stories oh yeah so i got my ring resized and it didn't fit me so i tried it on last night and it still didn't fit me because my finger was swollen so i had to wait so when i tried it on my finger wasn't solid it still did not fit me and so i have to currently send it back again tomorrow to give it resize so i'm wearing a fake ring right now it's literally from someone's engagement party like a decoration yes like it says it does i honestly might just get that one it's like the ones that you like put in a cake or something like you throw on the floor as a decoration it's actually 25 cents but it looks really nice so um that's just like a temporary ring so if you all see it we didn't end our engagement it's just don't worry she didn't get a new ring i'm dead anyway we're on the way we're like 15 minutes away we're honestly kind of early which i'm impressed by because i came really late and really rushed my makeup but olivia did my hair while i did my makeup so that worked out but i'm honestly upset that we're not eating here because i usually have really good food and i'm hungry we have arrived over in like a sweaty gym right now these outfits is killing me i don't know what to expect right now [Music] kj is taking us to our seat say hello to the vlog hey guys [Music] 2015 a long time ago you know with that i guess it's kind of fitting but uh i'm great you know i'm really very thankful for that without having issues or anything like that so darian richard this guy is torn ac nails in high school a long car and becomes one of the greatest leaders we've had come through our program and wins the disney award for the most inspirational person in all of college football not player not coach person it's incredible to me an example of what it's all about being able to take what what you got and make the best of it [Music] the basic cultural tenets of davos sweeney's football program are communicated to tiger student athletes from the time they first set foot on campus those characteristics can be demonstrated through the words accountability discipline inclusion communication and appreciation key phrases include repeating the process pursuit of excellence no matter the elements and doing ellinger he becomes clemson's third bobby valentine trophy winner joining the sean watson from 2016 and hawks center that's quite an amazing accomplishment and a very important position playing over 800 meanwhile brandon darian and jc for their leadership and their blue collar attitudes really transcended them for 350 combined all-purpose yards i had to take a bathroom break because this is the longest thing ever i don't know what i was expecting but this is so long it's been very fun to follow darien through his career see his impact and know that it doesn't have to all be on the field who he is as a man he was able to last week accept the disney spirit award which was as coach sweeney said presented to the most inspirational figure in all of college football congratulations to darian and cole bennett win the day as you move through uh move forward with your journey so let's crank up [Music] [Music] okay i'm currently sitting in the facility waiting on the boys to get their awards and stuff it was like a handful of stuff because they're amazing but that was a really fun ceremony it was a lot longer than i thought but it was really fun it was super cool to see that darian get honored for a bunch of things we are going to halls tonight for dinner so we're gonna head that way now [Music] i am truly sorry for the lighting in there it was not good but i thought that turning the flash on was like not cute so i just had to let it be dark but um i am now home we had a beautiful dinner it was a beautiful day overall just celebrating life we have church very early in the morning so i'm going to head to bed thank you so much for the support and thanks for watching
