this is the quintessential stuffed bell peppers recipe I grew up on my friends bell peppers stuffed with spicy ground beef rice and melty cheese start by blanching our hollowed out bell peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes to lightly soften them up then set them into a baking dish standing up cook your chopped onion and extra chopped peppers in a hot pan then add the ground beef and cook it through stir in your seasonings I'm making mine nice and spicy add in fire roasted tomatoes so good and cooked rice stir it all up then stir in some delicious melty cheese seriously I could eat this right now spoon the mixture into the bell peppers top each one with extra cheese and bake them up don't they look amazing old school stuffed peppers made awesome come get the recipe
