[Music] welcome back to my channel so today I'm gonna share with you my stuffed bell pepper recipe you do not want to miss this so keep watching so here my ingredients go ahead and check out my peppers so colorful and so pretty I'm also using a jalapeno pepper garlic red onion frozen corn wild rice tomatoes and black beans here all of my ingredients all diced up and measured out so this recipe is so simple you guys I'm sauteing all of my peppers as well as the garlic and the onions you want to cook that down until it's translucent and then add in your spices if you liked this video click that like button subscribe and press that notification bell for more videos like this I'm using Cayenne red pepper chili powder cumin coriander paprika and some salt next you're going to add in your tomato sauce as well as your diced tomatoes you're gonna mix that up and you're gonna let that cook for about two minutes before you add in your beans and your corn so after you add in your beans and corn just stir that up you want to let that simmer for maybe about five minutes cover it with the top and now we're gonna go in and we're gonna work on our bell peppers so I'm heating up some water I've added a little salt so hearing my bell peppers that I'm going to be using they've all been rinsed and clean so do as you see here just cut the tops and remove the membrane from the bell pepper and when you're done this is what the inside of your bell pepper should look like so now once your water has began to boil that's when you want to add in your bell peppers you're gonna blanch them for about three minutes or so I only put about three bell peppers in the pot at a time and then I removed it and then I repeated the steps until all of the bell peppers we're done so now I'm gonna go in I'm adding in my tomato sauce into my casserole dish spread that around a little bit and this is just gonna make sure that the bell peppers are not sticking to the dish because we're gonna bake the bell peppers and of course you know your girl got a little OCD here so I have to let's fix that up a little bit so now I'm adding in the wild rice and when you add in your wild rice or whatever rice you use if you use white rice that's fine but basically when you add it in you want to press it down because I am making my stuffed bell peppers in two layers so the bottom layer is rice the top layer will be the sauce and when it's done this is what your bell peppers should look like and so now I'm going to fill up the other half of the bell pepper with the sauce so for my cheese I'm going to use Monterey Jack and my cheddar so this is the final step you want to sprinkle some cheese on top put as much cheese as you like and then we're going to pop this in the oven I bake this on 375 for approximately 45 minutes [Music] Wow [Music]
