[Music] hi everybody i'm pj with princess craft rv here in round rock texas today so excited i'm going to show you the 2021 cirrus 620 truck camper by nou camp now like everything else new camp makes it's stylish it feels very open on the inside it is packed with features including a cassette toilet now everything on this camper that i'm going to show you is standard there are only three options and i'll point those out as we go along this has a base of six foot two inches what that means is that this fits on a full sized truck better yet it fits on any half ton so if you've got a half ton truck with an eight foot bed five and a half or six and a half no problem for this 620. this truck camper is going to cost somewhere between 30 and 35 000 depending on the dealer and depending on the options there are so many great features on this truck camper let's get started inside [Music] you know walking in this truck camper it's incredible how open it feels i think it is all the lighting so much indirect lighting and all the neutral colors it's very bright feels very spacious for a small truck camper really incredible let's start right here by the door they have the signature new camp door with the pockets on it it's a molded abs uv resistant and a little window here so you can see what's out there but of course it's got a blackout shade right here and something else i want to show you so i'm going to open this just a little bit is to show you that there is a screen so if you have that door open you've always got a screen to cover it now the same with the windows i will show you that in just a second down below little bin right there you could use it for a lot of things some people use it for like extra plastic bags trash whatever kitchen right here on the right really nice sink here it's only about four inches deep but it certainly works well a nice faucet single handle dometic two burner stove lifts up has the sparkers right here and to the right three open spaces for storage you'll see this a lot in this truck camper because new camp did a great job of using every inch they could for storage there is about a one inch lip on the front of it now right above is going to be the monitor panel it will show you how much battery charge you have uh it will also show you your gray tank your fresh tank all of that right here uh water pump is also here on the left um there is a second water pump switch out in the nautilus system i'll show you in a few minutes uh porch light and then of course the sink light and the accent lights this sync light is directly above right here everything else is indirect lighting for the most part except for the nut the reading lights up front so two lights right here easy to use very accessible what you're looking at right here is going to be the remote control for the jacks on the outside and a panel right down there at the bottom so if you're standing outside the truck camper is on your truck you just reach inside the door to activate the jack system just above your jack switch is going to be two switches that control the power awning if you have that option now the white switches above that control the awning light and the smart cam system smart camp is a app that actually can turn on and off the lights in this camper and work the power fan in the ceiling so very easy to use you can find instructions on nucamp's website all you do download the app turn the switch on connect by bluetooth don't need wi-fi and you can actually control those through the app now let's look at the gear that's underneath the stove in the sink because new campus made everything very accessible so this compartment door opens up and stays open so you're not trying to maneuver underneath it and you can find your water pump and you'll also have access to all of those lines and the alda system now the aldo system is going to be heating and hot water the controls will be up by the bed we'll take a look at that in just a minute let's look at the storage up here now these solid wood doors are just gorgeous the button here is a little different if you're not used to it you push it in and it's flush and that locks the cabinet push again the button pops out and it becomes your handle and you open it up and it goes all the way to the ceiling keeps that cabinet door out of the way inside now this one has the packet that has all the paperwork that goes with the camper and some of the gear that goes with it but it's such a nice open space about 12 inches tall about 12 inches deep and on the right up here you'll see a 120 plug that's because if you choose the microwave option it fits right in this cabinet right here if not you've got more storage space okay now these cabinets go all the way down let's take a look they are open in between but there is some bracing so you've just got some space in between it isn't a fully opened cabinet the recessed lighting comes out from above it and then you've got a light strip underneath here as well now there's not a lot of counter space so with this glass top that can double as counter space if you're not using the stove these windows are dual pane acrylic windows so they're going to really help insulate the camper but let me show you a few more features if you just undo the latches there are four of them here you can push this window out and tighten it down wherever you want it to be and it'll stay at that level of opening you will have a pull down screen you'll also have a pull up shade if you'd like you can clip those together and maybe do it halfway so you get some privacy and some air unclip them everything goes away you've got a nice open window really nice feature makes it feel so open not to have a screen covering half the window when you're ready to close the window very easy to just latch it back there is actually a slot right here where you could lock the window and still leave a little bit of air coming in that's a nice feature especially at night if you're running a furnace you want to reduce the condensation or you just want to let a little fresh air in but you don't want your window wide open the seating in this has two seats right across from each other here a little bit of venting right up here for your heat system but this is a nice vinyl cushion but it's real soft so don't let that scare you but it's going to be easy to clean nice neutral color you don't have storage access right underneath this seating i know we'll get that question um but it does go down into a second sleeping area so when you fold this down to a second sleeping area it's 30 inches wide and 78 inches long that's six and a half feet so really plenty of space for an adult to sleep in this second sleeping area let's look at some of the storage that's under around and some compartments that are hidden behind these cushions on the end of the kitchen cabinet is all the plugs that you would need there's two 120s a standard 12-volt plug-in like a cigarette lighter and then two usbs so very easy to access those if you're sitting at the table but i would like to show you three access panels that are actually hidden behind the cushions but great if you need to get to the workings of the camper one of them is right back here i'm going to remove all three of these cushions right here so you can get a good look at it all right got that out of the way and you see this panel here there's two of them behind this seating and they just pop off like that now it's spring loaded on the back so when you want to put the panel back on you just bring this tab in like that and when you're ready to put it back in place it pops right back in genius right behind here is some electronic controls underneath the other one access to some of the fins on the aldi system in the back of the 120 plug on the side of the camper and a few more over here accessing the jack controls so great great way to have everything reachable when you maybe need to do some work on it or check it before i show you more details i want to talk about the table this is the lagoon table and it is designed so it can move in any direction swivel go higher or lower very versatile particularly for a space this size you can see it's got handles under here where you loosen them or tighten them according to however you want it to go you can actually get it in a fixed position if you like or you can loosen it so it just swivels easily lots of versatility here maybe you need to work a little closer to you or maybe get it completely out of your way so you have easy access into the bed all right we are going to take this table out for the rest of the shot to get a little better view of some of the things that i want to show you without the table in here this feels really open big hubby right here as you step into the bed and on this side is the 12 volt charging station with the cigarette lighter plug and the two usbs on the other side the 120 plug nice step right here to help you get in and out of the bed if you need it and below that another open space is really very large under here about 12 inches deep a little over 12 inches tall and the full space of this width right there here is the bracket where that lagoon table slides right in across underneath the seating is the converter and not only does this convert the 120 volt coming in on your shore power to 12 volt but it has the breakers and fuses right here in the front very accessible the lp carbon monoxide detector is right next to that now underneath here you've got a little more space for storage another open space right here not terrifically large but about a six by eight square inch space every inch counts underneath this seating is where the batteries are located it's built for two group 24 deep cycle marine batteries you probably could adjust it to get some bigger group maybe 31 batteries in there it's not designed or wired for lithium-ion but adjustments can be made at your dealer if that's something you're interested in now i wanted to point out that right behind this cushion is another easy access panel that has the battery disconnect switch so when your camper goes into storage just disconnect it right there so above this seating is more overhead storage just like on the other side these open up all the way there is a divider but not difficult to access between them if you needed to now on the end of this cabinet that controls the solar standard on this camper is 210 watts of solar on the roof keep those batteries charged let's get these closed and to the left of the entrance door is the isotherm 12 volt refrigerator this refrigerator uses less than three watts so it's just really uh skimpy with the power i love the fact that it's a compression driven refrigerator it cools in a matter of hours you don't have to wait overnight and it's going to be really efficient look how deep that is you've got 12 inches deep of space a lot of food is going to fit in this refrigerator and you've got this freezer compartment it even comes with this really small ice tray temperature control great little refrigerator underneath you've got a cubby right here it's going to be probably 15 maybe even 18 inches deep quite a bit of space the full width of this cabinet what looks like a seat down below here and certainly could be a seat is actually the cassette toilet now you can just lift this up we've tested this it stays open you could also remove the cushion so this leans back and doesn't move but if you're level you don't even have to remove the cushion now the sides of this are all one piece there's just a magnet holding it closed so once you open that you can twist the seat out for easy access there's a button right here on the back for water flow into the toilet you can see a little green button down there and that's actually going to start turning red as the cassette fills so it'll tell you when it's getting full and it is a hand flush right down here underneath it very easy to do swivel this right back in place and back to seating great feature right let's look up there is a vent right here and it has the light built into it you push the handle and the whole thing goes up to open the vent a little button right here is going to turn on the fan or turn on the light right there close the vent pull that handle down your vents closed nice little access vent right here in the corner of the trailer right here in the center is a fantastic vent great feature and it's going to come standard with every cirrus 620. however if you wanted the optional 9200 air conditioner that's going to take the place of this fantastic vent in the center of the camper so either way you're going to get some great airflow the cr620 has a north-south bed so no one has to crawl over getting out of bed at night um and this is a queen-size bed however it's 60 by 76 so it's an rv queen still very comfortable for most people it's the same width as a queen bed just a few inches shorter underneath this is what they call the froley system now it is actually taking the place of a box spring because it not only gives you the comfortable springy effect under the mattress but it actually serves a very practical purpose it allows for air to flow underneath and it reduces condensation that you might get in the camper underneath the mattress it also is going to help insulate the mattress from any cold or heat that's coming from the bottom of the cab over great feature here you'll see it in all the cirrus truck campers let's crawl up there and look at the storage both sides of the bed are set up exactly the same there's two compartments running the length of the bed they're about five inches deep and probably six seven inches wide plenty of storage running along the side of the bed in these compartments the windows are going to be just like the acrylic ones we looked at with the shade and the screen so you can open these and get great airflow across the bed area the front is set up with usb pop-up charging station a cup holder and a night light the only difference that you'll see is in this corner on the passenger side there is the controls for the alda system a small little cut out cubby for storage and underneath that access to the glycol tank that you might need to service for your alda system now on the side of that there is the plug-ins for a tv if you wanted to add a tv there's coax cable right there and a 120 plug for a television now that's not included because most people that would be using this truck camper probably are going to be watching tv on their computers however included in a cirrus 620 is a bose bluetooth speaker so you can have great sound inside or outside the camper i am sure you've noticed the stargazer window right here on the cab over it doesn't open but it has a blackout shade to keep the sun out of your eyes in the morning but what a great feature to be able to lay in bed stare at the stars now that i've showed you around the inside of this it is such a comfortable space i hate to leave it well let's go take a look at the outside [Music] okay well let's start on the back of the truck hamper this vent right here is going to be on the side of the propane compartment so we'll show you that in just a bit the access is on the side there but let me talk about the cassette toilet here one more time i'm going to show you how easy this is to dump the tank so many people are worried about dumping the cassette toilet i think they just don't want to be that up close and personal but it is so easy it doesn't smell you put chemicals in it everything is disintegrated so you lift this right here it slides out and you've got handles uh of course there's a cap on this uh once you're using it and the handle flips right up wheels on the bottom and you just roll it to wherever you're going to dump it very easy when you're done dumping it and dumping it is super easy by the way you just swivel this up and push the button to put some air in it dump it and swivel it right back after you put the cap on it you can run some water in it to clean it out it's just really easy to do then it slides right back in this compartment you'll hear it click into place and it opens up the flaps so it's ready to use it's that simple holds five gallons you know that will last you a weekend and most people only use the cassette toilet you know for emergencies or middle of the night it is a great feature especially for boondocking okay underneath right here you have got your connection for your gray water tank you've got a fresh water tank drain so you connect your sewer hoses right here pull the handle right there to drain it now your hot and cold water drains are on the right side of this compartment as well now in a truck camper you always have to plug into the truck i love the fact that this is on the back you can plug directly into the 7-way on the back of the truck and you don't need to add one on the side very easy to do just retracts back into that compartment and you can even keep it all the way inside that compartment easy the compartment on the other side doesn't have anything in it this is simply storage and when you open it up the lights gonna come on for you this interesting little thing right here catches on the door when it opens so you can actually latch it open with that without having to hook in a little t-latch that's a nice feature and this is the nautilus water system so in here you're going to have connection to the city water fill you're also going to be able to fill your water tank you're going to be able to winterize all kinds of great features here and you know there's a manual that explains everything but if you want to know exactly which knobs to turn which way they have a great diagram right at the top for you you've got a water pump switch in here as well and a hot and cold shower it does come with the hose for your outside spray port with a quick connect right here that just connects right in and you've got your hot water cold water right here on the back it does come with a spray shower head should have unpacked that for you sorry about that and this closes up now these are marine grade doors they have a seal around them so it seals completely i really like that and this latch closes over it's not hard to do very secure great feature in these cirrus truck campers another great feature on the cr620 is the backup camera now that's standard on every cirrus 620 they make cirrus uses ricoh titan jacks as a standard feature and with your remote you can actually control these independently or you can do all four at one time making it really easy to raise and lower this truck camper you do have a manual override right on top of course where you can just pop the cap off put the crank in and turn them by hand if you lose all your battery power all right let's keep going now on the side you have the vent and that's the alda system which is your water and heat that's under the sink but let's talk for a minute about the tie now most truck campers you have to buy a separate tie-down system to attach to your truck so that the camper and the truck can be connected and of course be secure what they've done here on cirrus is mounted a ratchet system so you don't need to mount that external tie-down system most trucks are going to have tie-downs built into them in the bed and you can use those now it's just like a ratchet strap if you lift the bar and lower this this releases the strap now when you're loading your truck camper you lift it up in the air back your truck under it and that's the time that you would actually hook this strap to the tie-downs that are in the bed of your truck there'll be hooks in there little u-shaped bars welded into your bed every truck does it a bit differently but very simple to just hook this on to what's already there and then as you lower the truck camper into the bed this is going to actually draw up to where it's tight now once you get it loaded into your bed you can actually ratchet this to get it a little tighter now you don't want to over tighten these but once they get snug you're good to go what an easy way to load a truck camper the first question we're going to get is about weight but each one of these straps can actually hold the entire weight of this truck camper so you're very secure they use behind this wall a mounted bracing that's going to keep it nice and tight on the truck camper and make for really secure travel there you go now just in front of the ratchet strap is where you would put your water hose if you were connecting to the hydrant and you wanted to go into that nautilus system and connect the city water let's look right up front here on the base you see there's a sticker that says center of gravity that is one of the things that makes this truck camper so special that center of gravity is so far to the front if you're familiar with truck campers you know that that center of gravity point needs to be right over the axle or just in front of the axle with having that so close to the front of the base of the truck camper very easy to do even on a short five and a half foot truck bed this is an aluminum frame structure with insulation fiberglass exterior but underneath is azdel if you're not familiar with azdel it is a composite material that's impervious to water so you don't get the mold the mildew the swelling that you would if there was a wood panel underneath you also have a one-piece aluminum roof so there's no seams great to keep it secure from any water intrusion also it's not a walk-on roof but very small area you can always reach it from the side gives you a lightweight camper that works great on your half ton there are two 120 outlets right here on the side and the third option that you can get on this truck camper is going to be a seven foot power awning on this side what a great feature push a button you get an awning coming out shade great feature coming around to the front i like the fact that they put two big bumpers on the front now that seems like no big deal some truck campers do different things in the front good solid bumpers for snugging it up to your truck the driver's side is going to have the 30 amp plug-in right here it is detachable and just above that if you had a portable solar panel that you would like to add in here you could do that right there now remember this one has a 210 watt solar panel on the roof that's standard right underneath as a gas port if you wanted to connect a grill an outside say gas fire pit anything like that very accessible right underneath this panel just in back here another one of these wonderful marine panels that's sealed and really easy to open inside you have a 20 pound propane tank and plenty of extra space so you could add your water hose a little extra gear in here and everything is very accessible a lot of great things on this truck camper um we've covered so much here i know you'll have some questions so please let us know what your questions are we'll get them answered for you i'm pj with princess craft rv here in round rock texas so glad you've joined me remember subscribe if you want to see a new video every week and we'll see
