CIA Reactivates Their Deadliest Assassin, After Betraying Their Best Agent

the movie opens with a Rogue assassin named radic secretly meeting a German journalist Greta over some secret CIA files he has discovered radic shows Greta the files and photos and she seems excited to be able to break the news regarding a CIA coverup he tells her that she can snap photos with her phone and while she does this radic pulls his gun Greta wonders why he would betray her but Ric shoots her Dead news about the CIA killing journalists to cover up a conspiracy begins to circulate caus Citywide protests in Greece as this is the third such murder to occur in a month even the Greek foreign minister cus weighs in on the matter stating that it is time to put an end to the CIA having free reign in Europe over in Langley CIA agent Kate is investigating the case of the murders she meets with an associate and goes over CCTV footage of the street surrounding the hotel where Greta was found but he is unable to see anything out of the ordinary so Kate takes the drive to go over the footage herself later that night Kate is working alone in the office still going over video footage when she spots someone who turns out to be radic she rushes over to her boss om Ali and he's also shocked to see radic who was confirmed dead over 18 months ago om Ali makes sure that Kate hasn't shown anyone else before revealing that radic was a covert CIA operative who was embedded within both the Greek and Russian mafias radex Handler at that time was a legendary CIA operative named Vil now retired and working as a simple brick layer Vil heads over to the construction site he works on and heads to the roof to begin repairs on an old wall after a long day he goes to grab lunch when he encounters both om Ali and Kate and is not very happy seeing them Kate tells him about the blackmail on the CIA and the bodies turning up accusing Ric of being the killer Vil doubts this as he knew radic to be dangerous but not so much as to kill innocent people plus he watched Ric die with with his own eyes Ali tells Vil about a hit radic did on a Russian Smuggler which was greenlit by the CIA and his photo was found at Greta's scene proving that it is radic omali is worried about the entire ordeal and wants both Vil and Kate to head to Greece to stop him both Kate and Vil disagree with having Kate on the mission as Vil can smell the breast milk on her breath Ali insists as only they know about radek he notes that this Mission will be off the books and they will be working around around both the Greeks and interpole Ali warns Vil to take the mission unless he wants radic after him next but Vil refuses and tells him to fix his own mess he returns to the roof to finish up his work and he remembers how close he was with Ric's entire family suddenly Vil is shot and runs for cover as more shots ring out he bandages his wound before repelling down to another rooftop two gunmen reveal themselves and come looking for him but Vil manages to Ambush and take make out one he tackles the other gunman and disarms him and the two begin to brawl the man grabs a steel bar but Vil avoids his strikes and throws him the man manages to stab Vil once more but Vil beats the man down before choking him out with his tape measure another gunman comes looking but Veil Mr koolaids his ass and uses a TRL to stab him multiple times the two struggle and almost fall off the roof with the man hanging onto him the man hints that radex sent him and Vil causes him to fall on to a lift Vil also fails to climb back up and Falls onto the lift and they begin to fight again they throw heavy punches causing the lift to begin falling but Vil manages to tie the man down and escape the lift just before it plummets to the ground Vil then agrees to take the mission and he and Kate meet up to take their flight he tells Kate to stay out of his way while he goes after rad deck alone but she scoffs at him for her first field Mission she wants to go over all the detail details but Vil puts in his earphones and goes to sleep later while she goes over the mission Kate sees pictures of Ric's pregnant wife and daughter who were both brutally slain soon after they land in Greece and pick up a car from a CIA black site veil has Kate divert from the assigned route and they arrive at a warehouse where he meets with an old friend Patricio who served with Vil Kate is not happy with having the plan switched up on her but Vil reminds her that they called him Vil has Patricio create brand new identities for them where Kate is supposed to be Vil's wife and gives them weapons they get change of clothes and are presented with a Mercedes-Benz CLS AMG my dream car which Patricio has outfitted with stuff James Bond would be proud of but will never be used in the movie The Two set off and arrive in Greece by the following day and get set up in a high-end hotel room Vil suggests that Kate take a shower but when she returns Vil is missing from the room Vil heads over to a church where he lights candles then plants a listening device inside the church before leaving we won't hear about that again either Vil then infiltrates a highclass gathering where he meets with former CIA colleague Tai who warns him that the agency is still looking for him until she learns that om Ali sent him Vil breaks the news about Ric's reappearance to her the information he possesses and plans to take him down he asks about an old associate of both he and radx and learns that the man is now running a club Vil heads directly there where he meets with the OWN Steph and straight away asks him for Ric's location Steph tells Vil that radic is dead but Vil knows better and even suspects that Ric is the one really running the club Steph insists that radic is dead and warns Vil that he won't be bullied anymore showing Vil his men standing by Steph tells him to sit and drink but Vil attacks the guard with the glass before methodically taking on each man and beating them down Vil Steven seagull his way through the men not taking any any hit then firing off shots to create chaos he takes off running with Steph's men firing after him when suddenly Kate pulls up and saves him she cusses him out for leaving her behind Vil reveals that he found Kate's bug and in the chaos he planted it on Steph to lead him to RC Kate refuses to go any further until Vil explains what really happened with radc Vil relents and explains that after Ric's last hit his family was killed which sent him over the edge and he blamed the CIA after this he started going on a Revenge spree and Vil was ordered to take him out and thought he did until he resurfaced the CIA receives a video from radic demanding $100 million or he will release the information he has on the CIA Vil and Kate track Steph down to his home they break in after he leaves hoping to find any evidence leading them to radic Kate goes through his laptop and documents meanwhile Vil locates sloppy brick work on a column and uses his tools to reveal a hidden compartment there they find Greta's cell phone and hints to Ric's next Target suddenly they hear the doors open and hide just before a guard comes in the man hears a sneeze and draws his gun but Vil attacks him from behind pause the man is a good fighter as he gets the better of veil immediately and throws him around until Kate holds him at gunpoint Kate however allows him to get too close and he disarms her the man now starts throwing them both around round brutally he then pulls a knife telling Vil to arm himself also the two slash at each other until they end up in another grapple but the man is too strong and throws Vil he pulls his belt and starts to strangle Vil who manages to grab his Trel and stab the man in the neck killing him the two nursse their wounds after with Kate shaken up remembering how she froze when she had the chance to kill the man Vil tells her to cherish these moments as soon she will feel nothing at all Vil then then gets a text from Patricio about the next Target's current location the two arrive at the small town outside a cafe surveying the target who is drinking coffee also there is Patricio who is sitting nearby Kate thinks they should warn the man but Vil wants to use him as bait at that moment Vil gets a call from radic himself it is then revealed that Vil could not bring himself to kill radic but had let him go with him agreeing to disappear forever radek tells him that someone blew his cover to the Russians which resulted in his family's death and he suspects the CIA Vil who is scanning the crowd of people spots A well-dressed man and begins to follow him Vil tries talking him out of his Vendetta but radic warns him to stay out of his way for the sake of Kate Vil catches up with the man but it is not radic suddenly radic appears and shoots the journalist dead before jumping on a bike Vil manages to shoot his tires causing him to crash but he escapes between the buildings Patricio retrieves a tablet from the bike and they plan to access it radc had left behind a photo of Luis Delgado the Cuban ambassador to the UN and Kate thinks they should call it in Vil stops her now suspecting that om Ali is trying to cover his ass by just sending Kate and himself and that he may be radx mole he warns her not to trust anyone at the CIA but Kate refuses to think she cannot trust the CIA and answers a call from om Ali despite this Vil goes to visit Tai and tension is strong between them as they have history she tells him that costus has suspended all CIA operations in Greece and will hold a press conference to reveal the findings of his investigation Vil told her that he saw radic and that he suspects that the CIA betrayed him Tai tries to cover for the agency saying that radic was the one who did not hold up his end of the bargain Vil knows what betrayal feels like as Vil reminds her that he waited for her to leave with him a few years ago but Tai stood him up and chose her work instead she apologizes and the two share a moment Vil remembers when radic refused to complete a hit on a politician ordered by the CIA Vil had warned him against defying the agency but had promised to help him and his family get asylum in the US he wakes up later on Tai's couch and she tells him they were able to track the IP address of the ransom video Tai is unable to send a team to the location but Vil already plans to go and stop his one-time friend from ending his life he returns to the hotel room where Kate has been brainstorming the entire situation she reveals to Vil that she knows he took a call from radic then surprisingly holds a gun to him accusing him of working with radic Vil disarms her swiftly but with a smile he hands her back the gun he tells her he talks with radic but not about what she thinks later the two are staking out the location where the video came from and decide to go in the warehouse seems abandoned but the two enter cautiously with guns drawn inside an office Vil is shocked to see Patricio dead and hanging from the ceiling having been tortured Vil stares at his friend in Anger when suddenly a large group of armed men enter Vil kills the first man kicking off an intense gunfight Kate grabs a bag of explosives and escapes under the floor meanwhile Veil causes a massive explosion killing a few men before skillfully shooting the others he ends up in close combat but he is too fast and manages to kill all the men swiftly he brawls his way through the men and goes looking for Kate when red dots appear on his chest leading the men is Steph and he tells Veil to surrender or die Vil refuses but when Steph reveals that he has captured Kate Vil lowers his gun and walks towards them why they don't just kill them both now and call it a day as puzzling me but they allow the exchange to happen Kate tearfully refuses to leave Vil behind but he insists for her sake Vil appears to surrender when he suddenly throws the bomb bag at Steph causing a massive explosion killing all the men inside Kate is inside her car crying when she sees Vil walk out of the fire like that one scene in Man of Steel the two hit the road again where Vil reveals that the politician RC refused to kill was costus and for that the CIA killed his family Veil is pissed about Patricio understanding now that radic is beyond saving and he plans to kill him for real this time Kate gets a message from the agency that they will pay the 100 million and Vil sees it as a chance to get to radic om Ali arrives in Greece and soon he Tai Vil and Kate are in the same room Ali then reveals that radic asked personally for Kate to drop off the cash and that he wants Vil off the mission Vil leaves the room and they prepare Kate giving her a flash drive with 100 million Bitcoin they plan to grab radic once the drop is made good luck with that Kate then arrives at a spot where she locates a phone hidden under a phone booth she then follows the directions to a Tavern and enters a back room when someone grabs her but it is Vil revealing that he has been tracking her he takes the drive and sends Kate out before going down with his gun drawn the basement is empty but Vil sees a laptop on a desk he attaches the flash drive and radic appears on a video call noting that he cannot trust the CIA Vil tells him he shouldn't have killed Patricio and no matter where radic hides he will find him radic replies that he is not running as he has his last hit on Costas Vil warns him that the hit could cause a war but this is what radic wants as he cannot suffer alone anymore suddenly the door to the basement slams shut and Veil is trapped under the desk he finds a bomb but with quick thinking he pushes the table against a wall and takes cover just before a massive explosion blows a hole through the wall Vil is shaken up but survives he steps out but manages to dive into a trash can before radic can run him over with a van he takes off but Kate pulls up with the AMG and Vil takes the wheel they quickly catch up with radic and soon there is a high-speed chase through the narrow streets Kate tries shooting out the tires but fails to do so they almost lose R but Vil takes a back road and drives through a wall before driving into Ric's van flipping it Vil rushes to the van but Ric is gone and he screams out his name further on in the town there is a political gathering with costus giving a speech Veil scans the buildings for radic until he spots him among the cameramen on a tower Vil grabs a sledgehammer as radc is aiming his shot and manages to topple the tower causing radic to miss and fall over before he can grab his gun Vil smashes his hand to Pieces Vil holds him at gunpoint telling him it's over he apologizes for not protecting Ric's family and shoots him as he reaches into his jacket it is revealed he was reaching for a photo of Vil and his family suddenly cops shoot Vil in the chest dropping him he wakes up in heaven just kidding he wakes in the hospital with Kate sitting beside him she reveals that they found Ric's laptop but the money was missing om Ali is also there and reveals that they don't care about the 100 million as the cia's secrets have been kept hidden and costus now thanks the CIA for saving his life om Ali thinks they are now square and leaves Kate thinks that om Ali has the money but Vil tells her he will get what's coming to him a few nights later Tai is getting ready to leave town when Vil pops up in her apartment frightening her she nervously fixes him a drink then tells Vil to come with her but Vil knows that something is off suddenly he hears Vans pulling up outside and Tai holds him at gunpoint she reveals that Ric approached her and she had no choice but to become his mole and work with him Tai grabs her luggage and leaves walking past a team of men on their way to kill Vil inside Vil grabs a white packet and puts it in the oven and escapes through a window the men enter and one man hears the oven and opens it causing a massive explosion Vil who was climbing out is thrown to the street directly in front of Tai who is just driving away Tai begins speeding at him but Kate opens fire hitting her and causing her to crash Vil grimly stares at her dead body before Kate comes and gets him and the two walk away at the CIA headquarters om Ali is shocked to hear that Kate thought he was dirty he tells her to pack her things and she thinks she is getting fired but he promotes her to manage her own cases Kate refuses and packs her things and leaves we then see Vil back at work quite content
