those that are that have here in the present and the physical great to have you and i know there are people here that came early uh thank you for coming early thank you for being here to pray really appreciate that that is absolutely fantastic and i know that there are many families that have gathered together in homes today as well so today we want a big shout out to you wherever you are in hastings in auckland central bay wellington wherever you are in the world today we want to thank you especially global church families connect groups that are meeting in their homes today so that we could have just a hundred here we bless you this morning we've been leaving for an impartation yes this morning amen hey why don't you turn to somebody give them a hug if you really want to or you can so don't you go hiding i want to see everyone there okay four different weight divisions so that's going to be in november but we've got quite uplift and it's gonna be a men's event we're gonna have a brunch on so we're gonna have a food and you can either enter into the competition or you can stand there and cheer people on and we'll have uh spot prizes but it's gonna be an absolutely outstanding for at the moment is this i'm believing for blessing and enlargement i'm praying and expecting for increase in capacity i'm praying today that god that that the blessing of god will come upon uh not just status quo but i'm believing for an increase in our lives today i'm believing for new businesses to be emerged i'm believing for uh people's finances to to to to grow i'm believing for people to prosper in every way and we're going to be people that know how to swim against the ocean so where the economic environment may be crushing down like this we're going to be people of faith that's saying i'm going to believe god that he can stir the waters that he can he can provide even in famine he can provide even contrary circumstances so let's believe today that as we sow is thank the lord jesus what a privilege it is together together in your presence we thank you for the ministry of the angels in this house we welcome them today we don't worship them but we know that they're here today we want to give you our very best we never want to take for granted the gathering together of the saints you are so holy you are so marvelous you are so majestic there's no one like you jesus this house we thank you that your presence is here jesus we honor you today [Music] this morning my prayer is [Music] that we would be one whether we're at home participating from our lounge whether we're in the auditorium or the overflow that today we would be one we would partner with him amen [Music] why don't you wherever you are why don't you take a seat we're going to stay in this dave's in the house i heard him you know just because we're we're limited to 100 doesn't mean we have to be quiet i'm so grateful i come in this morning and i'm so grateful that i get to worship him with you that if you're online i i get to worship him with you too even though there's a distance between us even in the overflow room we're connected in the spirit amen i bless you this morning it's a privilege to bring the word to you this morning and um i never ever want to take an opportunity lightly it's always a privilege it's always a privilege to serve him always it's never a chore it's never something that i take for granted i pray this morning that our relationship with him and that our coming together would never be something that we take for granted this message this morning is called fight for the one amen fight for the one we're gonna turn to second corinthians four eight to ten and uh we're gonna read from the amplified version if you haven't got your bible with you it'll come up on the screen and we're going to read together this morning maybe coming if it's not i'm going to read it for you but when it comes up i want you to join in with me it says this though we experience every kind of pressure we're not crushed why don't you join with me now we're going to start again here we go though we experience every kind of pressure we're not crushed at times we don't know what to do but quitting is not an option we are persecuted by others but god has not forsaken us we may be knocked down but we're not knocked out we continually share in the death of jesus in our own bodies so that the resurrection life of jesus christ would be revealed through our humanity amen i think i gave our media team the wrong version i apologize for that i think it might have been the passion translation but we're living in a season right like no other this is not something in 2019 we could never have predicted the things and the pressures that we are facing right now and last year i made the silly uh thought in my head that we won't have another lockdown like we had was i wrong and there's conflict right and there's pressures that we didn't know before this pandemic this pandemic and i wonder today what pressure you are facing some will be facing internal pressures some will be facing external pressures but this scripture it says this at times we don't know what to do but quitting is not an option for us amen and god is redefining how we do things he's redefining how we do church and i do i want to thank those those connect groups that uh have decided to meet in homes have that we've asked to that said yes we'll meet in home so others can come into the service i bless you today i bless the group of you that are meeting together he's redefining how we do church and he's redefining how we connect but i want us to be careful that we don't get redefined by the world right now because there is a lot of messages out there and we've got to know what message we need to be listening to amen there's an overload of information this way that way up way down way sideways and it can be confusing right [Music] in a world where almost everything is tolerated i want to tell you today that following jesus christ following your father is not tolerated it's not celebrated and it's not even accepted and you and i have to get used to that amen we live in a world but we're not of the world we live in it but our value system is of another kingdom we're of a different spirit amen caleb in the new testament in the old testament he had a different spirit you and i are called in this season to live with a different spirit to the world he's calling us higher and i want to encourage you to not lower yourself to get involved in small conversations you don't need to convince people of your opinion or your or your convictions here's what we need to do as believers we're going to live them out we're going to live out our convictions we're going to live out the presence of god large let it flow out of you everywhere so the world knows who we are amen we aren't called to be like the world so if you feel like you don't fit in right now you know what take it as a compliment you were never meant to be part of them anyway how we stand right now is key i've got a few questions for you this morning when did you last stand out from the world when did you last walk away from an argument or a debate you don't have to win to be right we are called to reflect the image of god our father so i want to ask you what image today this morning last night yesterday did you reflect what do you shout out to the world about the jesus you follow because it really counts right now ephesians 5 says this the imitators of god it's in reflection what did my last conversation imitate did it imitate him the word imitate means to copy or to mimic what about my last thoughts when you were right here maybe when you're in worship did they mimic god what about my last reaction what about when somebody didn't agree with me did i mimic god do my words and my behavior attract the kingdom of god the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of hell here's one can i be discipled this is a brand new season church can i be discipled can i be led the kingdom of heaven has a culture and it's not familiar to you and i we have to be discipled in it it's not natural you know we look at the situation we were talking with the creative things about this a couple of weeks ago or last week what's happening in afghanistan at the moment you know it's a violent confrontational fierce situation we've never been in a situation if you're hearing you're a man or you're a you're a brother maybe you're here and you've got a sister maybe you're here and you've got a wife maybe here and you've got a mom or an auntie or a daughter and you've had to show her how to use a gun put it in her hands and say run into the jungle and defend yourself that's what's going on there for the christians [Music] just a couple of weeks ago everybody was instructed to get a red cloth and hang it outside their house if you had a daughter that was 12 years old or above and they were free reign to come in and take them as child brides you and i have no understanding of that right we've got no understanding of what it's like to live in that kind of confrontational situation and we can look at it and we can say oh well you know when the enemy comes like you know in the end times when he comes and when we have that you know i'm going to stand strong but i want to tell you that the enemy is at work at the moment and he's using a different tactic in the west it's not a violent confrontation like afghanistan right now you and i are facing an aggress an aggressive attack against our faith you may not even know it and it will require much courage connection and consistency we're going to need courage connection and consistency i believe the strategy of the enemy for the west right now is subtle but it's just as strong and it's just as fierce as what's happening in afghanistan here's what i believe the enemy is wanting to do he wants to wear you down he wants to erode your strength he wants to build frustration he wants to set your energy the other thing he wants to do is bring in fear and distraction right the whole goal of that is that our eyes are over here and we forget that they're meant to be on jesus yes there's a lot of issues out there that you and i have to weigh up and work out and pray and research but the goal is is that my eyes stay on him when my eyes are on him i will know what to do amen when i get distracted when i get distracted by opinions by fear it's exactly what the enemy wants that you're caught up over here it's not an aggressive attack like afghanistan it's a subtle attack but it's just as fierce the next one is division there's a pressure to choose a side i want to say to you today don't buy into it you don't need to choose a side in some of the issues and i think we all know the things that are before us right now choose not to play choose not to play the game division is a tactic of the enemy to divide you and i yes do your research yes pray yes make decisions about how you're going to walk forward with some of the things that are facing us but don't play the game of division amen i it's distressing to see i saw somebody post something on social media i was talking to dave about it and the barrage of christian against christian slinging mud at each other it's exactly what the enemy wants it's what he wants don't give it to him don't give it to him don't play the game the attack is subtle but fierce and it's on your relationship with jesus and the design is that you would lose your first love you would lose passion you would become dry that he would become a casual acquaintance for you [Music] and this is the challenge with lockdowns i'm not here to say whether we should or we shouldn't that's not my decision it's what we do when we're faced with the containment amen and i want to give you keys today about living in the season not just to maintain but to move forward and to prosper in your personal life because you and i are like caleb we are called to live different and it takes energy and it takes courage amen we need to understand clearly what is required of us as believers in the season last week pastor dave spoke about a new normal if you haven't heard the message i encourage you to go and listen to it it'll shift your thinking for the season ahead it's from joshua and he said we haven't been this way before we're crossing over from one way of living to a new way today i want to give you a key out of john 17. this is a crucial key for us and it says this i have given to them the glory and honor that you have given me that they may be one just as we are one i in them and you and me that they may be perfected and completed into one so that the world may know without any doubt that you sent me and that you have loved me just that you have loved them just as you have loved me i want to give you some context around the scripture because you know what it's really good to know what's happening what was happening right there at the time when jesus prayed this prayer this was his last prayer this was at night time and he's in the garden of gethsemane and the word gethsemane it means the oil press the garden was an olive grove it's somewhere dave and i have been there it's an incredible place you can feel his tangible presence there but there's all these olive trees there but it's an olive press and they it's a place where they gathered the olives and they harvested them olive oil doesn't become oil without a great crushing and oppressing they use tools they use machinery these days but they use tools and the way they describe it is they have to rip and shred and tear the flesh of the olives interesting that jesus is in that place and the very next day that's exactly what happened to his flesh maybe you feel like you're there today there's a pressure on your life there's a pressure internally there's a pressure in your soul well maybe it's in your circumstances today jesus christ he wants to meet you and jesus is in this place and he's pouring out his heart to god he's anxious the bible says that he was weighed down by he knew exactly what was going to happen the very next day the very next day tomorrow he was going to give up his life they would brutally torture him till he was unrecognizable he knew that was about to take place so there is anxieties weighed down by this he's pressed on every side this is one of the times we hear jesus call god his father jesus didn't just relate to god as an authoritarian figure it was his dad it was a closeness and an intimacy of relationship and he calls out to him dad if it's possible can you take this cup from me meaning is there any other way we can do and then he says if there's not let your will be done jesus was pressed with anxiety with anguish and with extreme uh extreme stress i've no understanding what it would be like to know the following day you would willfully give up your life the bible says that is sweated blood it's a medical event to sweat blood when there is extreme anxiety you know when somebody dies if the person knows that they are going to pass away often what happens is the family will gather round by their bed and the person will share things they will write write notes or they will share words important words before they leave before they depart this earth and go into eternity and so jesus knows that this is his last his last moments before he enters into the next day and you'd think that the most important words would be spoken now right because it's the last time [Music] here's what's amazing is that in that place when he was extremely full of stress and anxiety his thoughts were on you his thoughts were on me he could have been thinking a thousand other things but his prayer was this god let them be one it must be important right just before he dies that we would be one in john 17 it's all about being intertwined in relationship with god and with each other not critical or competitive not judging who's got the corner on what god's doing but it's all about you and i being able to flow with him in love amen that we would be one like you and me perfected intertwined completed why so that the whole world would know what did he want them to know he wanted the whole world to know that god had sent him and that god loves you amen that god loves this world jesus knows this that there are certain things that cannot be accomplished until you and i are one so this is a serious situation for you and i this is about maturity right now in this season we're called to fight for one we're gonna learn how to fight for one we're gonna learn how to build and protect unity he doesn't just pray that we're aligned all that will just get along he prays for our oneness he wants us to be spiritually united our strength as believers would be as one and here's the challenge is this you can't just have your own encounter with god and fulfill the scripture encounters personal encounters with god are important right we need to have those with god but you can't just be one with god without being in unity with your brothers and sisters it doesn't work like that and that's where the challenge comes in for you and i because we can't put conditions on what jesus prayed god sets the standard here not me not you and that is the challenge it's not about liking the person next to you it's about can i love them can i flow with them he didn't ask us to be uniform he's calling out that we would be united and it's different amen twice in there he reiterates our the importance of our unity it's it's got a function it's got a role it enables a fractured broken world to see the truth of the gospel when you and i can be one without unity church our message and our mission are completely compromised and that's serious without unity we leave ourselves wide open for the enemy we gotta fight for the one amen right now the world needs to see before it hears our oneness a true representation of him and if we're honest being one is actually a struggle for us right sometimes we're good sometimes we don't do so well at it sometimes we're good with this group because now the people i flow with really well but when these people come in it gets tough and we've got to get past that we've got to get past that we're going to grow up into maturity amen it's not about liking it's about being able to love you know what the enemy doesn't want us to walk in oneness but it is possible if he prayed it it's possible that we would be full of love strong bold full of justice but not argumentative generous problem solvers full of faith the supernatural power of god flowing together it's possible amen jesus chose disciples he chose men that were radically different in their personality in their political view and their temperament it was because of the glaring differences that their unity was so evident to the world around them you aren't called to be a cookie-cutter christian i said before we're not it's not about uniformity it's about unity that means that we're diverse that means we celebrate the differences but we learn how to flow together because there's a greater cause the cause of christ amen we bring our diverse gifts we bring our diverse personalities we bring everything that is about us and we join it together in him amen some will be strong in one thing some will be strong in another thing you might be sitting there and say well i'm not strong in anything that's a lie first your presence is wanted it's celebrated it's about unity so we can win the lost it's about unity so his presence is manifest it's about his kingdom coming that you and i would be one living out john 17. when we learn to do that we will radically shift our society so what is oneness what is it anyway i want to start with us personally because it starts with us and then it flows out into our brothers and sisters oneness with god has been so intertwined with him in a daily relationship with him expressing my love for him and if you're here today and you say i i don't know how to do that that's okay we can show you you know how we start you start with gratefulness this is how i start my day every day god i'm so grateful i'm so grateful you didn't leave me like i was you can start with the lord's prayer our father who art in heaven you are great you are good you are mighty you are marvelous that's how we start a daily relationship with god maybe you might want to put on a worship song and you pour out exalt him don't go with your shopping list exalt him that's how we become one and i want to say this if you're here and you've been you've had a relationship with god for quite some time we can hear things like that and shut off and go i know that and here's the problem there are a lot of people who know a lot about god you've read a lot of books who believe in him but i want to ask you church the ones that have been in christ for more than a year and if you've been in christ many more years than that are you in a daily relationship with jesus because if you're not this is a really dangerous place this is not mature christians this is people that know how to ride on the mouse wheel you and i are called into a daily relationship with jesus christ that says god how great you are the moment we become so good at having conversations about him and if you if you have more conversations about him than to him i want to ask you in all love and all sincerity check your heart that is not christian living church this is we've got there's a fierce attack we can see it in afghanistan but the attack against you my friend is so much more or is just as strong and fierce in this hour the hour we're living in i'm saying if you're a mature christian and you don't have a relationship with jesus every day i don't mean sitting putting the worship music on and then starting to flick through instagram on your feed or facebook it's not relationship it's distraction amen i know i know this is a word for us this morning and an hour we want to philosophy i don't even know how to say that word we want to talk about philosophy about god about all these things but if you're not in relationship you've got nothing you and i we are we are heading into times where we need to know who he is we need to know what he says to us so that we can stand with wisdom and boldness and courage and we can show the world around us who he is we can display it because we know him amen we can't wait for the next church service that's the icing on the top when we gather together with the brethren amen in this hour build a life with him again if you're feeling convicted start to talk to him now say god that's me i need to build i need to come back not just when you need him because then we get angry with him because he didn't do what we wanted right we don't bargain with god we relate to him he is my first priority every single day i am a way better person i'm a way better mom i'm a way better wife and i'm a way better leader when he has my first in the morning amen oneness is adopting his ways oneness is surrender it's the most powerful thing that you could do each day and say god i give you my day i ask you to take charge of it oneness is building the word into my life oneness is letting kingdom values lead my life oneness is that i set my life to honor him and out of that place you will become one with others because you know what it's really easy to love people when you're so in love with jesus because you capture his heart amen i in them and him and me complete unity jesus understood the power of we in john 17 he said so that they may be brought into complete unity five times in john 17. he asked god to make us one why when we're one we point to the world we point the world to the sent one jesus christ our unity is a chief sign to everybody to everybody around us that god is among us fight for the one today fight for the one firstly for you and then fight for it with your brothers and your sisters incredible things happen when we are in unity when we come into that place of oneness and i just want to show you some of them firstly when we're one it unleashes supernatural global and gospel movements i want to show you acts chapter 2 we know the story the disciples met 120 of them in the upper room and when they were praying and in one accord what happened the holy spirit came there was a shift amen there was a shift when there was one there was a transfer of power from one way of living to another and the result was that three thousand were won that day and baptized that's the power of one let's go further down to acts 13 a diverse group of believers who are fasting and praying for god's movement this was at a place called antioch they were a multicultural group of leaders and they were united in prayer what happened i'm going to read this to you from acts 13 while they were worshiping the lord and fasting the holy spirit said set apart for me barnabas and saul for the work to which i have called him to and after they fasted and prayed they placed their hands on them and they were sent out a new gospel movement was launched this was the first recorded church planting that ever took place a mission that dramatically multiplied the church of christ was because of a diverse group of believers they weren't cookie cutter they came together and they fasted and prayed as one and the holy spirit came the same power is here today the power of a church uniting in prayer when we unite in prayer the result is multiplication you and i are mandated to this so what's become of your prayer life ah prabhup now what's become when you first met jesus what's become of that fire that was there amen [Music] unity unleashes salvation paul and silas in acts 16 they were preaching and they got a crowd rose up against them and they got beaten beyond recognition put in a prison but they wouldn't stop and they continued to praise they united they didn't need a large group it just took two united in prayer united in praise to jesus you know what the supernatural power of god came broke off the chains broke off the prison doors not just of them but of everybody there you know what the result was that jayla got saved and then his whole household got saved when you were one salvation will be released into our city into our region and into our nation arguing won't bring salvation oneness it releases his glory and second chronicles the the musicians and the singers they only sung two lines and they were in such one accord that the glory of god came and it fell in their place and it says the priests couldn't continue the service i want that day when you and i that we don't rely on a team up here to feed us that you and i come ready to be one with heaven amen we join together one with heaven [Music] oneness releases revival there are stories accounts all over the world where people have got together and prayed and repented and cried out and god came there's one particular one in colombia there was a cartel a drug cartel and they were running and they were ruining the whole area the whole city the whole place there were murders people were being gunned down there's a pastor who stood up he started to pray and he got murdered by them before he got murdered by them he was trying to bring the people together with for with unity and he couldn't people were really fragmented but once said to say but once he was murdered it was like a seed that was sowing in and the people started to come together and they decided enough was enough and they started to fill the stadiums in the city this is true they started to fill the stadiums in the city and they started to pray and revival started to break out the crime rate went down the people the the drug lords the cartel was broken up first time in years the police have been able to get a handle on him amen oneness brings revival oneness will stop or drop our crime rate [Music] unity brings victory we know the story of joshua they're in one accord marching they had an incredible victory they could never have done on the own dave and i've been there we've stood on the walls of jericho these things are monster they're monstrous there is no way one man there's no way even an army could push those things down oneness brought the supernatural power of god you might say well these are all really big things but you know what unity it also brings fruit that remains remember the story of jesus and the five thousand men that didn't include the woman and children so there was loads of people there and they needed to feed the people and he says have the people sit down and a young boy comes with his loaves and his fish and he joins them to jesus he becomes one with jesus he joins to the vision you know what happens god multiplies the gift god multiplies the gift on the little boy's life and then it releases out to the people it was a fruit that remained amen it fed the people when you and i bring what we have and we say to him you can have that god will take it and he will break it and then he will multiply it and he'll release it amen can you imagine what we could do if you and i truly float as one there's a scripture in genesis and it says this they were one people speaking the same working for one goal in one vision and they were united and god said together there is nothing they couldn't accomplish the king james version says this and now nothing will be restrained from them which they imagine to do it's time for us to wake up and see what's in front of us everyone else sees problems but you and i are called to be calebs that we would see with different eyes i'm so excited about this season because i can see possibilities we've got an opportunity to feed our community we've got an opportunity to be one we've got an opportunity to gather amen we've got an opportunity to be jesus in the skin right throughout our region amen it's going to take you and i to surrender to be one [Music] jesus and i'm just gonna i'm just gonna bring this in i've got a whole lot of other things i was gonna share but for the sake of time this morning here's one i just i wanna speak into because the major enemy of being one is division how many times have you been in a conversation and somehow along the way it just gets twisted and it causes a mess fight for the one this morning usually it's the enemy that has twisted something taken it out of proportion fight for the relationship fight for the one the strategy of hell is to divide to call suspicion and misunderstand and it goes on in church too the goal of the enemy is that you would never be one with god that you would be insecure in your identity and that the we would never ever be able to become one if he can divide you he can conquer you in every sphere of your life it's time to take background well how do i do that how do i do that it starts by healing areas in our heart areas and our identity amen the bible says a house divided against itself it can't stand you know what you and i are a house there's different types of houses that the enemy will try and divide and the first one is yourself he wants to divide you from your true identity many of us because of the traumas and hurts and wrong belief systems we have we've got a borrowed or a mistaken identity it's not who we are maybe we've got a stolen identity the enemy started stealing identity right back in the garden of eden he wants to divide you from your assignment he wants you not to live in freedom that you would live in shame and rejection what does it take to move you one minute on fire the next minute you don't know where you stand hot and cold and james it says for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown around and tossed by the wind for such a person ought not to think or expect that he would receive anything from the lord being double-minded being a double-minded man unstable and restless in all his ways and everything he thinks feels and decides church if you need healing in your identity i can't go into it today but here's what it is your identity was given to you by god and you and i are called to fully embrace that that you are loved you are fully loved just as you are you are fully forgiven you are fully alive in him and you were made in his image i want to encourage you to pursue healing in this area another area the enemy wants to divide us in our marriages the enemy wants to divide your marriage he doesn't want you to be one with your spouse if you are married and things are going well then get a battle plan now get it and be strong before you hit a bump in the road if you are hitting the bump in the road then get together and acknowledge it things aren't good we need to work together maybe you need help maybe you don't need to reach out to a leader for some council but fight today for the one your family the enemy wants to divide your children from you wants to divide your brothers and your sisters your parents from you today fight for the one acknowledge it see it don't ignore it [Music] what about church if this is your church dave and i love you we love you don't be half in and half out be all in that's what one is it's not whether you know what there is no perfect church you ain't gonna find a perfect church anywhere but if we're all one we can do something for him amen we need to protect we need to shut down criticism amen i love the scripture in hebrews 10 25 24 and 25 it says discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them towards acts of compassion do beautiful works as expressions of love and here we go this is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together as some have formed the habit of doing these are not my words this is the bible in fact we should come together even more frequently eager to encourage and urge each other onward stay connected turn up the other area that the enemy wants to divide you from is from the word of god that you would be more entertained by media and you would feed more from media than you would the word of god i'm telling you friends the media uh who is great today is gone tomorrow what they thought was right yesterday will be different today it is not a sure foundation for you and i just watch out for the way we speak pastor dave last week talked about restraining our mouth proverbs 3 13 3 it says the one who guards his mouth who thinks before he speaks protects his life the one who opens his lips wide and chatters without thinking will come to a ruin holy spirit i just want to ask you a couple of questions this morning i'm going to bring it in now these are questions to ask yourself every day do i need to restrain my tongue do my conversations or my behaviors cause division [Music] where do i need to shut down negative talk where do i need to stand up and not draw back where do i need to be one with god and my brothers and sisters where do i need to learn how to love even if i don't like in my relationship with god if i'm honest right now do i have a relationship with god when i was praying yesterday for the service god spoke something to me and he said this tell them i miss them tell them i miss them there are people here there are people watching online people in the overflow and you've got a lot to say about god and that is wonderful but he misses you he misses the way you used to set time aside for him be the one who fights for unity today it doesn't give up be the one who goes the extra mile for that relationship for that friendship be the one who has the courage to say sorry and also release forgiveness be the one who pushes off apathy be the one who carves a new tradition in your family and breaks family patterns be the one who pursues an identity in christ be the one who prays and seeks god more than they talk about him be the one who stays connected to church and shows up consistently be the one who chooses to build a stronger prayer life be the one who builds closer to god the bible says this and by all men by this all men will know that you are with me you're my disciples if you love if you love one another this morning with every eye closed every head bowed [Music] i felt god say we need to build him an altar this morning i really do feel there are people and you actually you love god it's not that you've backslidden but it's just that you're not in a real relationship with him every day if that's you every eye closed every head bell this is between you and god why don't you just lift your hand and say that's me that's me people lifting their hands it's courage people lifting their hands i bless you today if you're an overflow you're in your home we're gonna build him an altar this morning we're gonna build him an altar and say god we're coming back i'm not talking about being backslidden we know you love god i know you love him but he's become a casual acquaintance of ours we will never be one when we're a casual acquaintance this morning i'm gonna oh i'm gonna open this altar up along here and if you say you know what god i want to do business with you why don't you come out of your seat before you do we're going to just uh if you don't know the person next to you just make sure you leave a gap we understand our regulations and we don't want to get caught up in them if you are whanau friends you know people you're more than welcome to be together but why don't we just come why don't we stand now this is serious church if we're going to make a mark in the season we are in a season of war if we're going to make a mark in this season you and i need to be connected to the one who gives life we need to be connected not by knowledge not by opinion not by arguments not by our strong standard but by my love for him that's how we lead our families that's how we lead in our jobs that's how we lead in our schools it's how we lead in our neighborhoods if you're here today and you just say you know what i do have a relationship with jesus but i want to make a fresh commitment i want to build him an altar this morning why don't you come down the front now i want to open this altar up to anybody that wants to come down and says i wanna make my life count i want to be i want to fight for the one i want to fight for the one today why don't you come out of your seats jesus jesus come out of your seats come right to the front this morning there's no shame in this place there's no shame in this place shame comes from the enemy pride comes from the enemy fear judgment come from the enemy [Music] redemption comes from god [Music] jesus if you're in your home if you're in the overflow why not wherever you are why don't you kneel this is business with you and god we're gonna build him an altar this morning will we come to you whether you're on the altar or you're in your seat we're gonna we're gonna pray together i love you to lift your hands to the lord every person in this place every person online god we want to be one again we want to be intertwined with you we want to be so in love with you that the issues of the world fall away and that we carry your presence so strongly that we influence everybody around us today if you're building an altar to him why don't we come to him i'm going to pray but i i want you to engage your heart with him jesus we come to you today and we build you an altar where we've talked about you more then we've related to you jesus we're sorry god we're sorry god we want you you're the one we want you the one we live for so we build you an altar this morning and we place our lives on the altar of oneness god on the altar of sacrifice for the one you're our one we fight for our relationship with you we fight for the one this morning lord set us on fire again for you that we'd be so caught up with you jesus we come back to you with our whole hearts with our whole hearts that we may be known as a people that are one and that all men may know who you are and that we would fulfill john 17. we would be calibs with a different spirit jesus we honor you today king of kings we're going to sing this song the
