just two blocks from the bigs family home lived a man with a criminal record that included child molestation nothing the authorities found however indicated that he'd been involved in Miguel's disappearance from there investigators interviewed 20 sex offenders in the region that also proved to be a dead end leaving no stone unturned authorities even suspected Miguel's father Darian but he too ended up with a cleared name Mesa police have done everything and anything possible just to see clues on where Miguel is however no meaningful evidence turned up years past despite receiving 10,000 tips from the public conducting 500 interviews collecting 800 pieces of evidence and searching thirty-five abandoned santan mountain of mine shafts they still couldn't find mikkel until the case had officially gone cold ten years had passed after Miguel's initial disappearance when investigators from Mesa received another tip but this one however didn't come from an Arizona resident strangely it came from 1,500 miles away in Neenah Wisconsin on March 14 2009 a man had walked into the lobby of the Neenah Police Department and handed over a dollar bill that he'd found in a collection of money for Girl Scout cookies but the dollar was far from ordinary written along its perimeter in a scratchy childlike handwriting is a simple message my name is Mikkel Biggs kidnapped from Mesa Arizona I'm alive they were shocked and surprised however they were thinking that there were discrepancies with the bill and it's a bit odd since her first name is spelled incorrectly it swayed them to believe that it might not be legitimate they occasionally get a lot of tips and when they do they follow up on it optimism wasn't high with investigators but there was a little spring of hope for a second however collecting fingerprints on the bill would have been useless the bill could have changed hands hundreds of times the Biggs family tried to analyze it as well thinking that McKell would have been twenty by that point is the bill a hoax timbre ass did someone play a cruel joke she suspected so the fact that her name was spelled wrong is kind of discredited I don't think that would be something she'd do as of 2018 the Biggs family remained committed to finding out the fate of their beloved Mikkel someone knows something Kimber said and someday we will have answers it's hard for us to think that someone we love is missing and we don't know where they are it gives us a feeling of being broken with a missing piece it's hard but one thing is for sure we will never lose hope and finding the ultimate fate no matter how long it took share this chilling cold case evidence with your friends and family and we might feature you in our next video thanks for watching guys
