yo dudes welcome to 5-minute Indian chickpea curry Ready Steady Go whoa okay here we go so while Dave's chatting that the rules of the game we're gonna cook this in five minutes straight and we we're allowed drain our chickpeas and just to add to the proper excitement are we on are there we are we're okay we're on whoo okay I had a bit of work anyway so we're down to four minutes forty two tablespoons of oil we've got one red onion okay this is part of our five minute dinner series so it's all about trying to get you to eat a little edge and show that dinner really quick I know there is two of us here and but Stephen is just wielder of the spoon of truth he's not gonna be thank you teamed up with a beautiful wooden spoon of truth okay so we've got the garlic's gonna in pretty rough there okay I've got about a thumb-sized piece of ginger ready to meet at les that's about half a thumb-sized piece of ginger I'm getting microplane and just grate it I've got half a rack shiney I'm leaving the seeds in I like it hot if you don't like it hard to take the seeds egg I'm just gonna slice them up if you do have a superhot pan like this I guess by using a microplane means you know you're gonna grate it finer it means gonna permeate the flavors near the dish senior genius poet class act coolers are looking nice pants heating up straighten it thirty eight three and a half minutes left okay so we what kind of went over our game okay okay time to get a bits in buying it on bars boom okay seriously hot okay you want to get them onions going okay that's nice is on let go okay we're gonna go is a spice you want to get a better nice a kiss to warm up okay three minutes twenty two tablespoons of curry powder T's are no 1 tablespoon of curry powder teaspoon of cumin teaspoon of coriander and a teaspoon of pepper and paprika okay ready in your skull lads beautiful okay we're gonna just literally cook these on the heat for a bit 30 seconds just to wake them up okay I'm waiting up claps wake up wake up the Sun to share your okay phone anyway I'm going in there I've got one tin of chopped tomatoes it goes beautiful and it goes we've got one tin of coconut milk nice - the coconut milk is gonna add just a bit of fat creamy lovely sweetness I'm using full fast but if you're you know if you want to use low fat just go first why they heat off that pan seriously huh but I've nothing to mild as the dishes still have a 5 content of about 10 prevent and we've got one tin of chickpeas I just drained and rinsed them you know you rig a salt pepper here as salt I'm gonna go at 1 teaspoon to start with okay when teaspoon of salt and I going 1/2 a teaspoon of black pepper beautiful okay now we're pretty close to darkness are we didn't always have to collect 2 minutes 16 left and the lads are pretty much there this really needs to cook we need the flavors to develop we've a whole two minutes to develop flavors quietly quickly flavors develop okay I've got one decent bunch of coriander I'm just gonna chop about 50 grams worth so you might need that much but I'm just gonna chop the stalks in first they're gonna have a nice bit of flavor you don't waste anything in terms of flavors so this is a serious season but if you know like coriander use chives luck parsley whatever else you're into it's gonna give a nice blanket color I'm also going to take a lime and zest in just a little bit of the skin it's just gonna add an extra little bit of citrus pain so I literally just that's just a tiny little bit just gonna add a little bit more acidity in milk and a fresh binder seriously woman at 26 left so cheese we're cruising this dish will serve to hungry people or else I pray that they're Morpho and I would suggest if you do want to serve with a grain faster than this with a whole nail couscous because it doesn't take five minutes to cook alongside this dish looks already make a coriander Wow so I didn't know what loads of coriander go in with half as much of you if you're not Emma's 50 grams so you can easily go 25 grams no problem yeah aka a small bunch you can put in a bit of peppermint food yeah gotta have a teaspoon okay look at that minute left flowers okay we're getting onto a half a lime juice of half a lime here we go high squeeze now in terms of their service I was like with an avocado so I'm going to serve this with half an hour cat oh I guess half an avocado per person boom ooh pretty good time 36 seconds pretty gonna get a bowl yeah sure that was Cruz EJ lads we're getting quick at these fighters nerves I think we've got to make eight other ones eight other ones up on our channel of other 5-minute dinners so I think we're good to go boom you know officially done 20 seconds left I think that was quick yeah that's just to justice you so seasoning okay many people get confused with seasoning and essences tasting it and seeing what as the dish need attitude to achieve a balanced dish we are never pretty good first time I like chime up alarm gum here nobody really super work tuned let's pour it into dish just to show you how I wouldn't even have to I don't have to anyway thanks for watching there was five minutes simple genuine Igor do / -
