i wanted to show you guys a little glimpse into my morning usually every morning i've been still um journaling every morning i sit here with my coffee and i take out my cart that is overloading and i just uh you know do some doodling i have my pens all my washi and my stamps and stuff on the cart so it's easy and then when i'm done i just put it in the back so this is my march journal flip through it the month started off a little bit slow some days are busier than others some days are not i like to anything that happens during the day or the day before i like to put in um i can't believe march is already over i like doing my washi tape and layering and my little word stickers and stuff it's super fun and i like doing a color theme for the day or whatever i'm feeling usually um like green and this one was pink and then i went into the blues um and here we are for april so yeah april and then i just go ahead and pre-let prenumber sometimes my dailies let's see march so i like to use up here um sometimes it says saturday with the number i flip it around and try new things all the time so these these i got it um fiber treat tie dye diva she has a website that sells stickers and i like those and she also sells like these little dots and i really like those to put them all around a lot of the other stuff is just kind of washy from all over and depending on my week for my theme i add the washi wait that was the wrong day was that the wrong day here is march no that's february sorry so march 1st 2nd 3rd 4th of 6th so usually i'll go ahead on a sunday and pre-do everything because i know like tuesday i die wednesday i die thursday i die sometimes friday i die so depending on um also a lot of people on instagram i follow the hashtag hobonichi and then some people do this on the bottom where they put what they eat i usually do it every day sometimes if i don't feel good i just write no but other than that i take the washi tape and pull it all down as to like block out the whole day so and then you know just the theme of stickers sometimes i start in the day and then end up in the week i a lot of people you know there's so many people that do so many different things and there's so many different things that you can do i like if this works for me and it makes me happy when i open it up so i like the color i like the stickers you know i like writing stuff um most of the days i really do the same thing so this for example this is this week and i kind of went with like a pasteli theme i didn't do the bottom uh food i was a little uh chatted this week so i didn't this week i added a line so yeah and then i just go in and pre-book everything else i can't believe it though [Music] yeah but the daily ones are my favorite uh the the the journal parts because you know i tend to not stress about it sometimes i'll go in and do a few extras the next day um you know if i'm doing it here then i kind of add a little here it all depends on what you want you know there's so many different people that do so many different things and there's so many different ways i know i said this before but nothing is wrong you know there's no right way no wrong way when i first started using the hobonichi i didn't really understand um how to use it so it was very helpful in watching like the videos to see how it was helpful on how to use it for example i don't use this sp get these in the monthly's in uh month at a glance i don't really use those i mean i just would go in here and you know write what what i have to do so that that works for me but again what works for you so i really enjoy there are uh this shop is on etsy it's called paper game and they have a bunch of this courtney diaz that i follow um cindy by the lakeside had mentioned to follow her uh a lot of people on youtube on instagram follow her and she has art that you print each month for her patreon sorry and she loves these meatball stickers and immediately when i saw them i was like oh my god i do have a bunch in here of regular ones but the repeats are so fun and they're called meatball and then you can sort of cut them out and use ones like you could just use that you could just cut them out and use but the repeats are so long see and they're so cute so this one is the neutral theme and then i got this one this week this is a blue theme and i know this one is a pink theme these are kind of expensive but and this is a green theme but you get so much in here that i probably will never be able to finish this so there's just a lot and another shop that i like is nico neca and they are in new york and this is actually one of my favorite shops she packages this so beautiful every package comes packaged like this it is unbelievable her packaging is amazing and i love supporting local shops and i get i get a lot of stuff from her i like all these different um washi tapes she has um there's so many different places to get i just like to get stuff um that i see that i like that makes me happy [Music] so ted is on the on a zoom call anyway for those of you that have a hook or a cart any kind of part from anywhere michael sells them amazon you can get them this one's from ikea i do have a few i use them for work i put a lot of stuff in them this i bought just a regular s hook at lowe's and i hooked it on and then i took my large ring washi tape that carries my washi and i just kind of hung it on the side isn't that fun very fun so just wanted to share that with you also um what else is my favorite things this i feel i use this every day this is a tombow permanent adhesive you could get this at michael's you could get it on amazon and this is what i take to some of the things that i have for example like these little bits have no sticky back so i just use that and i use it as tape and it's and i just stick it on and it works it doesn't come off it's it's they're great so i always like to have one or two backups because i go through them a lot also from jetpens recently i ordered a bunch of they had a set of black markers or gel pens now i do use my fountain pens i like to use but what i found in my hobonichi is that when i go to write in this part and i'm just writing and going fast it it smudges so i was looking on jetpens which is a website that's that they sell like all sorts of pens and planner supplies and all sorts of stuff like that they had little packs that you bought that were like all black gel pens and then you can try them for yourself to see which ones you like so for example i was watching some youtube videos and a few of the people recommended for the hobonichi this sarasa dry by who makes this one let's see zebra so i ordered a couple of these now i like a .05 tip i i like more of a medium tip so this is an 07 so i personally like between a .05 and a 0.07 so that's just me and if you don't want to watch this part you could just fast forward i got this gel sharpie 05 at fiber tree which is again tie dye diva she sells these in her website i really like the sharpie one um and it's fun to experiment with all the different ones and see which ones you like i would definitely recommend jet pens and they have uh they even have color sets where you could do pinks and grays and blues and aquas and pinks and all that so that's definitely fun another thing that i would definitely recommend i have a lot of stamps i am obsessed with these little um they're called dewdrop brilliance trying to focus it sorry guys and it's a little small stamp pad and they come in all colors and they're about three dollars to four dollars each and that way you don't have to have the whole large thing and the whole large pad to you know space and you could get like six or eight colors and then you know you can have them and keep them here these are also other ones that i just got at yoseka stationary which is another shop that i like to shop at in um they're based in brooklyn here on the east coast but they got these in hold on and there are 10 these tend to sell out everywhere a lot of the stuff that i buy it's like sells out so fast so if i see it i buy it really fast it's um it's not coop stress it's plantar stress mag calls it planner stress anyhow these are so raw mommy and these are little stamp pads they are the cutest thing ever and they all connect to each other also and they have different colors now i've been saving them so i'm not kind of i'm just you know playing with them um where is this that i wanted to show you this is that la dolce vita sticker set another uh company if you live um internationally london gifties is amazing she also makes a lot of her own washi tape uh i have a lot of her stuff her packaging is unbelievable everything i love her washi tape though they're beautiful again i'll link it all below but she has these in her shop also uh she has a lot of the ladoche vita and she has the meatball but that's if you live overseas uh this i bought at this shop journal land and hold on let me see if i could get it open with one hand but this sorry there we go so this is the la dolce vita this is like the anniversary pack so i just like collecting these this is like so much fun for me we call it my art therapy right meg so anyway this is i just like collecting them my friend renee sent me this look at this isn't this gorgeous i don't even want to like use it i'm just gonna look at it it reminds me of um the wizard of oz like somewhere over the rainbow it's so pretty i love it okay so yeah those are a lot of my washi tapes um from the shops that i get from i do also like to go on etsy and i find some cute stuff oh there's another shop that i recently bought a whole bunch of stuff from in new york city my mom's been going there for like oh since i'm a little girl the ink pad in new york city i got these stickers from there uh these are so cute little ones um what else i like to just here's like a these tapes are so fun these are the kitta ones and they sell these at nico neca they have them at the yoseka they have them all over and it's a i'll show you an open pack what they look like it looks like a little matchbook and you just peel off one of them and it's washy and then you just peel off the back and i use it to block out my days or whatever it's just fun and yeah so anyway enough of me babbling on but i just wanted to share because i get questions all the time and everyone keeps saying please share your journal pages please share them so if you know hope i didn't bore you too much but what else do oh these are little i got this one at yoseka too it's like a little file pouch a clear file pouch and i keep a lot of my cuttings or stickers or all these kind of printables that i print out from the patreon people that i support so this is that courtney diaz that's her stuff it's really cute so i just keep it all in this file also i'm obsessed with words uh these sticker words or letters i love them i love incorporating them in my pages i've been collecting these stickers with the letters for years i just love the different sizes shapes colors all that and these are i got these on amazon i bought a whole bunch of bags that came in that pack and they're really cute because you could just keep them and pull out a word and if it works with the day it works if it doesn't you just keep going so i like to keep them all in you you know close to me and then i use them whatever and these are also from the fiber tree [Music] she has like little saying she switches it up also uh weekly or bi-weekly so she has a whole bunch of stuff where she you know she changes it up so there's always new stuff so you should definitely check out her shop and what else do i have oh i got these stickers from the ink pad in new york city they have an online stop shop and i also just recently got these are feathers okay and then we were talking about this in the planner zoom meeting that we had i use the canon ivy there's also an hp one i print i i have an app on my phone and then i print from this and it's a mini printer and show you what it looks like so this is what a photo looks like it's just a little photo and you can print whatever you want out and then usually i will just use this and stick away in my book um you could do like mood boards themes whatever you want here's just a pretty picture of paint that i found on instagram and then here's my minty unicorn so i just like the colors and whatever inspires me to just keep going i didn't use it for a while this month um but i like using it let's see here we go that's my inspo with my eggs so yeah it's fun i definitely recommend it i mean it is expensive but you'll use it i really enjoy keeping like a journal of all the things that go on or like my yarn and stuff like that so there you go 10 minutes of planner talk [Laughter] also i did get this uh 2021 mega weeks i've been using it i've been kind of forcing myself to use it whereas this is no stickers no frills this is just all lists and things that you need to do so in here it's i got these little clips from midori they're super thin and you just sort of slide it on the page and you could use them as little tabs but these are real i really really like these they're from midori i got them on jet pens and these are the brass ones but i use them a lot also a lot of people use these ollie clips i really like this too it's a magnetic clip so it holds your pages down or whatever you need but i really liked these for this hobonichi weeks now i like to for my hobonichi weeks i like to just put everything that i can in here there's no you know it's really just work personal whatever i have to do i just throw it in here i just kind of combined my work and personal i really don't have that much going on in my personal life so so i just kind of just mix everything together some people use this for work or this for personal and this for fun or you know vice versa whatever works for you i kind of just found that that happy medium where they both work for me i leave this out i also leave this out on my kitchen island um and i just leave it and i go through it i usually don't write in this only in the morning or at night but i do write in this often during the day so that's that and that's it hope you enjoyed this part enjoy came yesterday and i am so excited you bite me don't bite me so this month koopa collection is angel right khan i was trying to take pictures of angel last week and connie kept going in the front right so yes i linked it below for angel right connie let's see what we got so the other girls are in the in the woods eating all the ticks so i am i just took two pounds of sprouted almonds and i roasted them in the oven for 10 minutes and then i am going to put them in the vitamix and make homemade almond butter and my camera is not focusing there we go so you just put those in there and that's it we're gonna try it okay so anyway yeah yeah we'll keep the angle here do you see this that is something crazy so it is friday good friday and i am making my hot cross buns and this is the recipe i've used a lot of different recipes but this is the recipe that i really really liked for the last two years this is allrecipes.com and what you do is you mix all the ingredients and then add it to your bread machine and then it goes in there the only difference is is that i put my currants in while it's going you can add it here but i always miss it and i forget so hot cross buns in the oven and then we are going to find my other thing that i'm making my easter bread so let's look it up here ah [Music] here we go oh you guys look whoa april 9th to april 19th get ready here's the easter bread that i make i'll link down the recipe below that i use i forget every year that's why i write it down um i think it's this one an italian in my kitchen this is it so i make this bread but i make it larger and then i put the eggs on the side i've been making this for a very long time probably like 20 years but it's so good i'm not going to color my eggs this year because we have our own eggs but i will also link this below and i will show you guys so here we go here are the hot cross buns i my i had a really pretty um pastry brush and not to put blame but ted put it in the dishwasher and it went kaput so i'm just using a paper towel this is just an egg wash it's a regular egg yolk and i'm just kind of patting it on here so that it's all coated i have to every time i order from sirla tub or any of those places i forget to order my pastry brush so there we go and then i will stick this in the oven for 35 minutes come out it doubled in size i'm so excited and then i will frost there we go [Music] [Applause] radio that leslie knit as a sample from last spring and i am taking a picture because it's nice and eastery i have my old vintage cowboy boots on and i am taking a picture with angel today because she is the new coop collection chicken of the month it sounds like from like chick-fil-a or some restaurant check them out the mug could be there maybe we should post the uh collection and chick-fil-a yeah are those kings road in london yes so here also i made easter eggs uh no easter egg cookies so we're good we are going to gosh and those are those are yeah those are bad no those are really great mike i uh got into that of course i started up and he said it was done it wasn't done and it was done and it was way done so i have oh the second one is here so round two is here and that's that yeah what else is it going to say i don't know but we're going to go out and take a picture let's go get the chicken i got to put on my chicken okay it's perfect it's beautiful sunny it's good so we are my quarters of the way through leave it to something red bank mike wanted uh protein waffles so i am making protein waffles are they done oh they're done oh i got it flip hold on hold on can you give me the thing what do you want the tongue the plate so yeah tj put so much oh wow um look at that protein he puts so much coconut oil or coconut oil in here that they actually fry seriously you want some too or not uh not right now no no because i have to make the rest you want to make the rest yeah maybe i'll take it feel free to help yourself it's uh you know kind of kind of so oh they are kind of they're like fried you know that tj might have us did you put the lemon in these yes i think i really like the lemon the lemon zest i really like that a lot and then you put the vanilla in these vanilla lemon zest i really like that combo my friend genie's uh homemade vanilla that really makes a difference it does doesn't these are a little hard though they're fried they're like fries all right coconut oil water oil so i made some other ones this is totally not a good angle oh you're putting the almond butter oh yeah just kinda mmm this is the new chef show the new chef show and we didn't have our toast with our jam because now we keep saying oh let's save it because the bread looks so you know but we're gonna have another bread we'll have multiple breads so we have a lot of breads for tomorrow oh that might be good with french toast or you could put this on your put this on your waffles that's what i'm gonna do inaugural run it with the waffle to be back put it on there all right yeah let's go yeah i love jam so do you really it's my favorite do you want a new knife or are you going to use it i'm going to use the one with the peanut butter all in look at that right i'll show you by the way i spilled oil on this sweatshirt that i bought from little lemon and instead of uh throwing it away i ta i bleached it so we have a new thing so i went to while ted was in the car hobby lobby because i couldn't take a picture with angel so i'm gonna put all the chicken yarn in here and use that as our um chicken thing i mean the sun is coming like right in isn't that the cutest i wanted my friend meg got these and they were on sale for 50 off so it's a really good price so yeah there's megan duggan and this month was our megan degen card so fun look at how cute and you either got fatty sundays cinnamon sugar birthday cake or sprinkles that sounds like a nice noise so that was that and then we had our chicken tea which was here tea pigs english breakfast isn't that so cute this is where i keep all my tea that i ship for orders and stuff my office i'm supposed to clean it today and i didn't do it look at the state of it it is a disaster but we're going to take an hour tomorrow morning and totally clean it organize and get ready because we have filming in here to do for the knit and escape we have filming for allentown so this place needs to be clean it's not that it's dirty it just needs to be organized because we were shipping and getting everything ready and it and we got new cards for our orders isn't that so cute so yeah that's what i will be doing in the morning today i clean the whole house did all that oh god i need to i need to twist and all that so yeah okay well i am off to edit you guys um they're ready here we go waffles i don't morning we have red bank mike on nitin escape is demonstrating how to do a kahuna so that's going to be fun he is teaching everyone how to do a kahuna and we're going to have kahuna sets on the website i had the yarn but i already brought it upstairs to the kahuna room so what i wanted to show you were then saturday at 5 30 i will link the zoom the zoom information down below the allentown fiber festival this is the second year what a bummer that we will not be able to hold it saturday is allentown fiber festival and we will have a zoom where i'll link the details below uh there will be but we're going to do some on dk also minty unicorn and we'll do dreamsicol in this one this is garden du jour on zebra gretzky is licking me but uh what okay garden du jour on zebra there's so much oh look at this this is uh monstera on mohair the lighting in here is awful but it's so fun i promise it's so fun i love the monstera with the garden dijour too here's stonewash on zebra let's see this office is upside down because we were shipping the last of the coop collections that we had some extras and you guys got them so these are the boxes i have to do a huge major clean in here tomorrow stonewash duets dreamsicle on cobble and we have duets minty unicorn some other colors that i didn't name yet uh let's see oh and we have the fun zebra colors coming back i did like a rainbow and that was the plant something i can't remember i can't remember then i have two of these bends that are labeled and twisted these are going to page the framer for the new jersey wall walk so that's that and then i don't know this is just a lot of yarn so we are we are all set do we have any oh all right let's see this is the stone washer wet i thought i showed you guys this i did i really like the stonewashing wet let's see oh i have many skeins over here but those were for um egg colors isn't that cute and this is dreamsicle duet i really love dreamsicle redbank mike named it he named it by the way did i show you guys that i got these at hobby lobby at 50 off yesterday such a good deal such a good deal i got one more in there and then i got this from my hobonichi c l to put on the outside this is dusty rose and there's dreamsicle and i love the way um buttercream looks with them too really soft and pretty okay here's minnie's we have those the bucket's full this is for the mini four where is it oh i think i we have the hold on i didn't is that on my feet do i have dirt on my feet now monstera you guys beet juice so good so good that's the sock um where is it okay here this is minty unicorn sock set okay look how fun is that not springy or what i'm starting them like tomorrow but then i wanted to do my meg and dagon and i can't i don't know we're all back and forth here i don't remember where i put my megan degen here's my megan dick so at least i kept one this time because i haven't i always uh lose out and then i don't get one so i saved a set for myself there and then i have these two those were like old lots of something they didn't come out right so they're mine this is our dk wall i have to add all the mohair on the top and yes it is a disaster so i'm going to get back cooking do you guys like my new headline bennett apron i got this for myself um a couple of weeks ago they finally restocked it i was so excited i have the denim one and i love that one but i really want the one with the polka dots too but i can't have 10 aprons so anyway i'm gonna get back to baking and cooking and getting our food all ready for easter sunday i hope you guys are
