Charles: 'I'll regret inviting them' | Extended Royal family invited, but Sussexes snubbed

is a time of year when you see your friends and family and sometimes have to grit your teeth and bear with some relatives you don't necessarily get on with but if you think you've Got It Bad try being a member of the royal family they are so much the same as us only with knobs on by the sounds of it uh there are reports that King Charles would regret inviting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to sandream for Christmas amid reports that Prince Harry and Megan marle would not decline an invitation okay joining me now is the former uh Royal correspondent of the son Charles Ray hello Charles thank you very much for joining us so what's going on here then so you think if they were invited they'd go no I don't actually um for a start off they're not going to be invited because the uh the King has already made arrangements for who's going to be turning up uh at Singham this Christmas is there is an extended family going to be there camil's two children and grandchildren are going to be there for the first time along with her sister who happens to be um uh a lady for Camila normally and it's so big now that they're going to have to move from the usual room to the ballroom but there's still no room at the end for the monteo Muppet now what is incredible about this is that they let it be known that they would accept an invitation given everything that's gone on just lately the book The Opera Winfrey the slagging off of Contin playing off um and King Charles is quite rightly said I think I'm going to regret doing it because he can't trust his son more importantly he can't trust his daughter-in-law and now we hear today's news that this new book by omed scobby endgame uh which is going to be published on Tuesday and has been serialized in Parry match unfortunately most reporters in this country have got translators and it's been filling the newspapers uh because in it we've got certain Revelations one being that Megan says she's never going to set foot in England again is also he's also saying that the real reason she didn't turn up to the coronation is she didn't want to get back into the Royal soap opera as she as she said remember she said I'm only staying behind because of the kids and everything else absolute TS now omed scobby who wrote Finding freedom and denied that there was any help from Megan and Harry on that book then forced to admit Megan had helped in some way is now saying exactly the same thing as are Harry and Megan but where did scobby get all this great information he certainly didn't get it it from the palace now an old would say like me would say they did cooperated with it either directly or indirectly there's a lot of there's a lot of things in this new book including remember Megan said on oah Winfrey that there was a racist in the royal family who questioned the color of Harry's skin then before he was born she's now saying there's now two members who were racist and it's a very clever they said a member of the royal household that implies not a direct member of the family but someone very close to the family um who knows and she also wrote a letter to the king then Prince Charles naming the two people so it's uh you know there not going to be it's not going to be a happy Christmas first all we just have to apologize for anyone listening for some fruity language there um but obviously it's a subject very many people passionate about and obviously Harry and Megan aren't here to Harry and Megan aren't here to defend themselves but um the book does fascinate me because they denied having anything to do with Omen sco's first book didn't they um but this does sound like it's it's coming very much from the horse's mouth again it does sound like it and we we we all know what authors do you know if you are if you are giving interviews to an author and an author gathers information it may not necessarily go into that first volume of book he may keep he or she may keep something back and then go onto a second book and I think that's what's happened here
