now you probably already know that this red-nosed man treats his crew members pretty badly but the Manga version of buggy is so much more evil when he first gets introduced in the anime there's a scene where he's choking one of his crew members because buggy thought he had insulted his nose well in the manga buggy does something way worse he instead orders his other crew member to blow him to Smithereens buggy isn't the only person who got Samoyed easily because Bellamy might be even worse you see when Bellamy was playing cards with oroshio when he noticed that rochio was cheating in the game of cards he decided to throw him out the window after shooting him if you think this is bad then wait till you hear the Manga version in the manga Bellamy not only shoots him but also sets him on fire but the changes that were made to the anime were not only censorship there were tons of other differences for instance the beginning of the anime is different from how it is in the manga the manga starts off by showing Luffy as a kid with Shanks whereas the anime starts off with Luffy and Kobe and alvita's ship which way do you prefer another change made is the addition of sabo's backstory after the end of the dress Rosa Arc in the manga salvo's backstory isn't there Oda actually explained that he gave the creators of the anime the draft to savo's backstory to specifically include in the show because he didn't have time to write it into the manga these were only the first tier of facts for the next tier the changes will be even crazier so keep your eyes open anyway let's move on you probably know that Sanji smokes a lot but have you ever wondered where this addiction started well if you were an anime only Watcher listen up in the manga Sanji decides to start smoking as a child yep he started smoking in his early days at Verity because he wanted to become a man moving on from sanjian on DeSoto did you know that he's way more violent in the manga than in the anime remember this ugly guy's pet wolf that Zorro threw a chair on in the anime there's just a tiny difference in the anime instead of only throwing a chair at the wolf Zorro kills it however this is nothing compared to the time when this tattoo on Ace is back changed in a manga Ace originally had a symbol on his back that represents well-being however this symbol can be connected to some other not so nice things as well that's why this later got changed into anime into this Oda also decided to change it in the manga later on we all know that bartolomeo is obsessed with Luffy and the links he's willing to go to are absolutely insane like this time when this guy insulted Luffy bartolomeo gets so upset that he decided to grab the guy's tongue and slice it and it too far in my opinion and the anime it was changed to only grabbing the guy's tongue for obvious reasons out of all the censorships in one piece the most obvious one has to be the middle finger in the manga a lot of the characters just seem to love pointing their middle fingers however this all changed in the anime one of the most infamous moments is in chapter 500 where laws points the finger at kid pretty funny if you ask me okay these facts were pretty crazy but let's move on to the next tier where the facts will be even crazier remember the pattern top Vivi used to wear when she was undercover is a baroque Works member while the pattern on the top didn't actually look like this originally it was most likely changed because the top she wears the monkey is a little more you know suggestive in the monkey it looks like this instead of the stripes being wavy they're circular another thing that circular is the hole made on Whitebeard by akinu but this isn't the only injury he got in Marine Ford in chapter 575 of the manga he also got half of his head chopped off by akinu in the anime this was reduced to only half his mustache getting melted off by akinu's magomagunomi but a kind isn't the only one that became a donut nojiko nami's sister also did okay she didn't really become one but she did get shot by three Marines in the manga in the anime however this was changed into something more heroic and the anime the Marine was shooting at Nami but nojiko stepped in and took the bullet for her sister so tragic and the tragedies don't end there because belmir Nami and nojiko's mom also got shot she got shot by arlung in the chest in the manga however this was a bit more gruesome instead of getting shot in the chest she was shot in the head I think that's enough tragedies for now instead let's move on to plot holes a cheetah Ora is just a Max Level author because trying to find plot holes in one piece is like trying to find a needle in a haystack in fact the anime has a ton more plot holes than the manga the main reason for this is Filler episodes for instance upon first meeting the dragonet punk Hazard the straw hats say that they've never met a dragon before well they actually did on the warship island arc something else I noticed was in the arc when kabaji was fighting zoto when I first watched the anime I saw that Zoro let kavaji injure him to give kavaji an advantage age but when I read the Manga I noticed that it's completely different in the manga Zoro injures himself on purpose he's such a badass and in this scene in the anime where Luffy pokes a hole in his Straw Hat after Nami fixes it she gets mad and yells at Luffy but in the manga things take a rather violent turn she doesn't only yell but instead takes a needle and pokes Luffy in the eye she can be pretty scary sometimes at least Luffy managed to pay her back by Saving her in the syrup Village Arc Luffy managed to catch one of jango's chakrams in his mouth last second and crush it but in the manga the chakram hits the back of his head okay now we've reached the final tier and it's time for the craziest changes in the entire show and we've got to start off with this scene where this dumb little kid gives himself a scar under his eye in the manga this was shown way earlier than in the anime in the anime this was only recently shown in Filler episodes but in the manga it was shown in the first chapter I wonder why it didn't get shown to anime only Watchers earlier now we all know that Sanji is a massive simp but he can be quite Noble sometimes in the manga there's the part where he gets stabbed quite brutally when holding Bobby in his arms by Absalom he throws away Nami because he refuses to let blood get on her dress in the anime he got changed to the knife not fully going through him it's still pretty noble of him though something not so Noble however is Sanji asking Nami this and the salvadi arc when I read the Manga I was in shock after reading that luckily this was changed in the anime to him getting furious over people treating a lady this way let's just say I prefer the anime version of Sanji but listen when I was doing research I noticed another change in the anime that made me so sad in the anime there's this scene where the town folk were praying and crying because they had little to no food but in the manga this was way worse in among other people were getting ready to end everything now let's go back in time a little onto the little garden Arc with the two giants Dorian brogie remember when Zoro Nami Vivi and brogie were captured by Mr three well in the anime Mr three only puts shackles around brogie's wrists in the manga however this takes a dark turn instead of only putting shackles around his arms he puts giant wax swords through his hands to make him stuck another change made in the little garden Arc is when Zoro tried to chop his own leg off to free himself from the wax statue in the manga Zorro manages to cut half of his leg off before he wasop and Luffy manages to save them in the anime this was toned down a lot luckily they made it in time or else the rest of the series would have been a lot different these facts were pretty cool but I've done so much research that I even found some changes to everyone's favorite Arc long ring long land with this very normal character in the fight with Luffy foxy manages to fall right on his own Spike trap in the manga the spikes went completely through him but in the anime it was changed to him being inches above the spikes cartoon physics can be pretty crazy at times these
