what is the CDL Class C and let's make it super simple for a CDL vehicle we're talking about CDL Class A or CDL Class B those are licenses needed to transport anything that weighs more than 26 000 pounds so if your vehicle is rated to carry less than 26 000 pounds now you're in the class C area the only difference between driving a normal car and a Class C is two things one you're either transporting passengers or you're transporting hazardous material right so to give you an example this is a pickup truck it's like a normal pickup truck and if you start transporting Dynamite to a quarry in this thing you're going to need to have a CDL Class C vehicle now the other version of CDO Class C is going to be for transporting limos like this or maybe a small school bus like that
