CAVE TROLL ON WIZARD WITH NO GEAR/HIGH ROLLER - Dark and Darker Guide

what is going on guys red here today I'm going to be showing you how to farm the troll on Wizard and it actually is not as hard as You' think now I'm going to be actually doing this in complete default gear minus the top and bottom cuz I'm just going to sell that usually what you want to do here is you want to go to the merchant and you want to buy this white magic staff it adds two magic damage and it hits for four physical damage harder but for this video I'm going to bring in absolutely nothing now this is the spell setup I have Fireball zap haste invisibility magic Miss and then on the second book I'm taking ignite ice bolt this means we are running two spell memories and we are running Arcane Mastery Mana surge sage and quick chant you're going to eventually need to get the troll Pelt for a quest and if you are playing wizard as your main class this could be a challenge so I hope this video helps you let's go into a normals and then I'm going to show you it geared in a high roller match all right then we are in so the way you know you get the troll is it's the High Roller variant of the normal Goblin caves or it's the mixed normal SL highroller map so basically any of the rooms that look like they're highroller if it's on the map you got the troll there's only three maps and two of them have the troll one of them have the Cyclops and this map's great cuz the boss room is in the middle of the map which helps a lot if you get a bad Circle oh yeah we're in here and we're going to start the fight off by fireballing the trolls head and then we're just going to be whacking it and circling left so you if it shouts yeah we just come here hit it on the hand and it's basically like just doing the troll on any other class that circles left just go for a head shot when it does that smash keep circling left and you want to go in and out just one hit now when it does this smash attack here you're going to do some missiles and that's it in between that you ignite so that when you're hitting it you're doing extra magic damage over time and uh that's about it if you do get the common magic staff instead you're going to be doing a lot more damage with your missiles so it's going to speed up the kill but it's still pretty quick time I'm just going to ice bolt it eventually you're going to run out of magic Missile and Ice bolts and you're going to have to Fireball the head yeah so only use Fireball magic Missile or ice bolt for the trolls head here when he does the smash so he's doing it again and there you go that is all there is to it I did take some AOE there cuz I was going for the ignite which is kind of dumb while he was still on me I have him in a pretty bad spot right now so I'm going to try to just walk over here and try him if he shouts you have to walk towards him and then away so he does a swing you have to bait the attack that can be the trickiest part of troll if you don't want to dodge the screams but I usually just dodge the scream unless I need to move them so he goes for that I go for the missile and missile does great damage right now so it's really useful for troll and just bossing in general little head shot with the fireball move to his left when he screams cuz he screams in a cone and if you're out of that cone you're not going to get hit it's rubber banding a lot I've missed so many hits but it is what it is I F into the face and he's going to shout so I come to his left side go for that ice bolt and that's it if you can get this down you can kill it every time and in High Roller it's even easier because he has an attack where you can get some quick head shot and you can get two hits in at a time you will be seeing that after this it's just going to take a lot of practice to learn once you get it down it's going to feel nice cuz you can then troll arm on Wizard which is pretty fun there is a quest that requires you to have a troll Pelt and if you want to get that Dawn on Wizard you're going to have to loot the Pelt yourself and there you go guys that is the troll on Wizard can drop either a rare or a purple item rare epic and you come down here and you enjoy all the loot sometimes you'll get a cape this time we didn't in High Roller I like to bring a lockpick to hit the marvelous chest but yeah there you go it's it's a nice way to get like a pretty full inventory then you have a little chest over here and yeah so what I'm going to do before the circle moves is I'm just going to chill down here and rest to get some of my spells back in case we get a PVP encounter usually what I would do now is campfire to get all my spells back and then I would go back up we have zero healing so this might be a little bit scuffed but that's what's going to happen if you come in without any heals the circle CLE is going to move and we still have a long way to go so I'm just going to get up now and move with the circle so we don't take as much swarm damage a lot of the times there will be people waiting for you here I like to use light orb to clear this and high roller just in case I'm getting ganked yeah so as you can see there's a rogue right there I just heard a portal go up I do have my eyes on that Rogue I know he's over there so I'm going to quickly hit this portal and uh just get out got 64 Gold Plus the 17 in our inventory unfortunately the occultist pants and the shadow mask not selling so we're just going to vendor it and uh yeah not bad sometimes you'll just get really bad loot sometimes you'll get into insane loot high roller cave troll wizard Goblin Cave Run the gear will be on the screen this is a pretty nuts set it is giving us 46 knowledge and we have decent magic power too we're looking at 67 magic power all right we got the spider room spawn but it shouldn't be too hard to run over there to the troll let's quickly take care of the beetle oh it hit our arm unlucky I wonder where he could be I wonder [Music] I think there was a rogue there by that zombie he went in Biz all right we're going to rest up here to kind of just get back a fireball let's see if we get gank to doing the troll here in h roller oh my God red big fan do you have another channel for D and D Yeah it's red SL red Das dark and darker how do you not know that back I swear you've been here time time for a while all right let's try to get up and kill this Troll and not die to it we're just going to use Crystal Sword pretty much and whenever it does like a smash smash not this smash the other smash we're going to you can actually get two hits there need throw a missile at it and that should just do a lot of damage right there that's why I want all five missiles cuz that's where like the bulk of the damage comes from after the missile change oo can you go to the center of the room please thank you what what I don't know just ran at you and since when bro since when when it does what it just runs at you like that that's crazy had no idea it's okay [Applause] wow that's pretty fast for Wizard I'm not going to lie dude wow wow wow wow and that is an insane ring what did we just pick up brother that is actual B okay okay we just campfire [ __ ] it just a little campfire cuz we want to get our missiles back cuz they're really strong right now in PvP too so why not but yeah this ring is crazy um wow I mean can the health like I guess the health could have rolled higher the action speed's really good for rogue and like the agility and the two truth is is really good for rogue but we ain't done yet we got to loot up all this juice forgot my coin purse let's get them a more uh the the big chest here see what we can find H nothing too [Music] big get this old chest over here and uh yeah now we have to escape without dying I can always be kind of scary especially on Wizard but yeah hopefully there's an a rogue just sitting right here so I'm really careful like I'm going to just throw out all my light orbs and I'm going to rest yo what's good care there's AOG in that room over there oh no we don't like that we don't want a rogue in that room that means we don't go that way oh [ __ ] that ain't a rogue wow he did no damage to me oh anyway I really thought that uh he would do more there he must have hit my arm as I was missling right yeah makes sense anyway we got some decent Treasures those are actually pretty good gloves too true physical I will be taking those that's also a really good ring it has two true physical as well and yeah actually maybe we can just try to go to the static extraction Point here maybe it's been taken though you can never be too sure I'm going to check real quick though and if it was taken we might have a small problem whoa whoa whoa okay okay why are there like 400 oh okay okay oh my God oh insane I'm not going to lie I oh this one's pretty good as well actually it has deck Max health and armor we also got these gloves with two true so yeah overall very very nice run hope you guys
