in Indiana a driver's dash cam records his commute when a pickup trucks move in front of him seems to annoy him but the pickup's driver appears to Signal their Lane change as they approach a construction zone ahead seeming to attempt a zipper merge where when faced with a lane closing during traffic congestion cars merge zipperlike into a single Lane at the closure point point which is according to studies the most efficient approach and also formly recommended by the Indiana Department of Transportation but the driver with the dash cam may be unaware of that fact and since the pickup is a company vehicle with a phone number listed on it a short distance ahead the driver with the dash cam decides to voice his displeasure by calling but what he doesn't know hello hello is that the man he's speaking with is the driver of the white pickup truck hi um one of your drivers uh just ran me off the road yeah that would actually be me that just did I did not run you off the road did there was Tes in the way yes and you knew they were there and you pulled up beside me so I couldn't get over well you shouldn't have gotten in that lane you should have looked at the the signs that say Hey look the road's closing you need to stay in this Lane you got out of your lane okay but you also have to give room my friend I was in my Lane you could have hit the brakes you have to give room my friend you had plenty of room oh when you have a road that lane when someone is already over it is the law when someone is already in the your law I know my law and that's when the sparring I will find don't I will find your business comes to a [Applause] head as the two men argue the driver of the pickup applies the brakes and the driver with the dash cam can't stop in time that is recorded my friend so what we're going to do now is call 911 and they will deal with that so yeah my Lord dude you are ridiculous police arrived to take statements from both drivers and according to the crash report they review the dash cam footage and determine the driver of the truck attempted to breake check the driver with the dash [Applause] cam which in an ironic twist happens to be an illegal action in Indiana but regardless hopefully a lesson learned for both drivers legality aside courtesy on the road benefits everyone and debating the finer points of that uh one of your drivers just ran me off the road is best left no you're W off the road [Applause] my Lord dude it's morning rush hour in Woodward Oklahoma Laney Kepler is riding her motorcycle to work I was headed to work that day and very upset that I got stuck at a red light cuz I was running late but Laney's lateness is about to be the furthest thing from her mind because of something she hasn't even noticed yet a tiny kitten in the middle of the intersection and it just came within inches of a very sudden death its chances of survival are fading by the second I initially thought it was a leaf I didn't realize it was a kitten until he started darting the other direction and has darted directly into the path of an oncoming truck hauling a tractor stop stop stop when the large truck with the trailer drove by there was an absolute fraction of a second where it was pure Terror I knew I had to do something Lany Springs into action [Music] up putting her own life on the line as she [Music] does oh my God I got to get my bike out of the road stay there I don't know who she belong to thankfully there actually was another lady the pedestrian that helped me I was very happy to see her I don't know what my plan was after I got him out of the street oh my God shaking oh you poor [Music] thing Laney decides to keep the kitten his name this is skidmark he is now almost 7 years old sold and if you're wondering how such a tiny kitten ended up in the middle of a very busy intersection listen to this turns out when weather gets cold Mama cats like to put their kittens up in vehicle engines to keep them warm after watching the video back uh you can see he actually falls out of the engine bay of a car that was traveling across the intersection still watching it I my heart gets in my throat thinking about what would have happened had I not been there had the other pedestrian not been there stop stop [Music] stop in Bethlehem Pennsylvania rainy weather has slowed traffic to a crawl traffic is like so which appears to be testing one driver's patience who's beeping the car behind me they want this car to pull out and they can't pull out the man with the dash cam is referring to the driver behind him who is apparently not happy with this SUV and decides to cut in line he suck which turns out to be a bad decision oh and it was and it's on my dash cam what what oh I love it oh you stupid Instant Karma oh [Music] yes it's 5:00 p.m. in San Francisco a car side door camera captures a silver car coming to a stop near a highway on-ramp inside that car are two Real Estate photographers with nearly $7,000 worth of camera equipment in the back what they don't know is that this black sedan has been following them since they left their shoot as the traffic moves forward the silver car is now seen on the same vehicle's dash cam and the black sedan once again pulls up close to its rear the driver of the car recording who wishes to remain anonymous notices the black car but doesn't think too much of it I see this black car coming along my side and I thought I was just going to trying to cut into traffic so I was like okay well I'll let it through you know I give him some space and then I see him cut in front of me as expected what happens next is anything but expected a man in a hooded sweatshirt gets out of the black car punches through the the rear window of the silver car and grabs a bag full of camera equipment from the trunk it was actually dead silent the only thing you could hear was the glass breaking nobody screamed nobody said a word and then I see him take the bag and I'm shocked and then I see him speed off the photographers Ben barabani and his wife are also shocked and very confused now I hear the biggest smash uh in the back windshield and the first thing that came in my mind was someone rear end the our car but I looked back and I saw hand trying to steal my camera back I didn't even know and you know from which direction they escaped you know I was 50/50 on stomping my accelerator and chasing the black condo cord I thought to myself well they might be armed this seems kind of like a dumb idea and my life is exciting enough so I chose uh chose not to to follow though he doesn't follow he does find a way to help I flagged the victims over I told them hey I got footage he say his dash cam recorded fa team even the licensed plate so we exchanged our phone number they share the video with the police and tell them they believe they noticed the suspects watching them earlier my wife saw them in front of the house that we were shooting and she believes that they targeted us from um in front of the house despite the video evidence as of this broadcast the suspects have not been found but the story does have a silver lining so the night of I pulled the video for my hard drive I tweeted what happened I woke up the next day with uh I think 5,000 retweets 10,000 likes and I was like wow this is pretty crazy but after it went viral a bunch of TV station started uh airing it and one of the TV stations set up a GoFundMe for the camera equipment I was stolen cuz it was very expensive thousands of dollars the fundraising helps Ben and his wife replace their stolen equipment all thanks to a Good Samaritan who captured the startling incident on his dash cam he's a kind person and he did take the risk to pull over and help me and to share my story they were extremely nice Ben and his wife took me and my business partner to dinner and they even did some corporate head shot for me so I got some professional pictures done by them um all is kind of a generous thank you when competing with others for limited parking be careful of Who You offend their wrath could have very serious consequences at a clinic in Baton Rouge Louisiana the cameras on Amanda obin's car record As She searches for a spot in the very crowded parking lot after minutes of circling Amanda finally sees a spot open up and starts to pull in just as another driver in a red car seems prepared to do the same I approached the spot that I was going to pull into when I saw a car backing out of it now I didn't see the other person waiting at the time I assume maybe we just pulled up at the same time but since I was on the right side I went ahead and pulled into that spot but the other driver pulls in behind Amanda and waits I thought it was pretty weird that she just pulled up directly behind me but I Tred not to think too much behind it I did watch her through the camera on the back of my car just to see what was up the other driver gets out and seems to complain to someone else about having lost the spot I noticed when she was talking to that person her her fist was clenched pretty tightly and you could tell she was pretty tense and probably upset but the driver finally gets back into her car backs up and pulls into another spot at that point I figured okay everything is cool because we were both parked and then she walked in to her appointment so I just proceeded to do the check-in procedure for my doctor's office while in my car Amanda finishes her check in then heads into her appointment altercation apparently avoided but when Amanda returns to her car later something is very very wrong it was very obvious that my driver's side door and driver side passenger door was very damaged um I was pretty upset so Amanda reviews the footage from her car's cameras and is stunned while Amanda is at her appointment the other driver returns and she's clearly not quite over losing that initial parking space the woman drags her keys across the side of Amanda's car leaving a serious Mark she then returns moments later to key some more not only once but twice on the doors it seemed like she's done this before Amanda brings the video to the police and the K gets her Just Desserts we did get a copy of the police report and she was arrested and charged and I was recently paid um retribution as well the woman is charged with simple criminal damage to property and she must pay retribution in the amount of $1,500 which certainly helped ease Amanda's bad feelings about the whole incident in the end my car was fixed nobody was hurt I'm glad she was caught and hopefully she learned a valuable lesson especially being blasted on news sites and TV I mean she got what she deserved so in the end I'm not even mad anymore it's done [Music]
