right now I gotta know that there was a man named Frank Gresham and he's the father and the husband of some of our CCA faculty and he is in a very grave situation right now and I want us more last week I've told you when we cry out to God it gets God on the scene Frank Sneden got on the scene right now and your voice is gonna cry out for him and called garbage hung and don't you lift your hands and let's call out to God for Frank God we just thank you for miracles that have already manifest my god I thank you that in this place I've already moved north victory has already been released for those prodigal children who do you have already began healing their lives Franconia for dire situation we pray that your strength would come on the singing your healing my god really [Music] so did get one of those guest cars and you fill that out and you drop it in the offering basket or you bring it to the back Calvary will donate five dollars to orphan ministry just because you filled it out and dropped it in somebody y'all are glad that we do stuff like that and we just fill in our hearts and we'd you know we do a lot for orphans but we're going to do more and we thought here's another way that we can sow and give to orphans so for each one of you that drop it in the offering basket or stop back by and guest central if you're new to shake my hand and pastor Dawn's hand if you turn that in we're gonna give five dollars to orphans ministry and we believe God's gonna touch a lot of people's lives so we're so happy that you you're here and maybe you're new to the church and they need to get involved in growth try that's right and a new class will start up at this very next week pastor and I will be doing that one and so if you've not gone through growth track you can jump in you can register on the app or online or you can just show up next Sunday morning and everything will be there for you but that just will cause you to know what's going on at Calvary our mission our vision all the good stuff and you know one of the things we're most excited about this small group challenge many of you are involved in small groups and we have a meet all over the community and really all over our region and we want you to know that Calvary is a big Church but we're we're a family and one of the things we want to do is do life together and I you know sometimes when I talk about small groups if you're not a member of one you kind of tune it out but I want you to listen to me we are hearing about so many breakthroughs and so many miracles in our small groups a little noise if you'd like to bring her back and let's just blow it and have a miracle knife we want to bring her back but they were excited about this weekend and how about the baby dedication oh yeah baby dedication Sunday September the 9th at 11 o'clock that's in between our two morning services so if you have a baby to dedicate that's your time bring that baby all right anybody blessed here today I want all the blessed people make a little noise come on okay that's the kind of blessed people I want the real blessed people make some noise in the house are you blessed why you blessed he did this first service I said again because I'm married to you tell your neighbors don't speak truth hallelujah she speaks true anybody blessed today are you blessed you know we've kind of got things I know this is not a good word but it's kind of wackadoodle come on we've kind of whack things out a little bit because we think we give to get blessed look at me we don't give to get blessed we give because we've already been blessed hallelujah who's already been blessed but what happens is that when we do give that does bring blessings in our life Luke 6:38 says to given it'll be given back to your good measure pressed down shaken together and running over kind of like your plate is on Thanksgiving Day a good measure pressed down shaken together and running over who likes your plate to be like that and that's how God wants to bless you God wants to bless you in a very powerful way I believe that God provides for us financially but many of the blessings that I have in my life watch this now money can't buy it there's blessings a a great wife hallelujah wonderful kids a church like you that I'm a blessed to pastor I have so much in my life that money can't buy who's thankful for all the blessings in your life that money can buy come on those are your biggest blessings let me hear from you if you're thankful for those blessings in your life who's glad to be saved man that's a big lesson but here's the deal precious the Bible said that if we would give it would be given back to us good measure pressed down shaken together and running over and that's the promises of giving the God you know Calvary we're committed we're all-in we were in outreach we're in orphans ministry we support missions around the world you're giving absolutely makes a difference we had busts full of people that came we had people who slept in parks and and and in cardboard boxes last night but they were in church this morning they received a good meal come on they received brand new socks brand new underwear a change of clothes that's who Calvary is and you're giving makes a difference you enable us to do that but listen to this the Bible said given it will be given back to you once this good measure pressed down shaken together and running over and this caught me just a while back it said shall men give unto your bosom and I thought about that I said Lord I want to be that man I want to be the man that can give I want you to bless them in such a way that I realize I'm just a conduit make me the man make me the man who can help a family who's struggling make me the man who can so generously at my church make me the man who can support missions you know in my life we've had times when when our money wasn't funny it was hilarious have you ever had your money be funny like really funny we weren't poor we were PO we couldn't even Ford the last two letters come on y'all and and we needed a breakthrough and somebody would come up and shake my hand do you remember and I would feel a bill in their glory that God you know I'd go coach it right there Oh Helen yeah Jesus because I knew that there was something there and then I would go I didn't even have to go the bathroom and I would go the bathroom because I wanted to see what the Lord had done and I would go into the handicap stall because I needed room in case I wanted the shouts and I looked in and see a fifty dollar but I go oh holy Lou you are a twenty dollar bill but here's the deal here's what I know I've been the slippy and I've been the slipper in other words I've had Pope folks slip me money and I've slipped people money and I'm telling you I would rather be the slipper than the slippy I want to be a place in my life where I don't always beat somebody to have any money I want to live where I can be a blessing to others how many of you want to be the man to get on the woman that can be a blessing to others that's for sure you talk about it to us all the time tithe give remember God be faithful it starts today some of you you say well pastor I've never done this y'all just get in faith and do it don't and I live this life I don't feel like you can take somebody somewhere you've never been we live a life of generosity we give our very best even today I'm gonna give $100 to Catherine Mullins ministry I would like for you to join me those of you that want to be a blessing her how many you
