(Niko grunting) - Teamwork is where we all work together and we do something and we accomplish it. - I didn't use teamwork
to earn my trainer badge. I bet I can do a puzzle by myself. - Grab corner, then
put them in the corner. - That's a very good strategy. Oh! (kids cheering) - [Kids] Two, one. (Adley gasping) - Oh! - Claire wins again. Good job. - [Kids] Me, me, me, me! Where's that Spacestation gym? I don't know. Where is it? - I don't know. Where is it? I don't see it. Huh? - Maybe... Wait, I think I see it! - [Kids] I see it! I see it! know a lot about Pokemon? (laser sound) Well, I hope you do. But I assure you as much
as you think you know, there's so much more to be learned. And I hope you can learn
a lot because today, you're gonna have to outsmart our gym leader. Everyone welcome gym leader,
(drum roll) Shon Duras. (whistle and drumming) (horns sounding) - So you think you can earn
a gym badge and defeat me? (karate chops) I don't think so. I'm the gym leader. (bomb explosion) Do you guys have one of these? - No. - Do ya? - Yes! - Of course not. That's a gym badge and you
dorks don't have one yet. Let me teach you how you
can be a gym leader like me. First, you're gonna need a pokedex. Professor, teach them how to use a pokedex. - This will be the most
important tool that you use today to learn about your Pokemon. - My Pokedex is already full! - You're going to find nine Pokemon throughout the day on your scavenger hunt. And there's also four
challenges that you need to complete to outsmart gym leader Shon Duras and earn your gym tag. - That's not gonna
happen. I'm the greatest! (kids cheering) - This will be the nine spots to fill in your Pokemon you find
in the scavenger hunt. These four will be the challenges that you complete to defeat Shon Duras. - It's gonna hurt me! - No, it's not. - Yes it is! Everyone cheer "yes it is!" - Yes it is! (chanting) - OK Young trainers, I'm a Pokemon master. I'm gonna teach you all there is to know. - You don't even have a
badge so no you're not! - Well maybe I'll just earn
one today with all of you guys. Okay? - Yeah. - I'm gonna teach you all
about throwing pokeballs. - The other thing I'm gonna teach you is how to catch Pokemon of your own. And if you pass some of
the challenges in battle studies class that I'm gonna teach you, you'll even - I don't care about battle studies class. I care about Pokemon
badges (angels singing) (screams) - First, you need to become
better (sword swing) than - Me. (evil laugh) If you want these, you're gonna have To pass all four challenges. Good luck, new trainers. - And if you want to be able
to catch your own Pokemon you're gonna have to learn
how to do battle studies and Pokemon throws from me. (cheering) - And maybe you'll get your very own Pokemon
(screams) to prepare for. - I'll excuse you to go with coach. Learn how to throw your
very first Pokemon ball. (cheering) (screaming and running) - Okay, everyone get in a line single file starting right here, facing that way. The first thing I need you
to do is look over here. What do you see? - Pikachu! - Good job. - What you need to learn
is how to throw a pokeball. Okay? So did I hear there
was a birthday here today? (party blower) Okay, how about you be the first up. Stand right by that line and do your best. Throw the pokeball and try
to hit one of the Pokemon. (ball flying) (bell rings) - Oh, you did it! Good job! (Pokemon music) - That was a great throw. - Adley, you're up. Let's see your skills
at pokeball throwing. (bell rings) - Yeah! - Aww. ( ball flying) (bell rings) - Nice! You did it! - Good job, Kinsley. - Whoa, that's harder than I thought. - It's harder that it looks. Professor Bird for your fourth and final challenge. You're almost gonna win your badge! Come On! (screams and cheering) (running) - Welcome back trainers
to your last challenge. I hope you got fun with coach. But now it's time to learn even more about finding more Pokemon. Now as you know, Pokemon are
being discovered all the time. So you guys, when you're out in the wild might discover your own Pokemon. So today, we're gonna
practice coloring them because when you find new Pokemon you're gonna have to
put it in your pokedex and draw it and color it
and all sorts of stuff. So, I've given you each a piece of paper with existing Pokemon on there. And you guys can use the crayons on the table to color
'em however you want. Sound good? - Yeah. Yes! - All right, everyone get coloring. I gave that one specifically
for you, Nicola. I know that's your favorite. - I'm coloring his eyes black. I'm coloring the whole things black. (banging sound) - Alright trainers. Good job everyone. Your coloring looks amazing. Now, at this point I'm
gonna have you all take your coloring back at home
so you can continue to hone in on your skills and practice
drawing and Pokemon. Okay? So everyone clear off the desk we have one last challenge for you. This one's all about teamwork. The most important thing
that Pokemon trainers can learn is teamwork. Because you guys can work
together to find Pokemon in the wild. You can help train each other for battles. It's the most important
thing you could ever do. Adley, what is teamwork to you? - Teamwork is where we all work together and we do something and we accomplish it. - Exactly. So we're gonna do just that with a puzzle. I have a Pikachu puzzle
here with a hundred pieces but I think with all
of you working together you'll be able to accomplish
it really quickly. (Evil laughing) Oh no. - I didn't use teamwork
to earn my trainer badge. I bet I could do a puzzle by myself. - Well, class if that's the case, I've
got one for him to do all on his own if he thinks
teamwork's not that important. - Duh! - There you go, gym trainer Shon duras. Let's see if he can beat this amazing team of
trainers all on your own. - Uh, I think I can do this. - All right guys. It's a race. The team versus the trainer. Go for it! - Grab corners and put 'em in the corners. - That's a very good strategy. Everyone get with one another
and help each other out. (mumbled talking) - We don't need edges we only need corners 'cause the edges can go anywhere. - Yeah, he's struggling over there guys. Make sure you work together. (muffled talking) (evil laugh) - Oh trainers, already got a Pokemon
built. You're going down. - We have the whole bottom done. - Pffft. I'm not worried about it. Okay. You guys are kind of fast but, you're not gonna beat me. - Guys. About 10 pieces left. - I'm close. - No you're not. - I don't need a team. I'm a gym leader. - Oh (cheering) - Congratulations trainers. You did it! The last and hardest challenge but you work as a team, and you earned that last
Pokeball to get your gym badge. (cheering) (angry grunts) - I heard you guys just
got the fourth challenge! (cheering) - Alright - Everyone, gimme your pokedex and I'll give you your last Pokeball and then it's time for the
closing ceremonies where you guys get your badges. - Yay. Yay. - Good job Trainer. (kids laughing) - All right, trainers. Are you ready to earn
your spacestation badge? - Yeah! - Awesome. You did it. Do you have your Pokedexes? - Yes! - Okay pull it out. You did it. You passed every challenge. Here's the gym leader now. - Alright, trainers. I didn't believe in you,
but you proved me wrong. You used teamwork. You learned how to use Pokeballs. You found your own Pokemon. You did arts and crafts. I think you earned badges. Who's first? - Me! Me! - Nico your badge. Claire, happy birthday. You earned your badge. Your
spacestation gym badge. Good job. You deserve this. Well done. And the final badge for the
final trainer.(triumphant music) Enjoy those spacestation
gym badges, trainers I'll see you in the Pokemon world. - Alright Now that you've got your
badge, I've got a little gift for all of you. - Where? You're truly Pokemon Masters
and you get your very own Pokemon trainer hat. Here you go. - Please. There you go, trainer. - Check this out. - And There you go Trainer. - [Boy] Oh that's big on me. - You also earned your
very own Pokemon that you there you go. There you go. - And since I'm personally
so proud of each and every one of you, you each get your own Pokeball. And not only that, but to
keep inside the Pokeball your very first Pokemon. Here you go. - Thank you - Each of you can keep it
in your little Pokeball. - Oh, thank you. - You're welcome. - Thank you. - Here. Pikachu to match your dress. - Well, that's the end
of your Pokemon journey. Thanks for coming to our gym. Bye - Bye! Bye! (classical music playing) (squeeking) (sparkle)
