Catching MONSTER BLUEGILL Fishing a HIDDEN LAKE!! (Public Fishery)

there you can gosh I think a bass just ate it Dad what is going on guys welcome back to the channel fishing with nordby out at the venue today folks are getting ready for a wedding it's Friday they have a big old wedding tomorrow I think we have about 16 more weddings this year and we've had a bunch but getting ready to take the rig to a new Lake I've never fished not fishing our trophy Pond today our last Runner is called a six pounder out of there last weekend begging but got Dad up here from Florida again we're gonna go catch them we're gonna go catch them in a new Lake okay we don't know what we're going to get into I have no idea it's gonna be fun I've heard there's big crappie I've heard there's big bass probably gonna focus on those two species and uh whatever the title of this video is is what we caught so we don't know but we're gonna ride up there it's about an hour from here and I've just never been to it I need to venture out get out more here in Alabama but Guntersville is just so close you got five boat ramps within 10 minutes of the venue here there's three within like four minutes five boat ramps within 10 minutes of my house over in Guntersville and I just don't don't make it to other Lakes as much as I should except for tournaments that keeps me busy enough we're traveling about 100 days out of the year now but we're gonna get out of here go fishing excited let's go [Music] thank you [Music] all right we're just getting out here to the lake you ready Dad we're ready I'm excited got big swim baits on we got lay downs we got Kasumi grass we got all sorts of stuff it looks beautiful it might be I forget what they call it might be water Willows with the name of that grass it's not the Kissimmee Street not Kissimmee grass but it looks like a fish is like it's that grass that's in Needle Henry comment down below if you remember the name of it water Willow Maybe let's fish all right we are rigging up just got dunk in the water went through a little swim jig on I see some some scattered grass by the boat ramp here we also we're gonna bass fish today that's what we're gonna do unless we see some schools of crappie out here we're gonna fish for bass already I know there's some big ones in here so we're going for it I haven't put some Glide baits on today this little swim striking swim jig three and a half inch rage swimmer slide it up on the hook just like that probably still my spring jig on braid pop it through that grass at that hook hard y pen 65. all right this is the kind of Swing to get through well like these different kind of hooks I don't use the oh that's what you need right there so I'd use that kind of jig on them I didn't cut some of that maybe that chatter I gotcha perfect now we're ready now we're ready so this Kissimmee this Kissimmee grass right here just take it and pop it through it like that and they go that's all you do right there full swing what oh thank you thank you so much all right Dad what are you gonna start with I might do big baits for a while all right I'm gonna I'm gonna throw around a big old there's a little swim bait for a while I didn't want to get a giant bite that don't kill on it I'll Trail it now they're gonna smash it [Music] I need to get better at throwing these big swimbaits [Music] seem a little lethargic I don't know if those are oh yeah there are oh you want to throw in them real quick was it worth their monster bluegill let's throw a worm in them real quick no our drop shot worm worm do we have any left on yes I want to see if they're big if they're big we could fish one for a few take another limit of bluegill home in 20 30 minutes they're not big we'll just forget them well then we might do bluegill fishing for a few get one they're all this size oh jeez yeah that's that's a giant right there oh yeah what do we have dinner tonight I think at least fly them up I think I think I gotta keep some of these you get away let's fish for these for 20 or 30 minutes and get our limit it do that those are Biggins bluegill come to the trophy Bass Lake and we're bluegill fishing now I don't know Dad not yet there he is oh these are Biggins laughs I can't even pull this bluegill up gosh that's what I'm talking about right there dad beautiful the old Crowder slabs yeah beautiful big old bluegill two number two dad's rigging up [Music] throw them in the thump net that's a big I bet they'd crush a little cricket oh yeah man these are Biggins that's fun they fight hard [Music] ER one yeah these are nice good get your knot on there for your weight all right the hot spot is right over here that's three and then they don't want it moved at all they don't want it moved at all just wait until you feel your line twitch and then they're there oh I missed him got him jeez monster bluegill gosh yeah that's beautiful that's what makes a healthy bass like right there healthy panfish these are Biggins yeah they're right in there whoo jeez look at them pull five already wow when they eat it they get it all right Dad time for you to catch one come on all right there's bluegill beds from behind this patch all the way to where we're fishing and I've only got bit over here the hot spot for the last four was like right there hear that grass area yeah just letting it sit there on slack line jeez they're a little more finicky than those small ones we caught the other day again wow these are all Bigger Than The Boogie we caught the other day oh yeah Megan that's how big gosh that's the big one of the day so far that's a beast that's a beast look at that one guys this is a giant they're finicky they won't eat dads because he's tied his hook on braid that's seven Biggins that's cool giant oh my gosh the first small one the first small one there are small ones in here baby come back to bass fishing all right I'm gonna fish some brush piles we just caught a three and a half pounder out of a breast pile yeah so throwing a six inch screen reflect brush hog for Dad all right Dad a little thump gel on there okay get them I'm gonna throw this jig on a little Strike King football finesse jig and it's a half pounds that's a 3 8 ounce on your Texas Rig this is a 5 8 uh no it might be a half I think this is a half ounce football jig with a rage crawl three inch rage crawl let's get them assuming crappie over there correct some big crappie I think foreign [Laughter] got him got you good on that one got you good on that one oh there's one casting this one right here that's 20 feet 30 feet dang talk about a splash trying to kill him when they fall fish it's on the bottom good maybe we should idle around for a bit since mega3 yeah all right we've been grafting around we just found a bunch of big bluegill beds this might be a bluegill fishing episode big old bluegill I'm excited so we are gonna see if we can catch them Let's uh drop some worms on foreign oh yeah that's one that's one that's something big and dead look at that thing she round s she is around look at that beautiful oh monster monster Gillian wow wow I felting it right there well that's different foreign I see him down there oh yeah small throwback it's not as big yeah we can only keep 40. it's not a 50 fish limited person like Guntersville this place is 20 a pop there's a bed like right here I can't get them back to save my life oh I guess right past chest right here it's duck that was a big all these bluegill beds have been marked the Biggins got it there's some more right over here foreign I guess all right we'll move right there it is I didn't mark anything it drove past it the first time so I doubt it okay I'm gonna get ready to catch one now a brush pile we can't get a bite on these bluegill beds it's the weirdest thing [Music] that was a bigging it wasn't like that one he didn't get you on there dad I don't know I think you're moving your worm too much you get one he got off they don't get off oh that's funny oh wow teasing me like damn that wasn't nice at all right up over here until that's something you saw him something or dog's going nuts a dog sounds like a dog how come we can't catch more than like one big enough of these uh foreign oh it worked oh begging big yeah getting the complete power off turn it back onward gosh look at that oh that might be the biggest one so far I know that's a monster you know when they have a forehead they have a forehead that's when they're Giants big old forehead comes up a big old brain on them look at that one guys beautiful Bagel yell that's crazy that's so big awesome okay we are catching some Giants we're just not catching the numbers we're finding big bluegill beds up here next to the bank and there's a lot of beds but there's only a few fish that want to bite on each bed it seems like maybe only one wants to bite on each bed so we're gonna keep fishing around hopefully pluck some big ones continue to pluck some big ones off of these beds because they are Trophy Class bluegill pretty exciting so some monsters let's keep catching them look at them all these are the ones that I thought were loaded there's more to the right too yeah kind of wild isn't it yeah you knocked them out right off the bat and there's some barometric pressure already first gone I don't know how that looks oh you're right there where they should be in yeah yeah that's him began they're just finicky they're loaded on this one gosh Biggins guys Biggins huge huge gills look at that there's my hand there's my hand he goes from the tip of my hand all the way down past my wrist a real Gill look at that yeah from my middle finger all the way down that's where he's at middle finger all the way down to there giants that's a giant oh I'm going on the play board gosh that's a big all right they there's bluegill beds right there of course they don't want to eat crazy there he is yup another bacon all right I just thought they didn't want to eat you have one too nice nice oh it wasn't recording we just caught the biggest one of the day guys big old Shell cracker wasn't recording how about that thank you look at them all tons of them oh I just got bit on the left side of this grass I know they don't want to eat it today again gosh I think a bass just ate it Dad I had a bluegill and a bass just ate it oh my gosh yeah I got the film on I really hope I can get this fish oh he's in the weeds look look even go we gotta chase him we gotta chase him oh my gosh I think he got off I don't know oh the blue the bass got off Dad oh I got the bluegill oh I got the bluegill but the bass is trying to eat him still look at that the bass is right there there's two oh look at it look at look at him look at that bass demolish him you see that you got the net you got the net worm he broke me off he broke me off he broke me off that was so cool big old bass ate that bluegill that was a Giant Bluegill too break it got it I think it's time to call it time to call it foreign what a blast catching those massive bluegill put our acc's to work and we were drop shotting worms on the bluegill beds that was amazing what some junk what some what am I talking
