[Applause] all my progress goes back down today's trip was amazing oh yeah i can't catch you because all right cool today's today's trip was amazing we had a great time hit some hit some sandbags [Music] today's trip was awesome it was great good time weather was perfect [Music] [Music] baby baby as soon as he dropped his bait that he just got i still wish i had that on camera that was funny says he has something i think getting out and doing events or activities like skydiving deep sea fishing zip lining you know mountain biking any anything like that it kind of you know it gets someone outdoors so they're not stuck in uh and that's always a good thing it also goes and helps with the camaraderie of what we talked about before and um and just kind of gets people out instead of just being a homebody and and not not having that connection with with other people hey being out here on the water absolutely helps me it's it's it's really therapy it's de-stressing it's great i mean come out here have fun catch some fish and relax i was able to connect with other veterans because i was able to get uh hang out with guys that have the same mindset as i do and we were able to do something that was really enjoyable together i think mine's bigger anybody that's skeptical about signing up for this yeah you know don't it this is hands down the best thing you could ever do it's hundred percent therapy it's 100 percent fun it's worth everything hungry boy over here digging it uh these trips help with like you know right here yeah anxieties and that comes from from uh from deployments and stuff but also i'm sure for like first responders it'd be good to kind of just get out of the day-to-day grind of being on the streets [Music] so doing trips like these is is what all veterans need because we lose that camaraderie that we had when you know i was in the marine corps so when i was on the court with my brothers you know i miss that so much and i know guys it helps them a lot to do something like this [Music] again a bunch of vegetarians together doing outdoor projects like this it helps build a camaraderie you reach you're talking to people you never really met before and they probably going through the same thing you have so you make building connections oh it definitely helped me today um today you know i was got off of work you know i was feeling down feeling you know out of whack out of out of my zone and just being out there in the water today just got me back to level back to where i need to be feeling great and it was awesome it was great to spend time with everybody hanging out with brothers you know the ones that i missed and making new friends so it's always good to meet new people and get new buddies to hang out with don't touch it what's going on fellas we're looking for some fish for sale for lunch uh we don't have any for sale or a fish [Laughter] go talk to frankie fight fish he sells them for what's it five bucks for fish hey those guys right there i think are selling have fish hey i've already had that don't even worry about me and two of them are transvestites all right homie that's it have a good one guys get up up there look hey all right you ready out here you got a camera out here oh too far i'll get that don't worry about it somebody should have filmed you hey don't drink and drive [Music] hey that dude is gone you ready [Music] all right whoa uh fishing and doing outdoor activities helped me overcome um just a lot of anxieties that i maybe had and sometimes not wanting to leave the house and you know being a homebody it helped out in that sense definitely going out with veterans like doing programs like this would definitely definitely help me out a lot today like i said making connections meeting new friends i love it i enjoy it i do it again i felt that this trip was great for one thing i like fishing i like dc fishing so it kind of forced me and gave me that excuse to get out there and do it um dustin was awesome you know he had everything set up for us so we didn't have to think about anything helped us out where we needed it and then just to get together with like-minded guys individuals it was awesome i say try it out you don't like it you don't like it but at least you know you know you never shoot anything down unless you try it that's all i gotta say about it i love it
