anymore it's a major turnoff to millions of people certainly me and I preach it with the best and rest of them the first fifty years of my life but the scripture here says move beyond it and go on to maturity go on to solid meat not laying again the foundation of repentance from Acts not repentance alone rethinking but repentance from acts that lead to death all you do is mulling accidentally to death otherwise or shouldn't turn this oh my god he's making a list checking the drawer it's gonna find out who's naughty or nice repentance from acts lay not laying again the foundation of repentance from Acts Eliot or our faith in God get beyond it this religious God that we've created don't have faith in God about or foundational truths about cleansing rites or water baptism various baptism sprinkled dog in Jesus name that any thoughts on all the girls names falls on all those in Jesus name go beyond the laying on of hands go beyond teaches about the resurrection of the dead and about eternal judge are you into the world freaks get beyond that to so much there's so much more aren't you hungry don't you want it wouldn't you like to witness it walk it work it it's for you precious hearts this Hebrew six passage doesn't necessarily suggest abandoning Jesus or Christ consciousness but going on from preaching Christ to preaching what Christ or Jesus preached we preach Jesus not what Jesus preached Jesus did not preach Jesus he did preach Christ consciousness not by that terminology by the consciousness of it his sermons were simple about birds nature fish wheat sheep lambs goats you know talked about love these were not prolific this is he preached the Joel Olsteen kind of preaching which millions loved everybody wants to put Joel down because he's Christianity el ite he preaches more like Jesus than some of the most brilliant scholars academics historians and philosophers on the planet Joel Olsteen and I've known him since he was a young much younger man knew his father well preached in that church many times even dated his sister a couple times i god the universe has raised Joel up to where he is right now in this brilliant I love his teaching atheist love his stuff Jews non many non-christians tune into him he's the only spiritual food they they are attracted to others go beyond Joel's into the Super Sunday type stuff super soul Sunday that with with that Oprah emphasized which is a lot more extensive and expansive and not more depth but the masses rarely get there you know so Joel has this place and it's very powerful but I but he preaches more like Jesus because if you read Jesus's teaching and they're not a lot in here you know the Sermon on the Mount is not the only sermon he preached but it's the kind of sermon he preached the most that's why it's repeated and dimensioned in it you know he doesn't call a lot of Scripture neither this Joel he doesn't go into a lot of profundities profundities he just talks somewhat mystical things and the depths of what he says he spoke mostly in parables parabolically so that simple-minded people could understand what he was saying love storytelling Joel does a lot of storytelling I think it's excellent and I think it's preparatory I think that he's been raised up to waken people who had stopped going to church and totally decision started listening to him outside religious boundaries he still has some in there but he's sorting through it there's a marked difference I said between preaching Christ or preaching Christ consciousness what Christ preached or what Jesus preached
