well it's getting about that time and I don't mind telling you I'm hungry this place will work it's a closed down hunting hunting season only campground as a big gate it says don't park in front of the gate but it's raining it's raining a little bit I don't think anybody will be here Plus that it's not hunting season ah well today's canteen cup Tuesday is gonna be what we like to call Low Country boil some people call it Frogmore stew but really all it is is shrimp and sausage and shrimp the shrimp sausage corn and potatoes some people put some people put all their fish or crab and different stuff in it a crawfish but the real deal is just shrimp and sausage corn and potatoes anyway doing that usually takes a big 20 quart big stainless steel pot of course all I have the canteen cup so I'm gonna have to make some some adapt adapt hmm what's that word adaptations at that yeah anyway I gotta adapt to cook in a canteen cup traditionally this meal is is cooked for large gatherings you know you might have 10 20 50 hundred people but since there's only one person says there's only one person what I have is miniature corn this is some some sausage but it's precooked sausage and then these are some potatoes that I threw in the microwave this morning for only about 5 minutes just to get them a little bit soft so it won't take as long to boil and oh and then I got a dozen shrimp in here and some Old Bay seasoning I might have for a guy that's that's important part to old bay season so anyway I'm gonna get going with these potatoes and sausage first and then the corn in the shrimp won't take but only literally like three minutes to cook you making the stuff all set up I'm just gonna add my Old Bay seasoning you might have noticed I had a beer well that's because you got to put a little beer in there too hmm I wonder what I should do with the rest of this it is non-alcoholic I am on my lunch break can't get in trouble for drinking a non-alcoholic beer Kenya it's already come to a boil it's already time to add my potatoes and my sausage all right well it's been four or five minutes oh what's going good we drop in the cord these are little miniature corns you know you get them too cam baby corn I got them in the Chinese section but all this baby corn see I'm just gonna break them fit them right in there I'm gonna add my shrimp too and I bought these shrimp they're deveined they're devein and they don't have the heads on they do have the skin and legs I'll say I got take them off you know after they're cooked maybe we just dump them right in this only takes these a couple minutes to cook godly man look at that nothing worse than I think I'd rather eat a undercooked shrimp that I would an overcooked shrimp they don't take better so literally three three minutes three or four minutes all right this is I'm calling this done I'm gonna put it my little play right here now I'm gonna eat would you look would you look at it look at that goodness right there yeah yeah I gotta have me one of these shrimp right now hmmm perfect it's perfect the Old Bay seasoning is pretty spicy you notice I didn't use any Texas Pete today don't really need to man that old bass pretty pretty spicy and I put about twice as much you're supposed to in there and that little that little container anyway let me get to eat the rest of this I went ahead and took a minute to go ahead and peel my shrimp and then I just put all my shrimp skins in one of these plastic bags anyway I'm ready to dig in hey I forgot to mention - this is the sausage that I'm using is a is actually an dually sausage so it's is pretty spicy too so with the the spiciness of the sausage and the spiciness of the Obey I really don't need any Texas Pete whenever I make this I think that you know you think shrimp is too started the show but it's not the sausage is I eat your sausages all day bad you like shrimp there you go just a one man a one-man low country ball in the woods as usual I do want to say thanks for hanging out with me for a while well I made some Low Country boil on my canteen cup it's fun coming up with these ideas and seeing if I can cook them in my canteen cup and and I really appreciate you guys checking it out I appreciate comments and I appreciate the thumbs ups and if your sub to my channel I appreciate you being a sub if you're not a sub well don't cost nothing just click the you know are you gonna do is click it anyway I guess we'll see y'all next time bye
