what you guys got another video here for you can't uninstall the program not a problem today we're taking a look at a program that you can't uninstall on your system i'm going to show you how you can remove it from your computer without leaving any remnants but first let's have a word from today's sponsor this video has been sponsored by cdk sales if you want to snag yourself a cheap windows 10 pro oem key then check out the links in the video description create an account and click the buy now button and use my promo code capital b capital and apply this to your order and you'll get yourself a nice juicy discount head over to the activation center and then activate your version of windows 10 or windows 11 pro so this is quite a common problem when you go to uninstall a program and you just can't remove it from your computer and that's what we're going to take a look at in this video so here we are in control panel and you normally go to programs and features and uninstall program there's the program that we're trying to uninstall doesn't necessarily mean that this program is bad it just means that something's going on here that we can't explain and we need to try and remove it from our pc because i don't need it on here so this is basically what can happen you go to uninstall it and it's not coming off the system so we might go to settings and then we can go down to apps then we can go apps and features and you might try to uninstall it via this method when we go to the actual three dots here and click uninstall and then click uninstall again and hopefully say yes to the user account control and this will then hopefully remove it again it opens up a web page and there's no page opening and it's not letting us uninstall this from our pc which is not acceptable really because if you don't want it on your pc why is it not coming off by the uninstall method it has an uninstaller built into it and it should allow you to uninstall it now sometimes you can go to the actual folder of the program and there'll be an uninstaller inside that location so let's go ahead and check this one out this pc go into c drive here and inside the program files there's nothing in this program files x86 let's try the other program files here and there it is there we can see it here called esus so what we're going to do go in here go inside the folder so we're looking for the uninstaller and this is on a friend's computer and i wanted to remove it for him and uh he said he tried to uninstalled it and he couldn't uninstall it on his pc and again when i click on the uninstall it takes me to this page i'm not sure what's going on but i'm pretty sure we can remove it pretty easily by using a program which i'm going to show you right now so go to the internet here and what we're going to do is we're going to paste in here a link to a site called revo uninstaller you see me use this program before you can either use the freeware version or you can pay for the 12.47 for the pro version on an easter special this is not sponsored by uh revo uninstaller at all ideally you would like to use the forced uninstaller method for this particular problem and this will remove everything from the computer including any remnants but even on the free version i'm pretty sure that it's going to remove all of the traces from the pc so we'll give it a go and see whether this is going to work so i've unzipped the portable version and dragged it out onto my desktop here open this up gonna right click and run this as administrator here and say yes to the user account control and accept their terms and conditions by clicking ok and there we are we can see the program is listed here so we don't have the false to feature on the free version but we're going to click on this and we're going to go to uninstall and then basically we're going to try to uninstall this from our pc so click on uninstall here and uh what we're going to do is go down here now you can create a restore point if you wish i'm going to remove that tick and click continue and uh what i'm going to do here it's going to try to open up that page again so i'm going to close all this off here and i'm going to go to advanced and what we're going to do is click scan and it's going to scan the pc for any traces of this program that's in the registry in the programs folder and any other location that this program has installed itself into so you can see here i'm going to select my computer here this will tick all of the boxes here and this is exactly what we want to do next i want to go delete and this will delete all of the keys that have been found here so i need to remove all of these from the computer so let's go ahead and do that now by clicking delete click yes and you can see here it's going to delete all of these and it will move on and find any leftover folders and files on our system so i'm going to select all of these as you can see they're all related to the esa's data recovery and what we're going to do here is select all of these here make sure they're all selected and click delete click yes it's now going to remove all these from the computer and they are now removed and the program has been removed from the pc very simple and easy to do and it's removed all of the remnants from the pc so very useful for people that are trying to remove a program that they're having trouble with now like i said the free version doesn't offer this forced uninstall to remove remnants or i mean previously uninstalled program so if you already tried to uninstall the program and it's now missing from the adam remove program section you can use something like this to remove it but there is other ways are going about doing it as well bishop which is using the registry and everything tool which i'll quickly show you here now when we get this program here let me just quickly see in control panel it has been removed and all of the remnants have been removed from the pc now what you can do is also use another program called everything and what this is going to do is allow you to search your computer for any sort of terms that you want to search for so you can either do the portable version or you can get the install version i'm going to go for the installed version here and install this on my system and once we get this installed you can then do a search for uh program files that you're looking for for instance is another term that i would search for inside there to see if there's any sort of leftovers left behind so let's go ahead and get this installed and i'll quickly show you how this works so i'm going to go into the search box here and i'm going to type in here esos and we'll go ahead and see whether this detects it and it has found one folder here that's all it's found so i'm going to explore this folder to see what's inside here and it's inside the program files and it's probably empty and it is and that's it it's just left it empty on the system so i can go ahead and delete this folder and that is how you can detect any sort of traces that are left behind you can also do searches for the registry and other things like that but there won't be that much to find because it would have found it inside this program here so let me go ahead and look in apps and features and you can see it's not listed here it's all gone gone and it's completely been removed from the pc now you can also use the registry to do a search for terms as well so let's go ahead and open up the registry editor by typing regedit inside the search box here and open up the registry editor and once this opens we're going to do a search on computer here we're going to go edit find and we're going to do a search and match the whole strings only and see if we can find anything that is called esus and we're going to do a search for this here and hopefully you won't find anything on your pc but if it does you can always right click and delete it because the program has been removed just make sure it's tied in with the actual program that you're trying to remove from the pc so it's going to take a bit of time because it's scanning the whole pc for files that are related to it and you can see it's finished searching and it's done a for a search of our registry and it's found no files that are related to that term again you can remove that tick if you want to and it should see if it finds any uh programs or files or folders on your pc and this does take a bit of time to search the whole pc again and it's going to search it and then hopefully you should get a clean bill of health sand finish searching uh throughout the registry and it found that no more terms related to that what you search for and again you can search for whatever it is that you're trying to remove on your pc so there we go so i can close off the registry and that is basically it that's basically how you can force uninstall a program that won't install on your pc on windows 11 windows 10 or any other version of windows so i hope everyone has a lovely friday i just want to say a quick shout out to all my youtube members all my tier 1 members i really
