How to Force Uninstall A Program That Won't Uninstall in Windows 10

which you guys got another video here for you in this one we're gonna be taking a look at how we can force uninstall a program that won't uninstall now this can sometimes happen when you have a confliction with two programs and it then gets a mixed up and it could be firewalls anti viruses and stuff like that and they can sometimes become non uninstalled able so what we're going to do here is come down to the search box and type control panel and I'll quickly take a look inside control panel here now if we take a look at programs and features here which is where the program will be listed inside here I've got a firewall which is called zone alarm Pro and this could be any type of program you see I'm clicking uninstall here to uninstall the program and it just hangs and then nothing happens and this is because there's been some sort confliction going on and I want you to try to show you this so I thought make a quick video to show you now an easy way of getting rid of this is by using something like Revo Uninstaller I'm going to use the portable version it's free to download and we're gonna put this into another folder cuz it's in a zip file there we go and then we can open up Revo Uninstaller and click on this and click OK here now this is just like an uninstaller program on steroids you can basically uninstall programs a lot more efficiently using this because it allows you to remove all the registry keys as well so we're just going to click uninstall it will do a search and what its gonna do is give you an option here to do moderate advanced or safe depending on what you want to do I'm going to do advanced here and once you do that it should then suddenly start to populate and let you scan ok so I'm just gonna choose advanced here now you can see it's not coming up with anything here so I'm going to do is close the program off which is running which I'm trying to uninstall which is zone alarm so I'm gonna close down alarm off here push exit and let that come out here then we're going to go to the task manager here and close the services that are running for that program there in this case it's zone alarm but yours may be another program that you're using or an anti-virus or something like that so I'm just going to come down here and remove these two processes here now once we've done that we can enclose this task manager off and just make sure there's no more services they're running and it should then automatically start to work when it should start to appear and there we go it's appeared so we need to do here just that to give it a few seconds to come on and if it doesn't you can restart Revo Uninstaller with those services stopped now I'm gonna click yes here and it's gonna start to uninstall here so we're just gonna let that uninstall and I'll just speed this process up a little bit here there we go click finish and now I don't to reboot so I'm going to say no here because rebooting will mean I won't get the ability to click scan here and click advanced because I want to only actually remove all the remnants on the computer you can see there's a bunch of stuff here so I'm just gonna remove all these by selecting or you can either click select select all or just put the ticking at the top and it will select all of them and then click delete and this will delete all those registry keys there we go and again I'm going to do this next lock delete and that's now closed off and we can now close this off and reboot the computer and hopefully when we reboot a computer that should be all removed from the system we can now close off this box here and just restart so restart the PC and I'll speed that process up but I did reboot the PC and we can go back to control panel here and you should now see that the program or the offending program has been removed from this system anyway hope this one I'm sure my name is Brian from bratok computer code or ek thanks again for watching bye for now now if you haven't subscribed yet hit the big red subscribe button on my YouTube channel and hit the bail notification bar NYX today to be notified when we upload new videos [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music]
