Can You Beat Terraria MASTER MODE Using Fire Weapons Only?

in this video I tried beating Terraria Master mode using fire weapons only any weapons that produces fire or can inflict burn damage will be allowed however to make things even harder I will not be allowed to use weapons that inflict frostburn or the shadow flame effect will I be able to take down moonlord with such limited options stay tuned to find out alright like always I started off by chopping down some trees for wood and after cutting just a few a eucalyptus sap dropped so now I have a little buddy with me to keep me company throughout this journey walking left I found a cave with some horse so I mined some iron and found equipment like the aglets and the wooden boomerang with the boomerang I'll be able to use it to craft the flame rank later on a little deeper down I saw a good chunk of rubies which will be perfect performing a bunch of gel I then mined a bunch of silver and gold got myself some shoe spikes and then met my demise to a worm and a bat since I could not fight back without a fire weapon after respawning I quickly built a little house in the sky because there were a lot of monsters around I crafted the amethyst hook and with all the silver and gold ore that I mined I crafted the gold pickaxe that's going to help with speeding up Mining and the silver helmet for a bit of Defense now it's time for me to get my first weapon that's in the jungle but as soon as I went down I instantly got killed by a dart trap yeah I kind of forgot how much damage these things do in master mode but after respawning I returned and found Pharaoh claws the suspicious looking eye along with a gravitation potion and my first life Crystal and then guess what yeah I died to another dark trap but anyways I obviously went back and found my first weapon the flare gun this wasn't the weapon that I was looking for but with it I could start killing monsters even if it did take a million years to do it took me a whole three minutes to be able to end up killing a single man-eater and a spiked jungle slime to reach the chest on the other side that contained flower boots so I basically stayed in the jungle finding a bunch of accessories like the cloud in a bottle the magic mirror and anklet of the wind which I'll use to make lightning boots later along with a bunch of light crystals it is Master mode so it was necessary to stack up on as much health as possible so I kept searching for Life Crystals until I reached Max health after getting 400 health I stayed underground because I still had to find the actual weapon that I wanted it took a while but I was able to finally find the maze with 99 torches I combined it with the mace to make the Flaming maze now that I have a melee weapon I wanted a weapon that had a longer reach which is the wand of sparking however after searching both left and right side of the world I wasn't able to find it which isn't going to affect me too much but it would have been nice to have I returned home built some empty houses and then drank a gravitation potion to search for Sky Islands I found the lucky horseshoe and the shiny red balloon now having some good accessories and Max health I summoned the Eye of Cthulhu when Knight arrived I didn't have Hermes boots so I had to use my grappling hook to dodge attacks [Music] after defeating the odd Cthulhu I built even more NPC houses and then went down to the corruption to craft slime crowns at a demon altar the reason why I wanted to fight this boss was mainly for stacking up gel as ammunition for later on when I do craft the flamethrower but also for a chance to get the slime out after defeating the King Slime twice unfortunately I wasn't able to get it so I went searching for Hermes boots instead I found a gold chest and as soon as I opened it I got blown up I really thought it was just a regular gold chest but it was rigged with traps I came back to it and found out that it had Hermes boots that I was looking for so thank God I went back to go check after getting Hermes boots I had plenty of gold so I replaced my silver armor with gold armor now it's time to take on the next boss which is the Eater of Worlds I went down to corruption built an arena and then broke Shadow orbs to spawn the boss the Flaming mace is definitely the better weapon for the spot since you can just hold down the attack button to just red this boss as it moves all right after defeating the Eater of Worlds I killed it once more to make sure I had enough materials to craft both Shadow Armor and the nightmare Pickaxe to be able to make my next weapon that's going to make the fight against Skeletron much easier I had to gather some hellstones so I mined all the way down to Hell and once I collected enough I crafted the enchanted Boomerang using the wooden boomerang and fallen stars and then with 10 health stone bars I made the flame rank that had 49 melee damage this weapon has much more range than the Flaming mace so I'll be able to attack skeletron's hands without getting too close to it I went back to hell to mine some more hellstone to craft the molten armor to boost my flamerang's damage even further so now it has 57 damage instead of 49. I'm all set to play Skeletron so I headed over to the dungeon and began building the arena when I arrived I talked to the old man who's up in the boss surprisingly I saw that I was dealing some decent damage to the Head even without taking out the arms first and I really thought about just hitting only the head until the boss dies but the arms are quite annoying so I decided to kill it normally foreign Was Defeated I now have access into the dungeon so I went down and searched for two items the Cobalt shield and the shadow keys with the shadow key I'll be able to unlock Shadow chests that contain a wide variety of fire weapons I was expecting a goblin army to invade during all this time but it hasn't so I had to kill Goblin Scouts for their tattered cloth to make the Goblin Army standard to summon them manually after defeating the Army I found the goblin tinkerer so I bought Rocky Boots and the workshop from him with the workshop I made lightning boots and a blue horseshoe balloon going down to Hell I began opening Shadow chests I pretty much was able to find everything that I wanted the Halloween bow that shoots the Flaming bats and the sun Fury I then mined a bit more hellstone to craft the M staff the molten pickaxe to mine the hard mode ores whenever I defeat the Wall of Flesh and the volcano with all these weapons especially having the Helloween bow I summoned the Wall of Flesh everything was doing well but I accidentally double tap the right movement key propelling me into the box due to having the shield of facility so I ended up dying but that's all right I waited until the guide respawned and then summoned the Wall of Flesh again [Applause] after defeating the Wall of Flesh I opened the treasure bag and received the firecracker with this weapon my imps attacks will cause enemies struck by the whip to explode I then went back to the corruption and destroyed a couple of demon altars to spawn into hard mode ores I mined Cobalt mithril and a whole lot of titanium to make the full armor set afterwards I farmed enough Souls of life and the Knights to make demon wings along with all three mechanical boss summons the first boss I summoned was the Destroyer because I knew it would be the easiest with the sun fairy you could even shoot it as the same as the eat of world's fight that I had before but just with a bunch of probes flying around [Music] foreign after defeating the Destroyer I summoned Skeletron Prime as the next spot to fight I wasn't really sure which weapon to use against as fast so I tested out the firecracker first but then realized that the sun Theory did more damage foreign Prime I use Souls of fright along with some iron bars and illegal gun parts to craft a flamethrower this weapon is going to make fighting the next few bosses much easier however I didn't have a ton of gel so I had to use it sparingly thank you once the Twins were defeated I can now search for the Plantera bulb but I saw that I was running low on gel so I killed the King Slime a few more times to suck back up Once I arrived at the jungle I might chlorophyte ore for later on when I'm able to make Specter armor and after a while of searching I was able to locate the Plantera bulbs so after making an arena I summoned the bot and I really feel like I should be doing a lot more damage since I am using fire attacks on a literal plant thank you after defeating Plantera and receiving the temple key I made my way into the jungle temple to then summon Golem and with the flamethrower I was able to hit every part of the lot thank you so after the string bowling I had to deal with a Pirate Invasion and after doing the playing judgment I got my hands on the black spot which is a mount that allows you to fly infinitely so it's a pretty darn good Mount especially against moonlord because it'll make dodging its laser beams a lot easier now it's time to upgrade my armor from hollowed to specter I went inside the dungeon and formed an ectoplasm and during that I even got another fire weapon which is The Inferno Fork this weapon shoots out a fireball that explodes after some time with lingering effects a returned home crafted a full Specter armor set and then defeated Golem until I got the heat ray this weapon is specialized in destroying single Target enemies which leads me to my next boss to fight that's going to be against the lunatic cultist destroy Ed once he was defeated I destroyed all those Celestial pillars starting with the Stardust solar Vortex and then finally nebula I attempted moonlord using the mage build multiple times but I kept feeling don't get me wrong the midge cut is very good but I decided to switch things up so I crafted the Daybreak using solar fragments from the pillar and it switches up my armor back to Hollow with the set effect on the armor and a chance to dodge attacks from the black belt I got from the dungeon I had a much better chance at surviving fatal hits [Music]
