Can you beat Shining Pearl if Pokémon Evolve Randomly? (MODDED Pokémon BDSP)

the title is correct i have modded pokemon diamond and pearl the new games brilliant diamond shining pearl uh yesterday uh we actually started yesterday we modded it yesterday day one of the game being out actually the mod was out before the game was out uh technically so um we're doing a modded playthrough and and all that fun stuff so um let me show you how actually crazy this gets so if we look at my uh twitter really quick uh you can see that uh we've modded it so the pokemon sizes are actually like their sizes so you see this whalelord he's a gigantic boy this starly is a small guy right and then uh we had a palkia uh the other the other day and uh that thing is the size of a house uh so if you're curious that is one of the mods right we have modded it so um the pokemon are accurate to their actual sizes not only that but we've actually modded it so every single level my pokemon gain they randomly evolve into another pokemon which is how we got said palkia and whale lord if i recall that palki i used to be a turtwig and then it turned into uh a cascode so that was a lot of fun um but anyways yeah you guys want to get into it i mean we can just get into it [Laughter] like real quick [Laughter] uh it's a lot of fun it is is a lot of fun um and i am live early if that's not obvious um because i want to stream this i'm having a lot of fun and well i can only be live for about seven hours today so i might as well start early right so uh why not a new exceeding for the two months welcome back to the murder gladiators in the stream and yanny will thanks for the six months so uh yeah um if you take a look right you'll see we have a couple pokemon let me show you my team we have accident the sableye we have chad the charmeleon help the cloister me the merrell and crafty uh the what pokemon is that again right i don't remember what it's called [Laughter] um but yeah um we have uh these six pokemon um balls um we have these six pokemon and yes if they ran if they evolve sorry if they level up let's say uh accident the stable eye um evolv levels up from 27 to 28. i think they do that pretty soon right 30 yeah 38 xp needed right once they do that well he's going to evolve into a random other pokemon blue thanks for the raid party of 272 playing some hollow knight hopefully your speed runs went well hi thanks for the six months appreciate that but yes uh i am playing pokemon brilliant diamonds shining pearl we've modded it uh day one uh so the game came out and uh we finished the mod uh and so this is new so you can see the sable eye really small size uh size uh size of the pokemon have been modded as well as uh um once again our pokemon evolve uh randomly every level they gain they're kind of cool got a new pb recently so that's nice oh hell yeah blue let's go let's go speed runs were pretty good because he had a great pb oh wait the speed ones weren't good because he had a great p but that that's great that you have a good pb god damn stop running you can't keep up he's just too tiny he's just too tiny uh but you know what i think we run with our charmeleon honestly there he is look at him look at him new second place time dude congrats anyways this is uh i i like to treat this more as a um regular playthrough than a challenge uh i'd i'd like to consider it that unless you guys want me to play it more like i'll ask you guys again should i play this more as a playthrough of brilliant diamond shine pearl where we have this mod in the background making it kind of interesting and fun or should i just skip through all the dialogue and everything and just go for the challenge up to you guys up to you guys but it seems like [Music] it seems like uh a blowout on what kind of thing we want what version uh we're playing on um shining diamond brilliant pearl as it were frantic suzy thanks for the 16 months [Music] all right we'll do it as a as a playthrough because i find that more fun and we'll have the mod in the background so uh it's a it's a more interesting playthrough than everything else so we still do have uh this so it's a lot of fun hey grill listen i need your help i dropped my pokedex by accident and team galactic found it please i need you to help me will you team up with me to take them on all right we will all right so you will see here one of our uh pokemon our sableye specifically is going to gain a level which means after this battle the pokemon is going to evolve randomly into some other pokemon it's really fun so let's get through this first um uh we'll just figure it out real quick um the thing with it is that move sets stay so let's say we have a charmeleon that learns flamethrower and then we teach it you know teach a flamethrower because it learns it right when it evolves into the next pokemon in the next level that next pokemon will still have flamethrower so yes we do have i think a charmeleon that knows brian um tried to learn waterfalls um and a whole bunch of other stuff uh it's actually really cool and it's an interesting strategy because like while you need a really good pokemon like you hope for legendaries on some hand you actually don't know for legendaries because while it's cool legendaries don't really learn moves upon level up therefore you don't get a new move so you can be stuck with like let's say you get let's say we catch a magikarp and it knows splash and tackle and then it evolves into another pokemon it's only going to no splash and tackle unless that pokemon evolves into learns a move on level up but it's actually a very interesting problem we have and if you haven't uh if it's not obvious uh by this um once again pokemon sizes are actually uh um modded as well so uh the beer flying dust stocks are like the way basically the way it works is that all of the models for pokemon are the actual original size of the models okay we have three level ups okay so we're going to get three evolutions so accident mean crafty are all going to get new evolutions after this battle that's crazy yeah back to back evos honestly um okay crafty wants to learn rock slide um okay so you get to see we have bite earthquake extra sensory in brine do we learn rock slide over bite that's the question here because keep it keep this in mind this moveset is going to retain through its entire life side like life cycle do i get rid of bite or do i keep fight i think i keep fight because one of my other pokemon has power gem which is also a rock type so it's weird because when you're creating your team in this mod it's not like oh which pokemon you have it's which moves do you have so our moves have like a tight coverage here which is very interesting all right sending out pro gunk here so it's kind of cool it's actually a really interesting problem we have to go with um just joined what mod is it it's in the title as well as exclamation mark um i've explained it a couple times and if you stick around too i i'll probably explain it again in a couple uh couple minutes um but yeah pretty cool we'll hopefully get a pokemon that you can see the size difference pretty accurately you know but uh hey i really like how uh uh we've done this it's pretty cool i don't know how many times have you seen a uh a pokemon game modded on day one like that's crazy that's crazy isn't it right you have to admit that's a little bit insane all right so shout outs to uh craftyboss who was able to make uh my uh custom mod for the uh evolutions uh constantly shots to pokemon 7 for the idea and then uh distant kingdom uh for the day one mod of the pokemon sizes so what's actually really interesting is that um the pokemon size mod is it's really not like it's not anything special special because all of the pokemon sizes their models are their original size right so like whalelord is the size of like a city it's huge that's what they made the model s and badu is the size of your little pinky right but then what nintendo did was that they scaled the models to all be the same so they actually made badu bigger and they made waylord smaller and so this mod was essentially just reversing back to make it better like it trust me on this you're going to watch this and it's just such a better experience of just like watching the pokemon scale it's more like engaging what's up mango acro thanks to 100 bits i've seen nine hours it hasn't been it's so cool it's great also um i'm gonna try to get this on youtube as soon as possible uh julia and uh and lauren i i told um zoe my editor uh that um that she could talk to you guys for like fun parts in the in the run and everything he moved the face cam and see the other pokemon we're rarely in double battles so it's just a pain so i wouldn't worry about it too much because we're gonna get out of it anyways all right but now that we've ended this uh this battle uh you can see that our pokemon i think we've had i think we have like so so too many level ups all right so all of our pokemon are basically gonna change after this battle because after they gain a level up they randomly evolve into another pokemon to sami thanks for the four months welcome back to the murder [Music] also evolving into an arceus right it's it's it's it's into an arceus you know what actually i'm not mad about the scyther i'm not mad i'll take the scyther i will take the scyther it's it's you know uh if you look at it from like a far distance and kind of squint away and like close your eyes and turn around it is it looks like an arceus so it's like a green arceus ooh um what's our move set so we know minimize bounce sweet kiss disarming voice oh we have minimize which is wait minimize is just literally a better double team yeah minimizes a better double team so we have we get rid of double team all right and then we have our i think our last pokemon here uh evolving which is our what's that pokemon again yeah what's the name of this which which pokemon is this what's it called again take it take your pokedex those things we uh had in the warehouse have already been moved to pastoria city anyways so we'll say we'll you'll get yours and run like the grunts we are we're blasting off to it like 72 times and then go to one of these meteorites and talk to it 147 times you'll eventually get a deoxis did you was that like a thing that you guys had like it was like a rumor that went along like in your i wouldn't say like like in your in your like elementary school when you played the game whether like if you if you talk to those meteorites you will get deoxys somehow this is one way isn't it yeah i i feel like i feel like it that's fake no it it is fake like i feel like that's obviously fake um oh i need the galactic key though i don't think we we go to pastoria right if you go under the bus there's a mew there it's actually a truck all right excuse me let me get keep this real quick uh are you going to take route 214 you're serious aren't you too badly chewed up there's nothing to see there it's that there's a ruin maniac guy all right oh right right i remember this route right because this is where the uh um mansion is there's a truck under the bus yeah i actually had this like weird uh rumor going around my elementary school where if you beat the elite four in pokemon fire red leaf green i think it was like 47 times then they would get extremely harder so that would like unlock hard mode and then you can if you beat the hard mode one which is like the hardest mode of them then you'll get uh mew3 i think it was like you'd unlock mu3 oh wow we already have level ups okay so accident just leveled up to a diglett but it's going to level up again [Music] um we'll keep in cadabra because we have knockoff [Music] wait knock off doesn't do anything to it it does it's actually super effective if i lied i know my time at time matchups imagine not knowing your time matchups in a pokemon game imagine being a pokemon creator and not knowing your type matchups cringe all right all right chad's also getting a level up i swear we don't normally level up this fast it's just randomly this one like like it's just all of them uh like appeared all at once but yeah the pokemon if they haven't ever stoned i actually don't know but we're not going to try so like the thing is is that like people you know we've had i've had the the comment you know before hey why don't you just press b because like we had a palkia before you know uh it evolved i believe into a cascode um but like uh we had a pal kion it's like oh why don't you just press b on the evolution to stop the evolution um while i would love to do that it's like against the the spirit of the challenge you know uh it doesn't make it fun right like it would make it not fun if we get a party of six is trying to get is is doing a shiny only uh playthrough of pokemon brilliant diamond shining pearl and uh he's he's still he's still on the first three minutes of the game um he hasn't gotten a shiny yet brief race he has gotten a shiny but it was the starly which he couldn't catch so uh yeah it's really funny if you if you as i was in there uh yesterday and someone asked him how he liked the game the game where you can discover to see if you have a shiny pokemon is when you are facing against a starly it's a it's a it's uh a planned encounter by the game where it's like you have your starter and the starly attacks you and you have to beat it right but you don't have any pokeballs for that encounter so you can't catch the starly so if you see the starly exists and it's shiny it's just the biggest middle finger to anybody who's trying to get the starters oh the geographic heads sturdy we do we do be flat though hopefully we'll get like a huge like a giant pokemon or a small pokemon just so i can show you guys the scaling mod because while the evolution mod is really cool the scaling mod is pretty day to day moment to moment and it's really awesome nice we got one evolution right okay in and during that time uh the mom the mommy right who really loves the daddy um will get very stressed over you know if the storks don't come in or not over those like nine months so she'll get uh like stress eating everything and she might get a little bit more round like like uh you know right but uh that's that's because she's stress eating so she might gain a little bit of weight um and it's actually really awesome when the stork does come in um she gets all tired you know exhausted because of relief uh so uh yeah that's uh that's how babies are born uh they are delivered from storks from the north pole active still man next to the prime game there was a war a pokemon award talked about it by lieutenant serge rumor is ash's dad died in the war and stuff oh okay and like was turned realized [Music] that if you go to the pokemart in the first town you actually get the parcel to give the oak and then you can move on until the rest of the game and actually beat the first gym leader [Music] so i spent like 80 hours i don't know if it was 80. it was maybe a little less like like literally like i'd say like 60 80 hours just battling wild pokemon in viridian city that's that's the you know right and uh i was like wow this is a really fun game i got my charizard up to like level 50. yeah i mean the rest of the game was a breeze you know it was a pretty you know by red leaf green really easy game by the way why is the bayou so small i mean it's a small pokemon it's like that one a link to the past review that listens to the uncle and never comes out of the house for days that's funny yeah he's so small i mean if we like if we make um it's part of the mod right so we make accident you know walk with us it'll be obviously bigger right because accents are bigger pokemon
