Can You Beat Resident Evil 4 Remake Without The Merchant?

hey boys so I know this isn't Resident Evil 4 Knife Only like I promised in my last video but just know that I've written about 12 pages of content for it okay so the longest scripted video I've ever done and I'm working extremely hard to get it out as soon as possible anyway the no Merchant challenge you guys seem to really enjoy the video I did for the original all those years ago so what kind of man would I be if I didn't try it for the Remake what makes this challenge difficult is obvious I cannot upgrade any weapons my attached case will be forever tiny and anything the merchant wants to sell to me will be collecting dust on a shelves for eternity but there's only one problem the knife isn't infinite like in the original meaning once that puppy breaks it's game over I don't know why the modern Resident Evil games love giving us breakable knives but yeah that just makes the challenge 10 times harder is it possible to beat the Resident Evil 4 remake without the merchant on Hardcore can I get through the entire game without giving this man a dime let's find out okay here we are I'm actually like really nervous for this challenge because I I literally don't know if it's even possible so yeah basically I'm gonna be like keeping all the loot I can avoiding as many enemies as I can because the bosses are gonna be okay calm down sir calm down sir holy Christ did I miss my I know it so if it wasn't obvious this guy was freaking crazy okay I think I spent like 45 minutes on the guy I don't even know how many attempts I did I thought he was weak to knives in in the remake but I don't know if he actually is I feel like he's not I ended up having to use my handgun a bunch of grenades a bunch of stuff like that I did eventually beat him but my God man uh I was not happy okay so yeah I would show you the I would show you more but it's kind of boring to just see a fight for that long so uh yeah let's just skip to the part where I beat him okay oh my God holy [ __ ] that was not that was not fun that was not fun I I lose I I lost all my grenades thank you for all the green herbs thank you okay oh my God man I can't believe it oh yeah one more thing uh so this military section of course was really difficult I died a lot it mainly came down to luck uh and I did have to kill some of the guys there so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go straight to Sadler and show you my setup and everything I did for him there's really just not a lot that happened in this section so there's no point in me showing it all right boys so right here is my final inventory that I'm hoping will be good two grenades three knives two first aid another full heel and a bunch of ammo I hope we're good I'll be using my machine gun first got about 500 rounds that I've been saving up the entire game so I'm hoping this will be enough for Sadler you're a small time Sadler oh [ __ ] Sadler oh God don't do it you prick oh bugs already huh you gonna go down boom I hope that's good I don't know if that's like barely doing damage to him or what but yup oh I'm trapped Sadler don't do it don't do it Sadler I'm trapped move oh that's too many boom please man please just die please
